Poppy Sebag-Montefiore is a British freelance journalist currently stationed at the Beijing bureau of More4 News. Her geographical remit is China.

Sebag-Montefiore is also co-founder of Never Again International, an international student partnership/network that seeks to call attention to both the causes and effects of genocide and organize the exchange of ideas between young people – those who have lived through genocide and those who wish to learn from them.

Poppy Sebag-Montefiore worked for the BBC in Beijing after studying history at University College, London and attending Francis Holland School. She now works freelance with print, film, and radio mainly between China. She has written for The Guardian and The Independent.
