Well, all I can say is I'm exhausted! I have been hanging out for this book, and the wait has been very much worth it.
In An Unexpected Hellhound, the brand new and still tenuous peace treaty between wolf and vampire comes under threat from Zeus and his cronies. There is an insidious undercurrent, rogues are closing in and the are wheels within wheels, putting lives at stake and, if Zeus cannot be stopped, the very fabric of the world could be reshaped into something utterly unrecognisable. Erstwhile enemies must work together, to prevent disaster... which has surprising results.
This a beautifully scripted, well developed, fast paced novel, revolving around - but not solely about - Roxana and White, who face almost insurmountable challenges and who are helped or hindered by the author's trademark cast of characters, from human to Fae and everything in between.
If you love paranormal romance and lively narrative with a side order of steam - this book is for you (mind I highly recommend you read the other two first)!

Addictive
I found this totally addictive and extremely hard to put down.
This author has an interesting twist on history blending really well with the supernatural world and I loved it.
I believe I have found myself a New author to follow .😁😁😁

This is the third book in Lilly Rayman’s Unexpected Trilogy, and it is wonderful. Can you read this as a stand-alone? Yes, you can. But this author has concocted a very complex story arc over the three books, and you really should read them all to get the richest experience. This book contains Roxana and White’s story, and while I’m advising you what to read, you should start with Roxana’s story “A Reluctant Roxana” in the Dare to Shine anthology.
In this book, the tentative peace between vampires and wolves is tested by the Olympians, Zeus, Poseidon, and the lot, who refuse to submit to the agreement. Otherworldly powers clash in blood and ash.
This is a riveting series, complex and convoluted, with a backdrop of 6000 years of history.
Prepare yourself: you won’t want to put it down.

Wonderfully fantastic... The book was amazing... It had a lot of details and juicy scenes to it... The characters and their personalities match them perfectly... The plot and the storyline was very descriptive and amazing...
