Keller Peters lives to piss off his uppity mother. What could the woman expect who judges people by their careers instead of their heart? It's one thing for her to criticize his career as a life couch to those trying to get off drugs and be productive citizens in the world. He could handle her. He'd been doing it his whole life, but her constant rudeness where his best friend and roommate is concerned is about to send him over the edge, especially since Webber Bines is the best person he knows. What better way is there to make the woman straight climb the wall with her head on backwards and hissing, than to bring home his new "boyfriend" who also happens to be the roommate who works "mall security and has that hobby with the heavy weights."
Webber Bines knows posing as his best friend and roommates boyfriend for Thanksgiving is probably a terrible idea, but he's never succeeded in telling Keller no since the day he met him, so it comes as no surprise to find himself at Keller's parent's home over Thanksgiving. It is, however, very surprising to find himself the recipient of a long, dirty kiss on the couch in the middle of the living room.
That one kiss changes everything for the two as feelings they were both denying come screaming to the surface, demanding to be acknowledged. They keep telling themselves they are going to keep their hands to themselves, but that's a lot harder said than done, and things aren't helped when Keller decides to pull the fake boyfriend gig back out in order to scare off a man who seems hell bent on ruining Webber's family Christmas… because that is what friends are for. Not because he's dying to be Webber's boyfriend again, even if it is only fake.
Webber is Book 8 in the Training Days series about men finding love in and out of the gym.
OMG... the author once again saved the best story for last in this series! Webber and Keller were just perfection! Scorching hot in the bedroom, funny as hell and sweet as sugar! Absolutely adored them and this book!
Keller was too funny; I loved how he was with Webber. I loved how Webber accepted Keller's craziness and his family too. I'd go nuts if Violet and Katie ended up together lol. This was an awesome quick read.
Yep, yep... this one really worked for me! Keller and Webber are both so adorable together, and we shouldn't hold it against them that it took forever for them to realize that there was more to them than a wonderful friendship! I think most enduring romantic relationships begin with friendship... well, mine did anyways! Over 40 years together with my best friend and husband! I know the Keller and Webbers of this world will always make it work because nothing is better than loving and being loved by your best friend for life! *grin*
I loved how in this book, you got right into Keller and Webber's established roommate/friendship. Keller has invited Webber to go with him for Thanksgiving to not only become a barrier between his mother and himself, but also to made his mother mad. I love how you get a sense of how close the two men are and when you see them actually act on their feelings, it becomes steamy and loving at the same time. A great read and a wonderful end to the series!!
Keller is irreverent and fun. Webber is adorable. They make the perfect game couple that want to be a real couple. Cardio was never so SEXY! If you are looking for a fun read with two men in love but afraid to lose their friendship, but jump in headfirst anyway, you will enjoy this book.
These two are fun and sweet together. I really loved this series because of the sass, love and found family affection and protective way they look out for each other The only thing that tweaked me a little was continuity between a couple of books. I mean Wellston had a brother and mom in Joey's book but was an only child in his book. Other than that I enjoyed them.
I absolutely loved this friends to lovers story it was both sweet and funny. I can't wait to read more if her books. I have loved all her series that she has written.
