All she wants to do is leave Neverland. All Pan wants to do is keep her there forever.
When Rommy arrived on the magical island, she was looking for her father. Instead, she found a fantastical world that is as dangerous as it is beautiful.
Now she and her friends must set out on one more quest to stop Pan and persuade her father to leave his revenge behind. But before they can do that they have to find the key that can lock the passage to Neverland permanently. The only problem is the key belongs to a crazy fairy, and the lock is guarded by murderous mermaids.
And the clock is ticking.
Rommy has until the next sunrise, or she and everyone she loves will be sealed in Neverland forever. Will she rise above her own fears to find a real happily-ever-after?

I love this series! If you love Peter Pan, Captain Hook and Neverland, you should read these!
Some people say this series villainizes Peter Pan, but I disagree. People are not all good or all bad, it’s our choices and actions that define us, and everyone has the potential to be a “good person” or “bad person” but we also all have the potential to change. (This series demonstrates that very well!)
This story occurs many years after Wendy has left. It explores a lot more of the magic of Neverland and Captain Hook, introduces new characters, tells backstories of familiar characters and is so well written imo.
And as to Peter Pan, I think his behavior is very believable in this series because he’s bitter about Wendy leaving, he has no accountability and is used to doing whatever he wants, and he’s been “burned” so many times that he can’t truly trust anyone unless they’re afraid of him or in awe of him.
I absolutely loved the way this series came to a close. I have to admit, I was looking for a wrinkle that might lead to a fourth book because I have enjoyed this series. Rommy is a great female heroine, she is strong, stubborn and smart. I loved all of the characters and really felt like I knew them and what was motivating them. The fairies, the mermaids, the tree of magic, the wolves, it was all so magical. I can't wait to share these with my grandkids so I get to experience the magic all over again.
This is one of the most amazing book series I have read. It was recommended to me from a friend, and even though the book that I got had a few grammar mistakes/typos, it is still amazing. You should 100% read the first book FIRST, but yeah. Have I said how much I love it? Well anyways, I definitely recommend this to you, and especially anyone around the age of 9-13.
WOW! What a finish to this incredibly pleasing and fun series! Bowman has once again taken this story in an amazingly thoughtful and exciting direction which will keep you on the edge of your seat! No spoilers here, but I'll just say this, strap in until the very end! You won't be sorry!
Fans of The Sisters Grimm and Jasper Fforde's "Nursey Crime" and "Thursday Next" series of books will really love what Bowman has done here! Dive into the Pirate Princess Chronicles TODAY!

The last book to this awesome trilogy! The beginning kind of dragged a bit, but the last few chapters had that suspense with Finn almost not being able to make it and Francie and Finn's "friendship" got Rommy extremely jealous!!! But overall this book was a four star rating from me! I definitely recommend this series to Disney and Fantasy lovers.... Disney fans: this will change your whole perspective on Captain Hook and Peter Pan! Sorry for the spoilers, but I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did!

This may be best read right after book 2 since it dives right in. I forgot a few details but it all came back to me as I read along. This book was such an adventure! A hunt for a key, murderous mermaids, wishing leaves, battles, pirates, hideaways, and the some romance 😍 It had it all! Noticed a few typos and small things but the story was so fun, didn't really mind it 😁 Highlighted a Finn and Rommy moment towards the end that made me smile. Such a great ending to a fun trilogy 😄
I know I gave the other books 4 stars... I was being generous. Concept-wise, a revisionist history Neverland is very interesting. Execution-wise... we need not discuss. Thankfully this reading was less Westminster-Dog-Show-looking-for-total-package than it was visiting-a-very-old-car-and-stripping-it-for-parts. Does that make sense???
Okay, much better than the second book; more along the lines of the first book! I loved the ending. For a middle school level book, there would be some great conversations to be had about all the different character relationships (father/daughter; friends/enemies) and themes (forgiveness and understanding being big ones!)❤️. This story has adventure, charm, and morals.
Excellent conclusion to this trilogy! Loved joining these complex characters adventuring through a wide variety of difficult circumstances to contribute to a higher purpose and greater good. The conclusion did not disappoint as the author brought a similar continuation of action-packed hero quests. Couldn’t stop turning the pages throughout the entire trilogy!
I really enjoyed Neverland's Key!! It's very easy to read, the font was large, the chapters were short, and the pacing was really quick and easy to understand. I really loved the ending and the whole overall story line! Great ending to a great series!!
About as good as the last one. The ending was a nice tie together, and I know for sure this was a YA read. If you love Pan and Disney, this is a fun jump into their world.
Great ending of a great series. I love the character, setting, and time period. The book would not make sense unless you read the other 2. These books flow so well with each other. Unlike other book serious it just picks off where we left off. It does not explain all over want is happening. I'm so happy it does not do that.
I would recommend this book to people who like adventure stories, are in the ages of 10-14, and those who have watched Peter Pan. (It also has magic and a little bit of romance.)
I really enjoy how they add some of the past in the book. It makes it seem more real.
There are 2 things I will complain about: 1. I don't like it how the 6 year old acts pretty grown. (You would understand if you read it.) 2. I don't like how the same dangerous thing happened to her so many times at the very end. She even thinks "this is getting old". It makes sense but it does not really go with the flow of the book.
To sum up... Amazing book! We all have our personal opinions and those are mine!
