After I published my first book, “Greatness -The Dark Side-,” my friend and colleague, Mustafa, came to my desk to congratulate me on a successful launch and strong sales in the first month. I thanked him for his kind, then he asked me, “How do you do all the things that you do, all at once? You write books, are studying for your doctorate, read such a lot, take care of your family, and do your day job! How do you manage your time? What is your secret?

I said, “I need to confess that I have never found time management at all easy. I have struggled a lot over the years to manage my time and achieve my goals. I’ve used most of the popular time management tools: ‘To Do’ Lists, paper, and electronic calendars, schedulers, Filofaxes, and even a pocket organizer that I used to record my deadlines, tasks, and add reminders. But nothing worked well until I read Steven Covey’s book ‘First Things First.’ In it, he presented a magical concept for time management: the time management matrix. Actually, at first, it was great for me. I started to achieve my top goals on time, but over time, I had more and more things that I needed to get done in different aspects of my life; When I tried to prioritize them, I realized that they were all of similar importance to me, so the time management matrix didn’t really help me.
Then I came up with a new technique, which I call Spinning Plates Methodology or SPM, which will show you how to manage time by letting time managing you. It can provide you with the life-work balance you are looking for. As you learn to keep your “plates” spinning and balanced, not only will you find your life and work becoming more balanced, but you will also find that you can achieve more by adding more to your plates and accomplishing many tasks at once.

Since I like coffee, I agreed with Mustafa to share my secret with him during lunch break each day for the following week. 5 hours of insights in return for free coffee good company at Starbucks in our work building seemed a fair deal to me.
During 5 lunch breaks with Mustafa, I shared the secret of Spinning Plates Methodology,7-Steps perfect time management system, also I am sharing this precious secret with you in this book, so learn it and start spinning your plates.
