Kendall is mortified when she realises the calm and relaxing cruise she book for herself and 4 of her college friends is actually a party cruise for singles. So much for spending their days by the pool quietly catching up. It might just be the best mistake she's ever made though since it brings Alex into her life. The last thing workaholic Alex wanted was a holiday but his grandfather booked this cruise for him and his best friend in the hopes that Alex would finally start to unwind and forget about the bar he runs for just a short time. He's so focused on worrying about what is going on back home that he almost misses what is right in front of him but luckily his attraction to Kendall wins out and a holiday fling might be just what he needs to take his mind off of everything.

Kissing Kendall is the first book in the Gone Wild series containing books written by Katee Robert, Piper J. Drake, Avery Flynn, Robin Covington and Stacey Kennedy. Each of the books stars a different member of the friendship group that Kendall invited on this cruise and I'm looking forward to getting to know the others. Katee Robert always manages to write the hottest romances, that's one of the main things that interested me in this series in the first place, and she definitely doesn't disappoint with Kendall and Alex. These two burn up the pages almost from the moment they first meet and bad boy Alex definitely brings out Kendall's naughty side as she starts to discover what an exhibitionist she is.

This is a fairly short book so the relationship development does happen quite quickly but that doesn't make it any less satisfying. Alex and Kendall actually have a lot in common besides sex and their personalities just fit together really well. It's been a long time since Alex gave up his bad boy ways but Kendall reminds him how to have fun again while Kendall, who spends all of her time worrying about other people, also finds herself letting go and relaxing around Alex knowing that he's there to catch her if she falls.

Most of the story is really fun and light hearted but it does take a bit of a darker turn towards the end when a family tragedy sends Kendall's life into a tail spin. I'd actually love a second book about these two so we can see what happens next and I'd quite like to spend more time with Kendall's sisters too. This was definitely a great start to the series and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the stories.

This is the first book in this series and the first book that I've read by this author and I am glad I read it and found another great author. I really enjoyed reading this book a real romance story.
I really like this author writing style and this book is beautifully written.

This is book one in this series. A Gone Wild Novel.
Book 1 = Kissing Kendall
Book #2= Gaming Grace
BOOK #3= Attracting Aubrey
BOOK #4= Beguiling Benjamin
BOOK #5= Loving Liv

Kendall and her friends are on what is supposed to be a relaxing cruise only it's definitely not a relaxing cruise, they are mistakenly on a party cruise for singles. Kendall is fuming and wants to try and get of the ship but after some thought decides that it could still be relaxing.

Alex absolutely hates a cruise and this is his first holiday in years but all he keeps thinking about is home and what could be going wrong.
Then for Kendall and Alex everything from home is forgotten when they both lay eyes on one another. After a quick holiday fling do either of them expect anything else from each other or is it just a holiday romance?
Could this ever really work with these two, or are things just not meant to be?
(NO SPOILERS).

I enjoyed reading this book and am looking forward to reading book two. This author writes brilliantly and I loved the characters, I wanted to see if these two could really work and if Alex could encourage Kendall to break the rules and have some fun.
This book is very hot and steamy read and a real Insta love story between them both. It's obvious that they have alot of chemistry and they both get more than either of them bargained for.

Thank you to the author and publishers for allowing me to read an early copy of this book.

Kissing Kendall is part 1 of the Gone Wild series. I love this type of series were several authors write about a particular event or group of friends. This series doesn’t have to be read in any order. The authors do a good job not spoiling the outcome of the other characters.

Kendall is the leader coordinator of her group of friends. Instead of going on a relaxing cruise they get booked on a singles cruise were anything goes. Kendall is a bit high strung but well meaning. She feels personally responsible but once she meets Alex she throws caution to the wind.

Alex need a vacation and this single cruise is the perfect distraction. He’s been working non-stop but immediately forgets about his life while focusing on Kendall. I liked Alex but I feel like the character needed more. Her seemed rather one note

The pair have a quick connection that was hot and steamy but life got in the way. Their fairy tale cruise abruptly ended and their relationship was put to the test. The pair struggled a bit but they were both willing to sacrifice as they realize that they can’t be without each other. The book was enjoyable and a lot of feelings at the end. I would have loved an additional chapter or an epilogue to round out the book.

Otay y'all I wasn't sure what I really thought about Kendall at first she is so high strung lol. She accidently books her and her college friends on a singles cruise instead of her nice relaxing cruise. When she meets Alex he is as much a workaholic as she is so there both kinda high strung. They definitely have some chemistry and daring moments through out. When Kendall abruptly has to leave they both almost blow it I was surprised that they stayed apart as long as they do. Im glad in the end Alex went after her and that they finally get it right.

Super cute and hot novella length romance!

The first book in the Gone Wild series and it was so fun! Kendall, usually the uptight, organised member of the friendship group has accidentally book her friends on a wild party singles cruise. Shocked at what she's done, she meets Alex, who is about as excited to be on the cruise as she is. Alex has left his bar for a weeks vacation and is terrified something is going to happen whilst he's away. When he meets Kendall, their attraction is instant and they decide to have a fling, a romance which is hot, dirty and fun with no strings attached. But when feelings get involved, and Kendall is unexpectedly pulled from the cruise, will they be able to make it work in the long term, or were they always meant to be a fling?

I adored how Kendall was pulled out of her shell, not only by Alex but by the whole situation. She decided to embrace the impulsive party lifestyle of the cruise and opened up a whole new side to her. Alex, always deemed to be the bad boy of his youth, was actually such a sweetheart and was so caring when he let his guard down. He listened to Kendall and learnt about her as a person too, not just at surface level as you'd expect from something just fun.

I can't wait for the rest of the stories about this friendship group, I'm sure they're bound to be as fun as Kendall and Alex's!

Two homebodies meet in the most unlikely of places, a singles cruise. Kendall is on board because she’s meeting up with college friends and Alex is sent by his grandfather to get him out of his rut. This is a fun, sometimes silly and totally sexy romp. Dive in and enjoy.

I loved Kendall and Alex so much! She’s a somewhat innocent girl who embraces her inner vixen quite nicely! He’s an absolute sweetheart, who knows what it’s like to be bad, but is oh so good! Together, they burned up the pages while romancing me with their love story!

Kendall and Alex make quite the couple. Both are in desperate need of a vacation, and they both need to loosen up. Alex is a reformed bad boy, who knows how to have a good time even if he hasn't been doing so for quite some time, and Kendall is rather innocent until her inner exhibitionist rears its head. These two tiptoe around the whole romance thing for much of the story, but darned if they don't have a steamy good time anyway. There is some angst, including dealing with the loss of a loved one, but in terms of the relationship, it's easy to see where things are going, and this is a couple that is easy to root for. Katee Robert is a new to me author, and this Gone Wild book is a great introduction.

Kendall is supposed to be on a relaxing cruise with her friends. Except it's not a "relaxing" cruise, it's a singles cruise. Yep...

But then she meets Alex and he brings out her until now dormant bad girl instincts and suddenly that singles cruise is looking WAY UP! But what happens when the cruise is done? Will they go onto a long distance relationship? What about when she has to bail early for a family emergency? Will Alex let go of his pride and go get his woman?

This is a fun, really sexy short read. About the only thing I didn't like was that the ending seemed unfinished. It was more of an HFN than a HEA. Actually, it was more of we may be happy in the future but we'll just have to wait and see. Other than that, I could thoroughly get behind this adorable couple's story.

Kendall is wound so tightly I am surprised she didn't snap when she first set foot on the ship. She is the planner, the one who takes care of everyone else, so when she realizes she made a mistake booking a singles cruise she is teetering on the edge of an epic freak out.

When Alex spots her from across the deck for the first time as she is realizing what happened, he sees someone who screams "high maintenance" and "run, don't walk, in the opposite direction". Their first speaking encounter doesn't go much better until Kendall flips a switch and goes nuclear hot in an instant. Unable to keep up with the change in direction, Alex tries to put on the brakes and proves that he is a good guy despite his own misgivings about how people have seen him in the past.

They embrace their time on the ship as "what happens here stays here" but Kendall gave me whiplash at times. One minute she is discovering an exhibitionist side, then the next she is back to crawling back into her head over analyzing every little thing. Then when the unthinkable happens at home, they are right back to square one.

The story was certainly hot, and I did really like Alex despite my misgivings about Kendall at times. Right about now, I find myself wishing for that cruise ship carefree environment myself, so thank you to the author for providing a quick flirty escape with an unexpected emotional gut punch toward the end before the world rights itself!

This was a really good read for being a novella length and part of a multi-author series. I don't get a great reader experience from these kinds of series because there are invisible walls between characters where the authors are not coordinating enough to make it feel like a full world. Just one author's book and another's living side by side not intertwined.

The characters were good. I was very put off my high stung, high maintenance Kendall at first but she did quickly open up with our lead. Alex was so great with his patience and open minded attitude. Kendall's step backwards at the end was somewhat understandable, but very disappointing for her.

The ending is very cautious HFN. I hope this is a feeder to a couple of books about Kendall's sisters? Maybe we can get more K and A closure through those.

The cruise Kendell and her friends are on turns out to be a singles cruise - not what she planned on. She ends up meeting Alex, though, and their fling has the potential for so much more.

Kendall and Alex have a quick, strong attraction and were cute together. The set up with unintentionally ending up on the singles cruise was entertaining.

A fun, quick read that kicks off the new Gone Wild series which has each book written by a different author.

Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.

Magic of Alex and Kendal.

Connections and amazing attraction are happening before they even speak a word to each other. You can almost feel their instant connection the moment their eyes lock. Love a first site? A vacation fling? Can all this equal a HEA for a slightly neurotic rule follower and a commitment fearing control freak with abandonment issues?

Alex has total bad boy written all over him from the beginning. He does not want to be on this singles cruise and is forced to by his meddling grandfathers who demands Alex go on vacation. Alex has a hard time letting go of control of the day to day operations of his bar. The Bar Pop’s has been his haven. It has remained the one constant in his life the one thing that never has left him. He doesn’t feel right leaving it in someone else hands while he goes on this vacation. He has given everything to Pop’s. He has decided at the first stop of the cruise he is abandoning ship and going home to Dawson’s Creek and the bar. However, a Chance meeting with Kendall and some amazing chemistry has him rethinking his plans.

Kendall has planned this trip, she thought down to the last detail for her and her friends. They are taking this opportunity to reconnect since parting ways after college graduation. Instead of a relaxing weeklong cruise somehow Kendall has booked them on a singles party cruise. She feels so guilty especially after a chance meeting the first night with sexy bad boy Alex.

These 2 tear up the pages with their public coupling. It is so hot the way they are drawn to each other and the point of being oblivious to either of the friend (s) that are on the trip with them. I love them. I love their vulnerabilities. They both fear not being loved or being loved but left alone. These are two people who truly need the love of the other for them to be able to grow.

This is a super fun and sexy story with the added fun of tropical drinks and vacation shenanigans. This was a 5/5 read for me. I cannot wait to read the other 4 books in this series. This was great way to feel some sunshine on our faces and take a spring break.

Kendall Barnes was mortified. She'd carefully organized a vacation for her best friends, knowing they could all use a relaxing getaway. She very specifically had NOT gone for a "party cruise" but from the near-orgy on the deck even before the ship left port, she'd made a serious miscalculation somewhere along the line.

Alex Jeffries wasn't thrilled to be on board either. Not a fan of the party scene, he'd much rather be behind the bar at his place, Pop's. Instead, his grandfather had strongarmed him into a cruise, convinced that he was going to die alone and miserable. As if.

Kissing Kendall by Katee Robert is the first in the Gone Wild multi-author series about five friends on a singles cruise. In some ways, Kendall and Alex are birds of a feather--ultra responsible and not given to letting their hair down, they can relate to feeling out of place in the cruise's party atmosphere. But their startling chemistry makes them consider that maybe they're actually in the right place at the right time.

Ms Robert does a terrific job of showing Kendall and Alex's growing feelings, and it's lovely to see their building intimacy, not just physically but especially emotionally. Though their cruise has a destination, we root for them to decide that maybe their connection doesn't have an expiration date!

4 1/2 STARS!

Explosive chemistry right from the start! With the kick-off book in the highly anticipated Gone Wild series, Katee Robert brings us Kendall's story in KISSING KENDALL. The heat between these two is off the charts and their story was a lot of fun to read. I did feel there was a noticeable lack of interaction between the friends which is the only thing that would have made the book feel even more complete.

Kendall was super easy to like and sympathize with when she discovers the relaxing cruise she planned to re-connect with her friends from college is going to be far from relaxing because they accidentally got put on a singles party cruise!

Alex is pretty irresistible ... for Kendall and for the reader. He's a workaholic and from the start is worrying about getting back to the family bar that he runs, but he quickly recognizes his good fortune when things start to heat up between them.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a steaming hot tryst that accidentally turns into forever. Great characters, a perfect setting and lots of emotions running high. Looking forward to the rest of the series!

Of the four books I’ve read in this series, Kissing Kendall is my favorite. I felt the most connection personally to the characters, as well as their chemistry with each other.
Kendall is the organizer of this cruise with her college friends, and being a bit of a homebody, she’s appalled that she accidentally booked them on a singles cruise. Alex is pretty much forced to take this cruise, so it’s more than a little outside his workaholic comfort zone as well.
While they start off flirting, this couple quickly learns that they have a lot in common and a much stringer connection than just a simple vacation physical fling. And they don’t shy away from those feelings, either.
Kissing Kendall had it all for me, a good storyline, interesting characters and a more believable and sustainable connection between them. Alex was a bit gruff and grumbly, which is my favorite hero! Kendall was relatable and someone I could and did cheer for.
Great dialogue, engaging characters and some hot interactions made this book a winner for me.

Kendall makes the mistake of booking a single's cruise for her & some of her college friends, and honestly, it's the best thing she ever did. Alex hates every minute of this cruise & time off, as all he does is worry about his bar back home (he didn't book it himself), until he lays eyes on Kendall, and all of a sudden, his focus shifts. See, these two have chemistry in spades, and it's magnified since there aren't a lot of places to get away on a cruise, so the heat is even more leveled up. The Gone Wild series is all kinds of HOT HOT HOT, and I'm so glad that Katee Robert has started the party off with a sexy bang, as I LOVE LOVE LOVE her writing style so much! I gotta say, I'm single, and need to find a way on this particular cruise to come aboard for all the super sexy fun! While it's a short(ish) read providing insta situations, I still found it perfect, so hit that one click button to find out how it all plays out when they get off the ship! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

3.5 stars if I'm honest.
I've discovered this series because one of my favorite writers, Avery Flynn, wrote book #3.
I wanted to love this book... wanted to like it, at least, but it was just ok for me. What I found most disappointing was the fact that the description talked about 5 friends on a cruise together but there is minimal interaction throughout the book between them, in my opinion. May be that was the main idea so that each of these friends will find their significant other but it just didn't agree with me. Especially considering the fact that it was mentioned in the beginning that they all drifted after college and this cruise was their way to reconnect. From what I read, they remained disconnected but I want to see what happens in the following books. I'm a sucker for good friendships and always want them to work out.
In general, if you're looking for a quick, sexy read - this is your book.
There is a sudden death in the family towards the end that really tugged at my heart strings so if you're sensitive to these things... be ware.

Kissing Kendall (Gone Wild Book 1)!

Kissing Kendall is the first book in the new Gone Wild series. Each book is written by a different author, and as such, each has a unique feel and story for each friend’s story. Five friends embark on a singles party cruise, but Kendall was joining the cruise thinking it would give her an opportunity to reconnect with her college friends.

Along comes Alex! He’s a workaholic wanting to get back to running his family’s bar. But his grandfather booked him and his friends on this cruise, and he is there now. However, once he meets Kendall and their chemistry is combustible, he decides a holiday fling may be just what he needs.

The story is a fast read, that is thoroughly enjoyable. My only minor issue is there is limited interaction with the other college friends along this cruise. This just means you have to read the rest of the series!!

I received an ARC copy of this book from Social Butterfly and am voluntarily reviewing it.

What Kendall thought was going to be a fun cruise to spend some time with her besties from college takes a turn when they find themselves on a singles cruise. What started out as a mistake could be the best thing that ever happened to her when she meets Alex.

A single’s cruise is the last place that Alex wants to be as he would much prefer being back at home rather than worrying about all the problems that could be happening at the pub he owns when he won’t be there to handle them. Meeting Kendall is just the distraction that he needs but what is the time they spent together is not enough?

Fun and flirty Kendall and Alex show each other that there is more to life than careers and responsibilities and there is no denying the chemistry between them.

Katee Robert kicks off the Gone Wild series with Kissing Kendall.  This is the first in a five book series with each book by a different author.  In KR's installment we meet Kendall, one of a group college friends reconnecting on a cruise.  The friends find themselves mistakenly booked on a singles cruise.  Add in Alex, a workaholic that can't help but think of everything that can go wrong with the bar he owns back home.  I loved the chemistry between Kendall and Alex.  Add in the singles cruise setting, I was imagining the next time I book a cruise.  I couldn't wait to see how this vacation fling was going to develop into their HEA.

I'm very much looking forward to reading more in the Gone Wild series.  Next up is Gaming Grace...

Kendall had a great idea for her and 4 of her friends - they'd have a reunion on a cruise and spend their days relaxing and catching up. But things go awry because little did she know that they are on a party cruise for singles! Non-stop partying and people on the prowl is what she's gotten instead, but it works out for her in the best way possible.

Alex, her romantic counterpart, didn't want to be on this cruise at all, but his grandfather booked it for him so he'd take a break and unwind and leave business behind for a few days. When he meets Kendall, he thinks perhaps a holiday fling isn't such a bad idea.

Kissing Kendall is part of a multi-author series of novellas, but each one is a complete standalone so you don't need to read them all or read them in any specific order.

Kissing Kendall is the first book in the Gone Wild series. Friends from college get together to go on a cruise. They thought they were going on a relaxing vacation. Turns out it’s a single party cruise. But one by one(book by book) they find romance.
Kendall meets Alex and they have a instant chemistry that she literally runs from. They spend more time with each other then the people they came with. Which is why I can’t wait to read the next book! This was a fun quick read! I will Definitely read more by Katee Robert. Being introduced to new authors is one of the reasons why I like a series that different authors write each book.

This is book one of the Gone Wild series written by different authors. College friends in up on a party cruise over the nice relaxing one they thought they were on. Kendall is mad and is the up tight one of the group. She meets Alex who is not wanting to be on the cruise either but they meet and learn they have chemistry and common childhoods. There is most just a lot of sex, and their story put not much on the others. There is a little background and ending that's not so happy, but needed more plot or or trips for them.

Overall, 3 stars and 4 steams.

Kissing Kendall is the first book in the Gone Wild Series (5 books total) and it was thoroughly entertaining!

When Kendall realizes that her group was accidentally signed up for a singles cruise instead of a nice and relaxing one, let's just say that she was absolutely horrified! When she meets Alex, sparks fly like crazy. This book is crazy hot and full of amazing chemistry. It was a pretty fast read, but was EXTREMELY steamy and fairly lighthearted (you will see why I mean fairly). All in all, I give this 4 outta 5 stars.

Thought I would try one more from the author.

Possibly spoilers.

Not so much a “series” of unfortunate events. Just someone who booked the wrong cruise, and immediately commences with banging a stranger.

No plot to speak of. No conflict. If you want a quick read with lots of sex scenes, this may do the trick

Weird scene at the beginning where Kendall feels ashamed over using her vibrator? Still don’t understand that, other than in a context of purity culture and misogyny. Interesting then, that she has a public sex kink? None of it really makes sense. But then, not sure that making sense is the point.

Probably don’t need to read more from this author. Not my jam.

This is the first book in a series about a group of friends who are going on holiday, trying to reconnect. But instead of a relaxing cruise..they get a party cruise.

From there shenanigans ensue. Sexy shenanigans.

First up is Kendall and Ryan. They're insta lust story is sexy as hell. And the push and pull between them is A+

Katee Robert smashed it and now I have high Hope's for the rest of this series about the other friends (written by different authors)
