Lots of Info, But Not Enough at Times
While astrology and tarot have been more my metaphysical jams, I've always had a peripheral interest in numerology. So, when I saw this book at one of my favorite book review sites, I knew I had to check it out. In this book, the author covers a lot of topics in numerology. She has spent a fair amount of time describing its history and different systems. To me, as someone who does not have a deep knowledge of numerology, I found some early sections (after the discussion of history and systems), a little confusing as the author seems to go back and forth between a variety of topics very quickly, throwing out numerology terms with little explanation. The structure of the book does not seem logical to me. For instance, the chapter on finding a new home was thrown in the middle of more personal topics. Perhaps the author could have kept all the more personal aspects of numerology together in one section and put those less personal topics in a separate place. (Perhaps such a topic might be too specific for a general text and less relevant than other topics that were merely glossed over.) Also, while she does give many short interpretations of certain numbers, she describes other important numbers but gives no interpretation. I know a short book like this cannot contain everything known about numerology, but if she mentions what she thinks is an important number, I think she should have at least a short interpretation section. I think this book had potential, and I do not doubt that the author knows her stuff, but I don't think this guide was executed well.

Excellent book
Of all the occult beliefs I find numerology the most interesting. Numbers play such a big part in everyone's life science relies on math and math on numbers. I remember when psychology was called a pseudoscience. For me, Numerology is the one most based on science of all the occult beliefs. This book is not bad at all in giving a person a decent basic knowledge of the subject. I am happy to add this book to my collection each one has given me additional information to play with and learn. I will be honest it is fun to work with numbers it is much easier to understand than astrology and will give you insight into who or what you are looking into. Excellent book and I am happy to recommend it. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
