Broken Mirrors

If the first story hadn't been so strong, I would have rated this book 1 star. Ashawnti's story was well written with a good storyline. The prologue was excellent and was a good lead in to the story. The only thing wrong with her work was having it included in an anthology with authors who can't write or don't take pride in their work.
The next two stories were horribly written, lacked editing and I actually quit the third story in the middle of the first chapter. How's Bloom talking about loving and raising his son to be a man when he's dealing drugs?
I can't take authors seriously when they release such poor work. One even wrote 'she MUSTARD up the energy....' What??? Not even laughable - go back to school. Don't try to write about domestic violence when you can barely write a kid's primer. This trend of releasing shoddy, unedited work is an insult to the reader.

Never again

Domestic Violence is no joke. Man or woman should not be beaten on. First time is the hardest to leave from
but that is when you have to get out. It will continue no matter what you think.

Domestic violence is Hell

I read these stories seeking to understand what causes one to stay where there is abuse and pain. I see so many exits but the abused comes up with more feeble than viable excuses not to take them. I hate all of the pain.

Review

Three stories with the same scenario which entails domestic violence. Both men and women are victims of domestic violence. Once they do it one time, it will happen again and again. Get out of that relationship as soon as possible before it’s too late.

So many ways

There’s so many different types of abuse in this world and no one knows how it will affect anyone, but God.

The first story by Ashawnti T. was my favorite. The other two authors have potential but need a bit more polishing.

Short Stories

The stories were very good my only issue is the mistakes that were being made by spelling alot of the words wrong. Besides that the book was a great read.

Great read

It was unfortunate that these domestic violence victims sustained so much abuse. But its important to know the signs of abuse and when you see them. Leave!!!
