I really enjoyed this book, which covers Purgatory in:

- Scripture
- Catechism
- St Maria Faustina
- Other saints
- Marian Fathers (order)
- Simple Prayers

I know that private revelation is where religious writing can get a little out-there, so I appreciate that the authors actually kept their focus on the basic logic of Purgatory and its role in salvation. They do not bring in anything dubious, but instead concentrate on the idea of Purgatory as the place where souls can become perfected in preparation for Heaven. I also appreciate that the suggested prayers and devotions for the souls in Purgatory are entirely reasonable - no laundry lists of revelated promises, simply asking for things like reading the Scriptures and saying the "Eternal Rest . . . " prayer and devotions like that.

I would recommend this for any Catholic interested in learning more about Purgatory. I learned a lot and my questions were resolved, and I will use this as a guide for praying for the dead.
