Pursuit is Continual
Pastor Dave has written the most influential devotional "how-to" guide to pursuing God through a time of fasting and prayer. This results in a deeper walk and relationship with the Lord. One of my main takeaways from this is that it inspired me to make seeking the Lord a daily habit, setting aside time each day to sit in God's presence and read His Word. Doing so can't help but draw you closer to Him and give you a keener ear to hear His voice. Highly recommend that everyone who calls themself a Christ-Follower get this book which is filled with scriptural references and wisdom.

Very helpful during my recent 21-day fast. I will keep this on my shelf for a re-read when I fast again.
Side note - I purchased this as a Kindle book and it was very hard for me to read on my phone. It came in a format so the pages were like PDFs instead of the standard kindle format. I would much prefer the kindle format - if I would have known I would’ve purchased the paper copy.

Such a good fasting devotional you can read again and again, which is in fact what TFH does at the beginning of every year as a church-wide fast.
Something that sets this book apart is how much intention is not only behind it, but explained to help you understand how important fasting can be to your faith.

Great Read!!
I absolutely loved this book it helped me in the right time!! I never did anything like this before but oh the amazing things that began to unfold!! God is so good and my pursuit and journey in Christ has only begun!!

Helpful Guide
I found the book engaging. It helped me stay focus on days I wasn't sure what to pray. I would recommend this book.

Great book to accompany me on my yearly 21 day fast. Great topics to get your connection with God going and to get you to a closer relationship with the Father. Loved it!

Radical and powerful. Confident, expectant faith, so different from what I learned growing up. I need to spend more time with these thoughts and ideas and truths to let them penetrate and change my thinking, how I pray, and how I live.
