This would be a great book if it was a work of fiction, but to know that the events in this book were real and all happened to the same person leaves you in awe of the author. I have always had respect for the author and it was renewed over the course of 439 pages. It takes a level of strength and courage that I don't have to be as transparent as the author was in this glimpse into some of the events and people that make her the woman she is today. Thank you for being you, Ashanti.
