If you're going to sell me a story based on the premise that a girl with no confidence but mad drawing skills teams up with the ghost of a mangaka, then tell me the story of a girl learning from the ghost of a mangaka!!!
This story does everything but tell the story it sets out to tell.
The ghost and main character are barely in either book (he doesn't do anything and she has the flu for most of the first book), with the rest of the story focusing on characters who don't matter.
The first novel feels like a set up for the second, and the second feels like it forgot what story it had set out to tell.
I have no idea why the author decided to tell this story. So disappointed.
