The Lincolns #10

The Assassin

Rate this book
He’s written his suicide note and loaded his gun…when the doorbell rings.
It’s one of those door-to-door preachers.
But this one is a woman.
And she’s smokin' hot…

Salem Lincoln should have ended his life two years ago before his father could turn him into one of the most hated assassins on the planet. After his father’s death, he expected freedom but was plunged into deeper bondage when stronger masters who knew of his skills overpowered him.

For two years, he’s been trapped in his own body, except for at night when his masters trigger him to assassinate their enemies. To disobey them would be certain death.

He has now chosen death. By his own hands.

But here he is with Preacher Girl on his doorstep. Her name is Rae, pronounced like sun-ray.

He can tell she thinks he’s weird.

No surprise there since he can’t speak, he’s holding a gun and his suicide note is lying on the floor between them.

She wants to help. She thinks Jesus can wave a magic wand—metaphorically speaking—and everything will be better. And the crazy thing is, he believes her.

The instant chemistry during their chance encounter leads to so much more. With Rae, Salem feels alive, hopeful, happy. She’s the kind of woman most men don’t even bother to wish for and he’ll do anything to keep her from slipping between his fingers. Including hide who he truly is.

She thinks he’s simply speech-impaired and struggling with depression. She has no idea about the waking nightmare he’s living.

Until his masters show him her picture as his next target.

He soon discovers his sun-Rae has plenty secrets of her own.

Can Salem and Rae survive the danger that is headed their way?

The Lincolns are 12 billionaire bad boys raised in the occult. Follow the Lincoln brothers as they navigate life after the death of their grandmaster occultist father, find faith and fall in love. | Although part of a series, this is a standalone book with a satisfying, heartwarming conclusion.

Another amazing story in the life of the Lincoln brothers. In this story we delve closer into the life of Salem Lincoln, the brother that has been in the background of the rest of the series. Salem lives with such depression he is not even able to speak. On Christmas day he makes a major decision about his life, when he meets Rae handing out leaflets to learn about God they have no idea how their lives are going to change. From Red robes trying to destroy them as well as Rae's family they are in for a chilling ride. This book delves very deeply into the occult opening our eyes to more horrendous things that happen. But it also shows the power of God and love. An awesome read with plenty of action, suspense and romance.
I received a free download of this book from the publisher. I am leaving a review because I really enjoyed this book, it is my own honest opinion.

Review for Assassin

Wow! The suspense of the book is top notch,I was glued to the very end, even expecting more. The way the author brought all these together can only be by the inspiration of the most high.

I learnt a lot, that as a Christian, there shouldn't be a price for us to lose our salvation... Jesus is and should be more than enough.

I can't wait for the next book! Wow, God bless you real good Dayo Benson.

I received an ARC of this book. This review is voluntary and is my honest opinion.'

Another bestseller

It’s been agonizing waiting for the next book in the Lincoln series from Dayo but it’s been worth it. Amazingly graphic and vivid descriptions, I felt like I was watching a movie and cheering for God and His people at the same time. Thank you for addressing the issue of depression. So many Christians struggling with it. Please release your next book soon.April is too far to wait!!

Another Great Book in the Lincoln’s Series!!

This book touched me in so many ways. It shows the grace Jesus has for us no matter what you’ve done in your past you can be forgiven. It broke my heart at the cause of Salem’s depression all this time. I can’t wait to find out about the next Lincoln brother. Dayo Benson knows how to bring out every motion you have and to show just how much we’re loved by Jesus.

Salem submitted to slavery to Abha because he didn't know his rights. What things have you allowed as a result of not knowing your rights or who you are in Christ?

2. In what areas do you need to seek knowledge about your rights and who you are in Christ? How do you think that knowledge will change you?

God loves you. An assassin that has been used for the devil work. But God, in his mercy, still chose him.

Thank you, Dayo Benson, for grace

Salem Lincoln

Dayo just has a way to preach the gospel through God entering this family of satansts. Even though these are not factual, it is important to know that Satan is and is capable to try to draw Christians away from God. Satan already has non-believers. This book show just how easy it is to become a Christian.

God's Children win against Evil!

This book shows how we all have a choice! Good verses evil. Right verses wrong. Choosing God is trusting God! This was a good story of sacrifice for love and family.

Ten Stars!

I cried. The image Dayo painted of Yeshua taking our baggage, and helping us out of our pits of despair was overwhelming. What an amazing book. Great series, but this one moved me to tears. Amen.

this was such an amazing read

as expected, Ms. Benson doesn’t cease to pull me in with her stories and I love how Salem and Rae’s arcs were handled.

also, it is a shame that Abha never got to surrender his life to Christ. this just shows how his hardening of his heart eventually led to his eventual damnation.

I did have a problem with the way most of the Lincoln brothers were doubting Salem’s conversion because of his mental health struggles (they don’t make you any less of a Christian).

I am so glad that the Lincoln brothers are starting to realize that Junior may not be dead, after all. I cannot wait to see how it goes, neither can I wait to read Xy’s redemption arc either.
