The author shares great moments, and advice along with a lot of inspiration. I would recommend this book to anyone who feels a misguided direction for life or that may need a boost. It will motivate and teach in a way that any older person would benefit greatly from reading.

Deb Richard takes the reader behind-the-scenes and into the life of a pro golfer. Her journey from determined and passionate child to LPGA champion is inspiring and motivational. She describes the dedication, commitment, and grit necessary to be successful on the links -- but also pays homage to her supportive family and acknowledges the many teachers, coaches, and mentors who contributed to her rapid climb and long run in a highly competitive environment -- where, on the surface, winning is everything. We discover alongside her that heart and connection -- and discovering our "why" --are key ingredients for winning at life. Her leadership insights and lessons learned are applicable to all of us, regardless of phase or age, regardless of position, title, or rank we hold, and regardless of which kind of "course" we're on.

The world of LPGA golf meets Bildungsroman meets leadership treatise. This fabulous mashup gives us the best of Deb Richard on and off the green. I can't golf like her or lead like her but this book makes me want to. Inspiring, insightful, and practical.
