4.5 stars. I actually met the author at a NYSSMA conference 2 years ago, I attended his session, and I immediately bought this book after he mentioned it that day. I haven’t gotten around to reading it until now, but I wish I got to it sooner!
I will be using this as a resource for both teaching in the classroom and education policy work in the future. I didn’t 100% agree with everything but that just means I got to read another perspective, which is always good. Overall, it was well written and extremely creative + connected.
