Real Managers Revisited

Rate this book
Fred Luthans’s book is a milestone contribution to management research. The size of his sample, the duration of his study, the variety of measures he used, and his robust conclusions suggest the book should be a citation classic. Luthans’s book reported the first major study to point out that organizations often promote people into leadership positions using the wrong criteria. This message seems to still hold true today, and continues to serve as a strong empirical backdrop for this revisitation.
