Trevor's self-image issues from childhood bullies have followed him into adulthood. As a result, he has never experienced a relationship, or love. But he sure wants to, especially with the wolf alpha next door. One tiny problem: Jason can’t stand dogs and Trevor owns a doggie day care. Besides that, Trevor has trouble believing that anyone as hot as Jason could ever want someone as plain as him.
Omega needed… no pets allowed…
Jason has heard all the jokes about being a wolf who is afraid of dogs but his phobia is no laughing matter. When he scents the sassy omega next door and realizes Trevor is his fated mate, he knows he’ll need to overcome his fears if he’s going to claim his man. When Trevor is attacked, his inner alpha emerges and Jason will do anything to keep his mate safe.
As the pair get closer and their lives and families entwine - and expand - will Jason and Trevor ever learn to trust? Or will they let old fears win?
I have only one really persistent question after reading this book. If Trevor was so hung up on his weight and not being the "ideal" omega, why did he never once compare himself to Keifer at any point in this story? It would be completely natural for him to think that Jason is hot, but to assume that Keifer is Jason's type - seeing as they have a child together - and to have some insecurities there. And yet, that didn't ever happen.
Beyond that, I don't know that I understand why Trevor assumed that Jason could overcome the trauma and PTSD by simply getting to know Bonnie and Clyde. I found it to be really inconsiderate and completely lacking in empathy for everyone to just tell Jason to get over it. Having said that, I liked that it sounded as if the magic of having a fated mate helped him to heal. I loved that Jason and Trevor were both able to find strength in each other's
Other than wanting to kick Jason’s butt for being a dick, I enjoyed this book. I think it could’ve used at least one more editing session it wasn’t too difficult to get through. On to book #5 Happy reading!
Doggone Daddy was my first book by Liam Kingsley. I really liked this story. Trevor was so cute and Jason really complemented him. Can't wait to read more by this author.
haha this one made me smile and sad at the same time. at times i wanted to throw my kindle.. how could fate do this.. but then it was amazing.. and complete and happy.
This one didn't quite work for me. I really hate that because this was the book in the series I was most looking forward to. I've adored Trevor from the previous books so I was eager to see him find his own HEA. Unfortunately when he did it was with Jason, who I definitely did not like. I tried. I even started warming up to him a time or two, but then he'd do something to hurt Trevor and I went right back to the way it was before. There's being an alpha and there's being an obnoxious, controlling jerk. Instead of hoping for Trevor and Jason to work through their issues, I was finding myself wishing Trevor would take off and not look back.
Even so, I'm loving this series. I just wasn't a fan of this particular book. I'm obviously the odd one out if other reviews are to go by.
Trevor has had a crush on Jason for a while now, but he always seems to be grumpy and disapproving of him and his puppy daycare. He has always wanted to be a shifter and Jason is everything that he wants to be, hot, slim and a wolf shifter, having been bullied all his school life about being fat, Trevor has a lot of self image issues, on top of all that, he is also human, so why would Jason want to have anything to do with him? Then one day out of the blue, Jason starts looking at Trevor, smiling and being nice to him. Then his dogs jump on his daughter's dress and tears it. But still, Jason is nice to him and there is just something different in the way he is acting towards him. When he is attacked in his shop, nothing surprises him more than Jason staying by his side and taking care of him. To top things off, his heat is coming in stronger than ever and he just cant seem to stop it.
Jason has been hurt badly in his past by a cheating partner and he has trouble believing that he wont be cheated on again, so its best to stay single, but its lonely. He has always been terrified of dogs since he was young and was bitten by a dog and ended up in hospital due to complications from the bite, Trevor works just across the lane from him and he has those blasted dogs. All they do is bark and who knows, they could turn on him some day. But the day he takes his daughter to say hello to the dogs next door, they jump on her and tear her dress that his mother made especially for her. He is angry with the dogs and Trevor for not controlling them. But the wind changes while he is next to Trevor and he smells the most wonderful smell. Trevor is his mate.
Will Jason be able to get over his fear of dogs so he can have a relationship with Trevor, or will his fear keep his fated mate from him and both be miserable for the rest of their lives?
I loved reading this book, I laughed and cried over the torment these two put themselves through. I really love the way Liam Kingsley writes. Well worth the read and you wont be disappointed. I cant wait to read the next chapter in this series......

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the enemies to lovers romance between Jason and Trevor. Trevor is a human omega who owns a doggy daycare and knows about wolf shifters because his best friend is mated to one. Jason is a wolf shifter who owns a florist shop next door to Trevor's daycare and Jason hates the dogs, he is afraid of them because he was bitten as a child and got very sick. Jason is always after Trevor to quiet the dogs down and that leads to a lot of fights. Jason is also a single father to his daughter that he shares custody with his best friend Keifer, her other father. They are best friends and had a drunken hook up. Trevor has always had a crush on Jason, but knows Jason hates him. When they were all outside one afternoon, Jason got close to Trevor and realized he was his fated mate. Jason wasn't sure how to handle that information, and he fled. Trevor was later attacked in his shop and Jason came to his rescue. Jason wanted to care for Trevor and protect him, making Trevor even more confused as to why. Jason had to tell Trevor they were fated mates, and they began seeing each other and getting to know one another better, but Trevor had two dogs that Jason was scared of and didn't want to be around. They had to try and make things work, but Trevor loved his dogs like children and wanted Jason to accept them. I loved this story. I loved Trevor. I think he was adorable with Jason's daughter. I think Jason had to work out his fears and try to get past them. I think Jason was a great father and he wanted to be happy, but he was a little scared. Another great one.
A very enjoyable, heartwarming Mpreg romance which is the forth book in the series “Timberwood Cove” & can be read as a standalone. The plot is delightfully well-written & entertaining, there are some unexpected situations that keeps the reader’s attention quite firmly until the end. The likable characters are quite unique & develop good chemistry as they go on their emotional journey of discovery while they continue to develop throughout the story-line. There is good support from the secondary characters. There is: a alpha (Jason) who is the owner of a flower shop (Petal Pushers) has a phobia about dogs becomes attracted to a rather innocent but feisty human omega (Trevor) who happens to have a doggie daycare (Pampered Paws), Jason’s precocious daughter (Stacia), adorable huskies, humans, wolf shifters, pack mates, friendship, dragon shifters, some twists, drama, intrigue, action, adventure, attacks, threats, danger, villainous rogues, violence, conflict, memories, self esteem issues, memories, loneliness, insecurities, confrontations, verbal conflict, fated mates, verbal banter, surprises, dog vandalism, disagreements, anger, unease, frustration, complications, ultimatums, decisions, emotional turmoil, heartache, realization, guilt, advice, apologies, compromises, declaration, love, contentment, steamy scenes & a happy conclusion for this couple with a very interesting ending.
I loved this book! It pulled me in from the start and would't let me out till the end. Welcome back to Timberwood Cove. All of our friends are back. Including some new ones. And a dreaded enemy rears its ugly head. What a great addition to the series! It has it all: wolves and Dragons and dogs and adorable kids and mpreg and babies. Oh, did I mention the really hot sex? Ya gotta love it! This is Jason and Trevor's story. Trevor has always believed shifters exist. His best friend is a wolf after all. Trevor runs a doggie daycare. He never thinks he will find someone to love let alone a shifter mate. But there is an iron will hidden under his skin. Jason is a wolf shifter, single dad and florist. He has an irrational fear of dogs. Problem: his daughter loves dogs, and he is unreasonably attracted to the owner of the doggie daycare. Throw rogue dragons into the midst and things heat up. Jason and Trevor will get their HEA. The road there is bumpy, but worth the ride. But while their story has a happy ending, the series continues. I can't wait to tread the next book to see what happens. If you haven't read the first three books, I recommend you do. You will need glad you did. This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex, and is intended for mature readers only.
This story is the best in the series so far! Trevor stole my heart from the beginning! I loved his cute, sweet over the top personality and his style! I needed to re-listen to this book when I was done because it was just so good. I needed a second round!! I also really liked Jason, I thought he was a great match for Trevor. However, I didn't like that everyone was trying to rush him to get over his fear of dogs. It's just something that needs time especially with such a deep fear that stems back to childhood. I feel like Trevor over reacted, but what saved that part of the story for me was that fact that Trevor was pregnant, blaming it on the hormones helped. I also really enjoyed the drama in Trevor's store in the beginning of this story, I didn't know I needed a little bit more of a twist until this book. I can't wait to hear more about the dragon shifters throughout the rest of the series! Also, the steamy sex scene were so damn good! I loved the happy conclusion for this couple with a very intriguing and beautiful ending. (heart melting for sure)... I can't say enough good things about the narrator! Guillaume is just so amazing!!! I could listen to his voice for hours!!
Loved this, and loved the fact that we got to read Trevors HEA after hearing about him in the previous story. Jason is an Alpha and already has a daughter, the result of a one night stand with his best friend. He owns a flower shop, called Petal pushers but is contantly frustrated by the yapping of the dogs coming from the Pampered Paws doggie daycare centre that backed up to his building. His fear of dogs come from his childhood when he was attacked by a dog. Its not that he dosnt like Trevor, just the constant yapping that he hears all the time. However one day going out to confront Trevor he is assulted with a lovely smell of strawberries and cream, and then he knew he was his fated mate. Trevor suddenly realised he was going into heat, so he rushes in to take his pills, but the next day he is assulted by two big burley men, coming to in the hospital he notes that Jason is there and he is going to be going home with him. He really wants Jason but can they both be together after all Jason still gets annoyed with the dogs. And those rogue dragons are causing trouble yet again. Another must read by Liam Kingsley, this Author really does write exceptional stories. Five stars
How do you love a man that owns a dog shop when you are afraid of dogs? Trevor owns a doggie daycare. He considers himself overweight with a pouchy tummy creating major self-esteem issues. He's never had a boyfriend, but wants one. He's been crushing on Jason, his business next door neighbor, who owns the flower shop. Jason gets annoyed with the noise from the dogs next door. His real problem is he is afraid of dogs. He was bitten by a rabid dog when he was a child and had a prolonged hospital stay. Jason, wolf, got his heart broken when the man, Gary whom he thought was his mate, cheated on him, in their bed. He realizes Trevor is his mate and that he'll have to step up. Jason's daughter, Stacia is an added bonus, she is adorable! And Stacia, wants a dog. Trevor experienced an event that strongly affected Jason. Does Jason work on his fear of dogs to be with Trevor? Does Jason get Stacia a dog? Will Trevor accept a mating and all that goes with it? These two had some steep challenges thrown at them. Did they work together or let their personal baggage hold them down? Good story. Good fit within the series. Well done! I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.
To my ratings: A 3,5* is clicked with a 4* but in review marked as 3,5*:
5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile’ or ‘Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the the kids’ series from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or ‘Liberty’ from Seth King), it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books and Davidson Kings 'Haven Hart'-series) it's like an A
3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in hospitals). I can recommend them definitively! It's like an B+
3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader (2-3 times a year), it's like a B
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-reader (I wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok) It's like a C-, D
1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolute NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole line, dismissed, repeat the class
This is the fourth book in the Timberwood Cove Series and can be read as a standalone.
I’ve enjoyed every single book in this series but I have to admit, this one, so far, is definitely my favourite. I’ve been eagerly looking forward to Trevor’s story and the author didn’t disappoint.
Trevor’s vibrant, bubbly and down to earth personality made him likeable and realistic. His insecurities about his weight made him easier to connect to especially, when you bear in mind how much pressure some people feel to look a certain way, in today’s society.
Jason gets his priorities straight pretty quickly and I didn’t blame him under the circumstances. There was a moment where I was calling Jason every name under the sun. Did he redeem himself? Read it and see for yourself.
Jason and Trevor had a beautiful connection and explosive chemistry.
A fantastic story was cute huskies, adorable kids and a romance that literally made my toes curl.

4.5☆ Sweet & entertaining Trevor is a human omega who owns the doggie daycare, he is insecure yet feisty, and has a crush on his work neighbor. Jason is an alpha wolf shifter, a florist with his own business, has a sweet, sassy, adorable daughter, and is annoyed by the business next to his. A frightening event brings them closer but they both have issues from the past that surfaces during their relationship and causes some serious issues. Once they finally set themselves straight, their genuine connection, chemistry, and sweet love leads them to the family and HEA they have both longed for. Real, likeable characters and a fast paced, interesting story will keep your attention. This book focuses on Trevor and Jason but also continues the background story of the trouble dragons are causing - and escalating - foor the pack and the town.

Ohhh...I've been waiting for Trevor and Jacob's story. That's just what we get in Doggone Daddy, the fourth book in Liam Kingsley's Timberwood Cove series.
Seriously, Jason's a florist who helps people have fairytale weddings but he doesn't believe in true love. Love it! He's a wolf shifter who's terrified of dogs, while Trevor owns the doggie daycare next door.
It is great watching these men who go from enemies to lovers. I love the conflict that Jason has. And omg, it's just fun and sweet! The men are perfectly electric together, full of tenderness as well as heat. Trevor being a is a virgin omega adds greatly to the fun.
I can't get enough of this wonderful town of shifters. The men are all amazing, and the kids are absolutely adorable. The writing is superb and I love everything about it.
Doggone Daddy is everything I could have asked for. Liam Kingsley's Timberwood Cove series is a must read for any fan of shifter romances.
This book kept me company when I wasn't able to sleep last night. It was lengthy with some surprises that always seemed to catch me just as I was dropping off. I really did enjoy the story. It had all the ingredients I like to read in books that take place in an Omegaverse (of Timberwood Cove), there were Wolf shifters, and most Humans weren't aware that shifters existed. An Alpha Wolf that is co-parenting with his best friend, their daughter was smart & adorable. Angst abounds. An Alpha Wolf is afraid of dogs, and who does his fated mate turn out to be? A Human Omega who runs a Doggy Daycare and owns two Huskies. The cherry on the top is his daughter wants a dog and his best friend, her Omega Dad plans to get her one. The Alpha works in a non-traditional job. He owns a Florist shop and is very talented at making wedding flower arrangements including bouquets.
The reader learns all of this in the first few pages. Just imagine how much more happens.
This was a very interesting, heart-wrenching and heartwarming Mpreg Alpha/Omega Romance. This well-thought out forth book in the series “Timberwood Cove” can be read as a standalone with a delightful plot which is well-written & entertaining. The characters have a chemistry that is unique but have some misunderstandings and self-image issues that make this story realistic. This story is unique, unexpected, emotional, and has HEA. The secondary characters also help make this story flow and make sense. This must read story shows friendship, twists/turns, drama, intrigue, action, adventure, conflict, self esteem issues, PTSD, loneliness, insecurities, fated mates, frustration, love, steam and a HEA.

This is the great story of Trevor and Jason. Jason is keeping busy with work in his flower shop and co-parenting his little girl with Keifer, his best friend. He has been scared of dogs for a very long time and is frustrated daily with the doggy daycare right next door to his shop. He is enjoying his life as it is as he doesn't believe he'll ever find his fated mate. Trevor has been secretly crushing on his sometimes rude neighbor for years and he can't believe how he reacts when he comes up close and personal with Jason. Jason is surprised to find that he has located his mate, but can their relationship work if Trevor has two dogs? The characters are sweet, complex, and genuine. The storyline has everything! Suspense, ups and downs, passion and twists. Great read!

How can you not love a story about a man fearful of dogs who discovers his fated mate is the owner of the doggy daycare next door? Jason has to come to terms with his fear of dogs and Trevor has to overcome his body image issues. They obviously do, and get their happy ever after. I always enjoy this author because there are always spunky children, often girls with loving fathers who encourage their independence and they find the perfect mate who also loves their children. There is often a crime committed by an evil villain so I get a bit of mystery and get to hiss the villain and feel the satisfaction from seeing them get their comeuppance. I read the last book in the series first, and had no trouble starting out of sequence. A nice presentation of the enemies to lovers trope. You can take these in any order that appeals to you and enjoy them with no trouble.
Jason runs a florist and behind his shop Trevor runs a doggie daycare. Alpha Jason co-parents his daughter Stacia with his friend Keifer and runs the florist that had been in his family for years.Stacia tells him she wants a dog but Jason has a problem with them since he was bitten by on as a child. Behind the florist is Pampered Paws a doggie daycare run by Omega Trevor who has two dogs of his own. Jason has on several occasions asked him to keep the noise from the dogs down. After an incident with Jason and his daughter Trevor goes into heat and Jason notices his scent and is sure he is his fated mate. Then two men attack Trevor in his daycare.

Another fantastic addition to the Timberwood Cove series and this is Jason’s and Trevor’s story. Jason is a alpha wolf who has a fear of dogs it comes from when he was a kid he was attacked by a dog so he gets really annoyed with the yapping of the dogs from the doggy day care centre so he goes over to confront the owner a human named Trevor but once Jason scents Trevor he knows that he is his mate. Will Jason be able to get over his fear of dogs to make a life with Trevor and what happens when Trevor is attacked?. This is a wonderful story with action, adventure, danger, suspense, drama, passion and so much more to keep you entertained and turning the pages and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
An alpha who is afraid of dogs finding out that his fated mate is running a dog-day-care and owns two huskies.... Although the attraction is instant once they are standing close enough, the fear the alpha has is a recurring theme and causing trouble. Overcoming the fear is what this book is mostly about - a nice story, with an extra touch of human interest, as the alpha is also already father to a small child. A fairly typical plot for Mr. Kingsley, and as ususal, the book is well-written and despite the topic quite entertaining at times. I loved the omega's character in this story and the way he clicked with the daughter. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Third act breakups on romance novels can be done very well this just wasn’t. I’m sick of one of the main characters acting absolutely, disgustingly deplorably and then getting forgiven on a few paragraphs. Where is the apology that actually means something. The other character was so good through the book then turned to milktoast as soon as his guy came back. If someone treats you THAT badly you don’t just turn tail and everything is fine. Seriously disappointing story then the author threw in a random C-section for no reason with no explanation as to why anyone would “just choose that”. Terrible to make it seem like that major surgery was no big deal and with ZERO reason to the story.
I fell in love with Trevor and Jason right from the start. Fated mates, opposites, but fate doesn’t mess up and it also brings together when they least expect it. But I knew their story wouldn’t be easy.
Jason fear of dogs and Trevor’s insecurities can’t be helped so these two will have to fight for the love that they know is forever. Their is no going back and they will have to find their way back to each other.
I knew their story was gonna be great but it blew me out of the water. It was so good I couldn’t put it down once I started it! Amazing read

Much like with the previous three installments, I liked Trevor and Jason, their story was pretty good although a little much on some of the drama, and it was fun seeing the other characters I’ve grown fond of.
However, I’m still struggling with inconsistencies and poor grammar. Also, the author’s bio lists the Pacific Northwest as being home but having lived there myself, many things about this locale (supposedly set in that area) were completely wrong. Also, a lot of the language flow and syntax had heavy British overtones and made me suspicious, not to mention the hospital scenes definitely were written by someone who is more familiar with a universal system vs the American one.

Trevor owned a doggy daycare. Jason owned a flower shop. Jason is deathly afraid of dogs. His only problem is that his fated mate owns the daycare and owns two dogs. They slowly learn about each other. They both have a hard time letting the other know of their emotions. After an attack Trevor was afraid to be alone. They finally told each other their love for the other. In the end after Trevor has their son, they have a claiming ceremony. They became a family, Jason, Trevor, Jason's daughter Stacia, their new son and the two dogs.

Jason is an alpha wolf shifter who does not like dogs and runs a flower shop. Trevor is a human omega that knows about shifters and runs a doggie daycare across the street from the flower shop that Jason owns. Trevor has two huskies that he keeps with him at all times. Trevor is attacked and Jason comes to his rescue. Jason had a bad experience with dogs when he was young and is not comfortable around dogs anymore. Jason realizes that Trevor is his fated mate. Will Jason and Trevor be able to make it work? Can Jason get over his fear of dogs to try and win Trevor back?

I love the other books in this series but this one rubbed me the wrong way. I personally didn't like that because he was an alpha his fears (even over a dog,) just got pushed aside like they weren't valid. The whole book everyone kept telling the alpha to deal with it but no one told Trevor to try and compromise on the issue either and that's just wrong. In my head toxic masculinity was all in this book. Trevor complained about not compromising who he was and his love for dogs but made his alpha compromise himself. Sadly I did not enjoy it. But I do enjoy your other books.
Another great add to the series. Jason and Trevor's epic story is next, Trev is my FAVORITE character so far so I was so excited to see how they come together. Poor Trevor has low self-esteem so it's hard to open up. Jason's fear was kinda weird to me, I felt it was more on the just don't like dogs period side because he didn't act afraid just annoyed. As someone who considers their pets family (like Trev) you want to cheer Trev on as he stands up for himself and his dogs. These two are sexy and sweet at the same time but like the others have some serious issues to deal with before they can have it all. Can't wait for the next. I voluntarily reviewed an 'Advance Author’s Copy' of this book.
