AW Hart - Avenging Angels Bk 3 - Day of Calamity - Reviewed 11/5/19
Missing Angels, Suspected preacher, and secrets at every turn….

Arriving at the small town of Tabitha’s Farm, Reno and Sara Bass are on the trail of two missing church angels that was suspected to be stolen by the resident preacher. In their search after the preacher, they head to a rail town of North Platte. A town that is settling down after the tracks went through but still harboring lots of rough characters. They track down the wayward preacher and stumble on the truth of the dark secrets concerning the good folks at Tabitha’s Farm along with the preacher and his cohorts. When Sara kills a corrupt soldier the army starts their pursue of the twins. Now the two are dodging the bullets flying from the local law, the army soldiers and the preacher's men. Where will it all END??

What did I like? The mission of ridding the earth from the scum of the world continues. I love these two and the rapport that they have with each other. The love shows in their every thought and action. Twins have this mystical connection that surpasses anything on earth. The author surely knows how to put that connection into words in each of his books.

What will you like? Incredible action, suttle humor, emotional content and a storyline that is all too real of what really happened in the wild west. The delicate way that the author approached the subject of this book is beautiful if not a glaring reality to what does occur in the very real world today. When perversion, greed, and corruption have no bounds. Again his masterful details and descriptions take you right into the story with each of the characters coming to life in your mind. The characters are also astonishingly lifelike and you either deplore them or you want them to be your best friends. Beautifully written and will be another favorite addition to my growing library.

I didn't enjoy this book as much as the previous books. As I am aware that white slavery goes on I don't enjoy reading about it although I do enjoy reading about the bad guys getting caught, ladies too in this case. Looking forward to next adventure of the two toe headed heroes! At the age of 83, I can relate to their young lives.

The evil that men do...

Swell written tale of the evil that lives on some hearts and how it can be overcome and defeated. Good job, Avenging Angels.
I wish the cover better reflected the book Description.

Avenging Angels: Day of Calamity

This a good read that follows the same way as previous stories by this author. Some of the slow parts are not too many ,but just enough to eat you off balance.

Decent!

Good story, about people wanting to profit from the work of others. Hey, doesn't that sound like government? Sure glad they are here to help us!

Continued Heart-Warning Action-Packed Adventure!
It's quite amazing when an author's third in a series has as much freshness of adventure and fast-action as the first! Although definitely a western, it's plot is totally unique and even more enjoyable!

This book is disappointing compared to the Authors’s earlier book about the adventures of Reno and Sara. I confess that I like action but nothing much happens until you are nearly 70 per cent along.
