What a perfect ending to a fabulous series! I've been so intrigued with Victoria since book one of this series, and have been eagerly anticipating her story, I'm thrilled to say that this book most definitely did not disappoint! A real page turner that keeps you on the edge of your seat! You won't want to miss the conclusion of the phenomenal Northwest Counter Terrorism Task Force series! I loved Final Stand and highly recommend it!

I received an ebook copy of this book from the publisher which did not influence my review in any way. All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own.

Victoria has secrets and they could kill her.
The North West Counter Terrorism task force has been disbanded after rounding up all but two of the crooked FBI agents seeking to destroy the government from within.
The story continues as Victoria and Mark work together to try and track down the last two players in the terrorist group.
The plot moves very quickly and Victoria soon realizes that she and those close to her are targets of the rogue FBI agent known as Oscar Langsden . She and Mark narrowly escape death on several occasions and her former task force struggles to understand what drives her to risk her life over and over again in pursuit of Langsden.
This is a real page turner and I had a hard time to put it down. There is action and suspense from start to finish.

Epic series

I loved this series. So full of, well everything that I love reading. Suspense, romance, intrigue, spycraft, conspiracies, and a team that just breathes family and justice. This book centers around Victoria and Mark’s story and I loved their romantic interludes with so much thrown at them, I was begging for their happy ending. The conspiracy that this series was based around came to a masterfully, thrilling conclusion. I loved the faith element as well. Phillips did a beautiful job in drawing God into rescuing them all in a way that truly touched my heart. The thread of forgiveness was inspiring. Absolutely riveting with topics that could be ripped from the headlines, this entire series was a roller coaster ride of suspense.

Whew. This was a whirlwind book. Crazy and so many pieces and emotion and turmoil. The past and the present and all of it a tangled web. Based on our views of Victoria these past books.. wow, Phillips definitely did not give her an easy time in this one. I don't even know what to say. This was a top notch thriller with a terrorist bad guy with a huge arsenal of possibilities. I loved our hero and his soft heart for our heroine - his childhood friend. FBI and CIA grow up together and face the world together. Friends hovering on the cusp of more for so long. This was sweet and intense. A great Christian romantic suspense. I'm sad this series is over, but I'm thrilled to head over to another of Phillips', she's got me hooked.

Great ending to the series. Interesting how the life of Victoria intersects with Colin. His revenge is insane with the nuke bomb he uses to try and blow her and Jakeman up with. The suspense and the way Colin pursues Victoria and kills everyone associated with them - namely all the FBI agents who have gone rogue - made for a great suspense thriller. Highly recommend this series to anyone who loves murder mystery, bad cops (who does Victoria trust when everyone seems to be bought out by Colin) and of course a little romance.

Amazing faith-filled challenging adventure

"there was nothing Mark could do but pray for the guy. And yet, how powerful weapon the believer wielded. Moving things in the heavenly places simply by talking to his savior. He was never powerless when he had the means to pray over a situation.”
Enough said! Great book!!!!!

Knowing this is the last book in a good series, one wants to savor it,
Victoria had a particular hate for people in power who were suppose to work for truth and justice . For five years , job now done with Northwest Counter Terrorist Taskforce. After a mission she visits her grandfather, instinct told her something was wrong. Corruption inside the FBI with agents, A name of one of the mist wanted list by the FBI no one knew what he looked like, more importantly what was the connection. Good conclusion to this good series
