I think this is a good micro-chap. I read Opportunity Cost first and wasn’t flattered, and on reading No Line Except have been disappointed in ways. Reason? I’ve got a question running in my head: “Why would you use poems from your micro-chap only to create a chapbook? As is, move from 13 to just 20 pages?” I think it is lazy writing at best. However, 3 stars to this one—because there’s a poem here, Self-Portrait as a Continuous Line, which I think is worth praise after everything I’ve now read twice.

Gorgeous, this was a beautiful read with fierce attention to detail and mastery of form.
