She’s been given a choice. Mate with the part-cyborg alien who abducted her.
Or die.
For Shreya, taking an alien for a mate was never in the cards. As one of the human women who rejected the idea of being a tribute bride to the Drexian warriors, she was just fine without a big, hulking alien. Even if they are gorgeous. But now that she’s been taken captive by one who won’t take no for an answer, it looks like she may not have a choice.
Vox barely remembers being taken by the enemy and turned into monster, but according to the human he has tied up, he was once Drexian. Not that it matters anymore. The only thing that does matter is completing the mission he’s been taxed with—mating with the reluctant female. Even if it means keeping her locked up with him in an alien pleasure house until she submits.
But, her friends are looking for her and the pains in his head are only getting worse. The more he gets to know the human, the harder it is to imagine forcing her. Will he be bound by the aliens who control him or will he listen to his heart?
This standalone action-romance novel features steamy scenes in an alien bordello, a part cyborg alien with muscles for miles, action-packed space battles, and smoking-hot Drexian warriors who will do anything to protect the women they love.
If you like hot alien warriors, spunky Earth women, and steamy romance with a happily ever after and a few laughs, you’ll love FORBIDDEN, the fifth book in Tana Stone’s sci-fi romance Tribute Brides of the Drexian Warriors series.
I love sexy aliens and independent heroines. I grew up on Star Trek: Next Generation and Star Wars (and I adore them equally). My favorite superhero is Thor (with Aquaman a close second because, well, Jason Momoa), my favorite dessert is key lime pie (okay, fine, all pie), and I still lament the loss of Firefly.
I live in North Carolina in the US and have one husband, two teenagers, and two neurotic cats. I sometimes wish I could teleport to a holographic space station like the one in my tribute brides series (or maybe vacation at the oasis with the sand planet barbarians). :-) When I'm not writing, I love to paddleboard, dive, travel, and read obsessively!

🛡️ Hero Spotlight: Vox
Once a proud Drexian warrior, Vox was captured by the Kronock and subjected to brutal experimentation. Fitted with a cybernetic eye and repeatedly injected with Kronock DNA, his body began to morph—grey scales, altered instincts, and a mind twisted by relentless brainwashing. His mission? To carry out Kronock plans against Drexians and Earth’s humans. But when a Drexian rescue team arrived, Vox didn’t return to his people. Instead, he fled in a Kronock ship—with a human female in tow.
📸 Heroine Spotlight: Shreya
Shreya’s journey begins in tragedy—losing her family to a tsunami before relocating from India to England. A microbiology student with a quiet resilience, she’s abducted by aliens and brought to “The Boat,” a space station where human women are offered as tribute brides to Drexians. Shreya, wary of the towering warriors, chooses independence over romance, carving out a life in the station’s lower levels. When the Drexians uncover disturbing intel about their missing brother, Shreya is recruited for her scientific expertise to assess the damage—and possibly reverse it.
🚀 Plot Pulse
Shreya discovers that Vox’s transformation is unstable, reliant on constant Kronock DNA infusions to stave off agony. She theorizes that Drexian DNA might offer a cure. She joins the rescue mission, hoping to help—but Vox has other plans. He hijacks the Drexian ship, abducts Shreya, and escapes to a pleasure planet teeming with galactic outlaws, determined to fulfill his Kronock programming. What follows is a tense, emotionally charged unraveling of identity, loyalty, and desire.
💘 What Hit Home
• Vox’s arc from dangerous, brainwashed weapon to gentle protector was compelling. His shift back toward Drexian instincts—especially in how he treated Shreya—felt earned and emotionally satisfying. • Shreya’s duality was beautifully handled: brilliant and brave, yet still vulnerable. Her fear didn’t diminish her strength—it made her human. • The chemistry? Off the charts. The steamy scenes were intense, intimate, and well-paced.
🧐 What Fell Flat
• The amnesia twist post-DNA injection felt like a narrative detour. It dulled the emotional momentum just when Vox’s internal conflict was peaking.
🎧 Narration Notes
Solo narration isn’t usually my jam, but Jodie Bentley is a standout. Her vocal range and accent work brought the cast to life—especially Shreya’s British lilt, which added charm and authenticity. Bentley’s ability to differentiate characters made the listening experience immersive and enjoyable.
📝 Final Takeaway
A sci-fi romance that blends body horror, emotional healing, and sizzling tension. Vox and Shreya’s journey is one of transformation—both physical and emotional—and while a few plot hiccups slowed the pace, the core relationship shines. If you’re into tortured heroes, smart heroines, and high-stakes intimacy, this one delivers.
Alpha Alien🐺👊💪🍆⛲ ADULT Romance💕 and Abduction Adventure. Book 6.
You don't need to read all of these wonderful sci-fi romances, or read them in order, either. They are stand alone books and each contains enough references to the reasons why there are human women being matched to Drexian Warriors🐺👊💪🍆⛲ as tribute brides👰.
This book has Shreya💃💋, a woman who was previously on the "Love Boat" space station💫as an unmarried woman, or Independent, being abducted by Vox🐺👊💪🍆⛲, a cyborg. Vox🐺👊💪🍆⛲ was a Drexian Warrior but has been somewhat altered and brainwashed by the Kronock👺 at one of their research facilities.
Vox🐺👊💪🍆⛲ was rescued by Drexian Warriors🐺👊💪, but he made off with Shreya💃💋 in a Kronock ship. Vox🐺👊💪🍆⛲ is now part Kronock, but the alteration is unstable.

This is a wonderful and well written ADULT Sci-fi read with awesome 🌎world building! Enjoy!
As usual Tana Stone delivers. I love her Drexian warriors, big, bad and beautiful. Guaranteed to sweep you off your feet, love you forever, and protect you to the day they die.
I did not understand Shreya. Vox kidnaps her and tells her that he plans on impregnating her so that he can destroy her world. Vox then takes her to a whorehouse and their room has a bunch of items and straps for restraining her. He demands she change into a sheer dress or he will strip her. When she goes into the bathroom to change, he walks in on her showering, ties her up, and puts on the sheer dress and then fondles her hoo ha. and she gets turned on??? Wth. Not really respecting her 20% in to the book.
It does get better but it is still weird how she is okay with him forcing himself on her.. He doesn't go all way but he tied her down and fondled her even when she said to stop. That being said, he did grow on me through out the book as his body started to reject the brainwashing and implants.
Why did Shreya risk herself and rescuer by lying about her ability to fly and steal high tech spaceship? Dummy
Why didn't Shreya tell Vox sooner that she could probably cure him and remove the cybernetic implants?
Why were they screwing- knowing a ship was chasing after them and closing in?
Cerise was sure happy go lucky and well adjusted after being a sex slave for 3 years.
Why is everyone so accepting of pleasure houses where women are forced into sexual slavery? Why is everyone okay with kidnapping human women??? Just don't get it but will continue series. Too invested in characters. lol

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Shreya was on another ship to rescue when she got kidnapped by a alien that was Big and muscular with bronze skin. Shreya was tied down to a chair with the alien that was flying the ship. She was working with research facility that was looking for hybrid cyborg. Now would be the time to get the book so you can find out what happen. I will be reading more from this author. Thank You for writing the books for us to read
Warrior alpha aliens whose lives are spent keeping the peace but for some it is in the front lines fighting an enemy who destroys worlds. Earth doesn’t know aliens exist except for the government. A deal was made, and women are given in exchange for protection. This fun tale sees women and warriors come together on a space station that is supposed to be a fantasy place. Except it may be stuck in a time that was relevant years ago. It takes its name from the TV series The Love Boat. There is much laughter and action to keep you occupied whilst enjoying this read. Journey along as they learn to navigate forging ahead to a union together and fighting the bad guys. I look forward to reading the rest of this sci fi romance series.
Tribute Brides of the Drexian Warriors is based on the large muscled humanoid aliens with tan skin who’ve spent their lives battling the enemy aliens called the Kronock. There had been a secret treaty with Earth for the past 30 years where the Drexians have been granted permission to abduct human females in exchange for protection against the Kronock. The only conditions are that the females be unattached (with no one to shed light on their disappearance) and that the Drexians keep the secrecy of alien existence. The tribute brides are taken to a space station behind Saturn called “The Loveboat” where they are mated (married) to their Drexian warriors. The war with the Kronock is still ongoing.
Written in third person perspective, Bound is book 6 in this series, and follows Drexian Warrior Vox and his human mate Shreya. This is one of my favorites in the series. Shreya is one of the reject brides who live in the working quarters because she rejected her matched warrior. She is a scientist and worked specifically with the Drexians to help Vox. Vox is a Drexian who was captured by the enemy Kronock and turned into a genetically engineered hybrid of Drexian, Kronock and cyborg. He kidnapped Shreya at the end of book 5 during an attempt to rescue him, and took her to a pleasure planet with the intention of fulfilling his orders and impregnating her with the next generation of hybrids. As time goes on, his injections are missed, reverting Vox back to Drexian and making him less Kronock, as he develops deep feelings for Shreya. He eventually chose to rescue Shreya and her new friend from the pleasure planet, escape the Kronock and allow the Drexians to help him by removing the cyborg technology that his captors installed. Unfortunately, removing the tech also removed his memories since being captured, including all the ones with Shreya.
Admittedly, the dialogue “tell me your mine, and only mine,” and “this pussy belongs to only me,” made me hotter than anything else Tana has written. I guess I’m all about that dominating possessive caveman behavior. Too bad the Drexians have a bad habit of not letting their actions back up their words in public due to honor. That wasn’t much of a problem in this book since Vox’s memory loss created all the drama needed.
Like all the other books, this couple have their ups and downs, back and forths. She fights the claiming, then he fights the claiming. She fights her feelings and he is a typical male idiot that makes poor decisions. One forgives the other way too easily, then things work out in their favor and they live happily ever after. I found my self completely heartbroken on Shreya’s behalf when he forgets his memories. She fell head-over-heels for him (Stockholm style) and he begged her not to abandon him when they caught up with the Drexians then boom!- doesn’t even remember who tf she is. I shed real tears for her fictional misery. I was so happy and relieved when his memory came back and how he frantically searched the station for her. So romantic.
I might need therapy, but that’s what books are for, right? Lol
I will continue the series since I do enjoy Tana Stone’s writing. Thankfully, the books aren’t painfully long. Although, I find it takes too long for the sexual encounters to take place and I find myself getting bored with the story at times. It might be better if the books were shorter.
Action packed PNR - very engaging and excellent escape for at least a little while
Contains subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, adult intimate scenes and violence.
This PNR has content that includes kidnapping / abduction, consensual / non consensual acts, death, etc. If this is not something you would enjoy, please do not purchase and then rate it lower than it deserves.
While this could be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend it be read in order for maximum reader satisfaction and to prevent spoilers.
This story also has a few grammatical issues, but nothing that I couldn’t easily interpret the author’s intent. The story universe is really coming to life with the continued additions of alien life forms (still trying to picture Sevre), and the characters have more depth than the earlier stories in the series.
If you have not read any of the previous stories, then please do not read any further, as it will contain spoilers.
Here is a high level overview of how the story begins:
Shreva is an independent woman on the Boat, as she rejected being part of the Tribute bride program. The Tribute program is run with permission from earth’s leaders in exchange for protection from their mutual enemy, the Kronock.
Shreva was a student studying microbiology when she was kidnapped to be part of the program. Unfortunately she led a very sheltered life, with overprotective parents who scared her in regards to trusting someone. Now she is trying to help study and stabilize Vox’s DNA.
Vox is a Drexian warrior that was captured as he was gathering intelligence about the Kronock’s weapon capabilities. He has been made into a Drexian-Kronock hybrid. He hears the voice of Commander Krav telling him what he needed to do. Krav’s mission has now become his and he would not fail.
Then Vox got a break when he was able to kidnap Shreva from the Drexian ship that came to capture him ... now he can complete his mission and maybe keep his captive?!
I am going to stop here so I don’t accidentally provide any spoilers.
Vox is a Drexian intelligence officer. He was captured by the Kronocks, tortured, brainwashed and experimented on. How he survived this is anyone’s guess. The Drexians are determined to bring him to “the boat” to see if they can reverse any of the Kronock DNA that was spliced into his own. Shreya is (or was) a microbiologist on earth. They have pulled her into their study of Vox’s experiments, as one of their own spies was able to steal this data. During the mission to rescue him, he escapes, kidnaps Shreya and intends to impregnate her, as the Kronocks have programmed him to do. But what the Kronocks weren’t counting on was his Drexian DNA assimilating the foreign DNA and rendering it impotent.
I loved this story and I loved this couple. Even though he’s a battle hardened warrior, there’s an innocence about Vox that I found captivating. He does fight the voices in his head telling him to take Shreya, by force if necessary, as he is beginning to have real feelings for her. Some of the flashbacks to his time in the Kronock lab and what he endured is heartbreaking.
Shreya is a strong female lead character. Although I’m always amazed when I read in books (in MANY books I might add) that the MFC actually thought she could pilot a space ship. Especially when she didn’t even know aliens existed a few months ago! So she does have a few moments of being dumb, but it was short lived and didn’t ruin the book for me.
I highly recommend this book and the series. But I recommend that you read the books in order.
Oh I'm really rather enjoyed this installment.it's nice to know no matter what the Kronock do the Drexian DNA will prevail! Vox was a deep undercover I intelligence officer who was captured and modified by the Kronock. We first encounter him in Kax's story and we continue to get glimpses of him in others. When Krav dies he believes he's made the ultimate weapon a Drexian \ Kronock hybrid. What he doesn't realize is that without regular DNA injections Drexian genes win the right every time. When he kidnaps Shreya a microbiologist who is and independent he realizes he wants her more than he wants to succeed in the Kronock's mission. When he acknowledges this he realizes that she his mate and he will do anything to protect her. Vox is wonderfully dominant in the sexiest of ways. Shreya is smart and very independent she can't understand why she's attracted to the Drexian hybrid she became an independent because she didn't want to be someone's mate. But as she really gets to know him, sees his struggles and she realizes that he's a good male who needs help and falls hopelessly inlove. There is lots of action, a pleasure planet, misunderstandings and a deliciously sweet ending. I'm looking forward to the next the captain of the boat and the lovely True.💖
This novel was cleanly written and well edited, with very few if any typos or wrong word choices. In order to understand the beginning of this novel, it would be best to read the previous series installment shortly before reading this novel. This novel was fun and entertaining. At first, when the hero and heroine are in the brothel, I was worried that this novel was going to contain elements of the hero giving the heroine the illusion of the right to consent, which I find incredibly problematic in romance novels, but I was relieved that no sexual activity happened until after the hero had committed to saving the heroine from the plans of the evil Kronnuck and she had given true enthusiastic consent. The tropes used in this novel were kidnapped bride and amnesia, which I know plenty of romance readers enjoy, including myself. This novel contains adventure elements, which I enjoy in sci-fi romance. This novel also ends on a satisfying HEA, with the epilogue or last chapter being a hook for the next couple in this series. A fun, entertaining read. It was great to relax with this book, a mug of tea, and a fire while I looked out onto several feet of snow outside the window!

Bound by Tana Stone is the sixth book in the Tribute Brides of Drexian Warriors series. This book is about Vox a Drexian Warrior who had been captured and medically and mentally changed into a hybrid cyborg warrior with his DNA infected with DNA from his Kronock captors. Vox had been brainwashed after his capture and sent on a mission to capture a human tribute bride. He succeeds in this part of his mission when he grabs a human woman named Shreya who is attempting to rescue him and escapes with her. However, then Vox then decides to not exactly follow the orders the Kronock gave him and takes Shreya somewhere he believes no one will find them. This story is full of surprises and twists that you do not expect. It is a wonderful alien romance involving a human woman who refuses to give in or give up and a confused Drexian Warrior who doesn’t quite know what to do with her. I loved the indomitable spirit of Shreya and the way she eventually gets her way. This book is an amazing addition to this awesome romance series any romance reader will love. Bound is an exciting not to be missed tale of alien capture, escape, and romance.
Human Shreya had rejected the idea of being a tribute bride to a Drexian Warrior and is fine as she is even though they are gorgeous. However, when part Drexian and part cyborg Vox takes her captive after being turned into a monster by the enemy his only concern is completing the mission he was given to mate with a human even if it means he keeps her locked up with him on an alien pleasure planet until she submits. With time away from the aliens who were controlling him as well as time with Shreya Vox is getting more frequent pains in his head as well as behaving more like a Drexian would. Can he move past the aliens who corrupted him and listen to his heart before he does something the old him would regret?
I really enjoyed this story with the inner battle between the enemy, the Drexian and Shreya doing all she could to avoid being mated by force. I really enjoyed the power that Shreya had by thinking clearly and doing all she could to remind him of who and what he was. I really enjoyed the ending of this book and the pain that they both had to go through in order to succeed. Easy to read and understand. Contains explicit sexual content.
Vox finds and keeps the human mate he deserves! by sewsummore
Vox had been captured by the Kronock and had his DNA altered with Kronock DNA making him a an hybrid loyal to them. His mission was to capture a human female and impregnate her with his hybrid DNA making it easier for them to capture and colonise Earth. Shreya was the woman he captured and although the Kronock mind control was weakening he still intended to mate with her until the time when his Drexian DNA returned then she would become his mate. This was an interesting and enjoyable read as are all in this series. The Drexians were an old and noble warrior race that fought to protect the weaker races, Vox had vowed to Shreya that he would never force her to mate, even when he was under the control of his enemies. He richly deserved to have Shreya as his mate for all time!

Needs a trigger warning, big time, but otherwise, a good story.
I've given every book in this series 5 stars, but I can't do that fire this one, which is sad, because I loved the story and the characters enough for 5 stars. The lack of any kind of trigger warning almost made me drop it to 1 start though. The story does involve sexual assault, though the FMC "enjoys" it. Newsflash: a body responding to basic physical manipulation does not negate the words 'Stop', 'Don't do this', or 'No.' If a person says no, and the person continues touching them, that's sexual assault. Not to mention the fact that the FMC soreness the first third of the book under the constant that of rape and forced pregnancy. Let me reiterate, I loved the book... eventually. I could have loved the book from page 1 if I had been warned about the potential triggers and been prepared, rather than being caught off-guard and triggered unwittingly. It's irresponsible and needs to be addressed.
I love this book. My favorite of the series. Really liked that Vox got his redemption story.
Vox kidnaps Shreya from the Drexian rescue ship and takes her to Lymora III, a pleasure planet, in order to mate with her and continue Krav's plan to overtake Earth. Without getting his usual injections from the Kronok Vox starts to become more Drexian. Shreya and Cerise escape the bordello and try to get to the shop but are caught by aliens. Vox saves them and decided to flee the Kronok so they cannot get their hands on Shreya. The Drexians find them and take them to the Boat where his implant is removed. The surgery affects his memory and he forgets Shreya. Cerise helps him get it back and they have their HEA. The next book with the Captain's story looks like another great read.

The poor Drexian warrior who was captured, tortured, and genetically modifies by the Kronock now gets his story. Drexians may have defeated Kronock Generasl Krav, but Krav's depraved mission goes on in the brainwashed mind of the captive Drexian warrior. Shreya, one of the independents who has refused to be a tribute bride, is a scientist who believes she can reverse his damage. When he kidnaps her to fulfill the Kronock "mission," romantic sparks fly. He has to decide if his "mission" is more important than his mate - and the suspenseful lead up to his decision is page-turning good, and steamy as well. Tana Stone's sexy Drexian mates series continues , and I can't wait to see what's next. I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Tabs Stone always brings the reader headlong into her stories. This time it is Shreya who, though she falls foul of the programmed Grecian Orinoco hybrid. Yet you cannot keep a Drexian warrior down no matter how much the enemy think they have conditioned him. Yes Box has been altered and programmed but his very nature is true Grecian and without the medication to suppress that side of him, the ironical are in a losing battle and so if Box when he meets his true mate, the lovely Asian scientist, Shreya. His desire for her overrides his desire to follow his duty. Eventually he is so smitten with this Indian beauty that he swears to keep her safe Denmark who would harm her ... Including himself!! Another magical take if love amongst the stars!! A great read!!
This is one truly great story about the "tribute brides" their rejections and life. Some of these ladies are really strong and strong willed also. They are firm believers of justice and helping others - mostly... This story is right along those lines and is also really fun to read. The characters are really well written and the storyline is fabulous. Of course I can only judge by my own feelings about the story and am very happy to give it fantastic five stars!!! I only hope that this review will help you decide if you want to try this series... I am certain that after reading one of them the rest will also be aquired... Happy reading everyone.

This was an awesome book that I really enjoyed. I love this author she writes amazing story's that always keep my interest from beginning to end, and makes me want my own Drexian Warrior!!! The story and characters grabbed me from the beginning and I couldn't stop reading. I loved Vox and Shreya and watching them grow together, they were well written and went well together. I also loved Cerise and hope she gets her one story. I found this book amazing with great word building making me feel apart of the story and watching it unfold in front of me. A definite must read for any fan and I can't wait to read more from this author!!!

Another good installment in the Drexian Warriors series. Shreya is another "independent" who rejected her matched Drexian. Vox is a Drexian who was captured by the Kronock.
I liked Shreya's fiestiness, although she developed feelings for Vox really quickly (which is par for the course in these books). Vox's character was pretty complex as he was dealing with the Drexian nature (honor, loyalty, protectiveness) warring with the Kronock nature (unfeeling and uncaring).
Decent twist to break up our couple prior to them finding their HEA.
While you don't need to read previous books to enjoy this one, it's a better read, IMO, to have read Forbidden as this story picks up where that one ended.
Shreya is kidnapped by the very person she went to help, the Drexian/Kronock hybrid. She is attracted to Vox in a weird way. She shouldn't want him as a mate because he wants to "breed" her in order to assimilate Earth for the Kronock. Vox doesn't know why he is having problems following the plan that Krav set forth for him. He is having debilitating headaches and feels as if Shreya is his and no one else's. I wasn't sure how this book would go. But after several chapters I started to enjoy it. The house on Lumoria III was definitely different and I loved Cerise. If you haven't started this series yet I recommend starting from the beginning so you can understand what is happening.
Vox takes Shreya from a Drexian rescue ship and takes her to Lymora III which is a pleasure planet. He plans to mate with her and continue Krav's plant to conquer Earth. Problem is that Vox isn't taking his injections and he's starting to become more Drexian. The plot of the story is really good and follows along with the other stories in the series. The Character were well written and I was really happy for them when they got their HEA. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series. Another great alien story of the Tribute Brides of the Drexian Warriors it’s full of action, adventure, danger, suspense, steamy scenes and so much more to keep you entertained and turning the pages. Sorry guys I’m not going to give any spoilers because the blurb says it all I did have a bit of trouble with a couple of the scenes but I guess it’s all part of the story with a psychotic cyborg who kidnaps a woman and is forced by his cyborg implant to impregnate the woman he kidnapped. I enjoyed this story it’s a great read.
This well-written standalone action-romance story has some very steamy scenes in an alien bordello. The characters in this book are well-fleshed out with muscles for miles and are very protective. The story is action-packed and full of fun and interesting in it's interactions of the characters. This is the sixth book in Tana Stone’s sci-fi romance Tribute Brides of the Drexian Warriors series and is a must read.

Tana's series "Tribute Brides of the Drexian Warriors" is by far the best alien-human erotic romance series I've ever read. The characters are fleshed out beautifully, the plots are written wonderfully, and even the sex scenes are tasteful yet HOT! This book in the series is NO exception. I really look forward to all of Tana's books and recommend them to mature readers who love this genre. Keep it up Ms. Stone!

Ya’ll Shreya gets taken by the Drexian-Kronock cyborg, and because he is all business, he takes her too pleasure planet…yup, it be like that sometimes. She still hopes to save him, and little by little his Drexian side takes back over.
Safe read, with a couple that really had my heart, all the emotions with these two. Favorites from previous books, and we get a new favorite too, our sweet Cerise, adore her so much, Epilogue and hea. Like I said…just reading right through this book crack series.
