Kellee L. Greene is a stay-at-home mom to two super awesome and wonderfully sassy children. She loves to read, draw, and spend time with her family when she's not writing. Writing and having people read her books has been a long time dream of hers and she's excited to write more. Her favorite genres are Fantasy and Sci-fi. Kellee lives in Wisconsin with her husband, two kids, and two cats.
Less interesting than the first book with somehow even less encounters with the infected than the first book which had almost none, the entire book is practically a bizarre basic love triangle set in the apocalypse with very little to no description of the environment or the general setting, you'd be forgiven for forgetting the world had ended given how little the author sets the scene
Just finished reading the second one in this series and looking forward to next one. Great characters and story, the monsters are different and pitiful. Makes you feel sorry for them but maybe I have fallen under the hypnotic spell they cast!
This book series is alright, but I'm so sick of authors writing women hating other women because they're women. Come up with a reason for the hate or leave it out.
I'm, also, sick of the author's overuse of the word "said". Character A said this. Character B said this. Rinse and repeat. Please, get a thesaurus.
I wish we could use half stars in our reviews. I would give it two and a half stars.
This is the second book in the four book series. You must read them in order to understand what is going on. I felt this probably could have been just one large book considering the genre. I like the plot and am interested in finding out how this story develops. So far, I like how it is going. The characters are good, and I like them. I am going to finish the series as I am hooked now.
I hate boring romances. And I REALLY hate shoehorned love triangles.
Anyway, Whitney is still super annoying. Main character is still boring and annoying. Love interest that didn't die is still meh.
Wasted more of my time, and for what? Not gonna pick up the rest of the series. I'm guessing main character is gonna turn out to be pregnant at some point in one of the books, since the love interest was mentioned to want a family in the first book, and I guess the teen daughter isn't good enough to the author. And the potential bland drama of raising his brother's baby, I guess. I don't care.
