சென்ற வாரம் நான் படித்த இரண்டு புத்தகங்கள் வெகுவாக என்னை பாதித்தது... முதலில் படித்த புத்தகம் ‘அருணா இன் வியன்னா’ - மருத்துவர் அருணாவும் அவரது இரண்டு தோழிகளும் யூரோப்பிற்கு குடும்பத்துடன் செல்லாமல், தோழிகள் மூன்று பேர் மட்டும் சென்று வந்த ஒரு ரகளையான பயணத்தைப் பற்றி தன்னுடைய அனுபவத்தை நகைச்சுவை கலந்த ஒன் லைனர்களுடன் சிறப்பாக தந்திருக்கிறார்... கொஞ்சம் தவறினாலும் ஒரு நீண்ட Facebook பதிவாக மாறிவிடும். ஆனால் ஒரு நல்ல பயண நூலாக மாற்றுவது அவரின் எழுத்து நடை, அதன் வழியாக நம்மையும் உடன் அழைத்து செல்லும் விதம். நெற்றிக்கண் படத்தில் வரும் கவுண்டமணி , இங்க இருக்கு மருதமலை அதையே நான் இன்னும் பாக்கல என்று சொல்வதை போல் நானும் பெரிய பயணம் எதுவும் சென்றதில்லை.. நண்பர்களுடன் ஏதாவது ஒரு பயணம் போக வேண்டும் என்று தூண்டிய ஒரு எழுத்து... இவரின் பிற எழுத்துக்களை படிக்க ஆவலாக உள்ளது...
இரண்டாவது புத்தகம் - லஷ்மிசரவணகுமார் எழுதிய ரூஹ் - முதலாவது பயணத்தின் கதை என்றால் ரூஹ், வாழ்க்கைப் பயணத்தை பற்றிய கதை... கதை ஆரம்பிக்கும் போது இருக்கும் கதாபாத்திரங்கள் முடியும் போது வேறு ஒன்றாக மாறுகிறது.இன்றைய தலைமுறை எழுத்தாளர்களில் சமகாலத் தன்மை கொண்ட எழுத்து இருக்கும் ஆனால் ஆழமிருக்காது, அதை பொய்யாக்கும் விதமாக லஷ்மி சரவணகுமார் தனது ரூஹ் நாவலின் மூலம் ஒரு சிறந்த வாசிப்பனுபவத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கிறார்.. முதல் சில அத்தியாயங்களை படிக்கும் போதே நம்மை கதைக்குள் இழுக்கிறது.. லஷ்மிசரவணக்குமார் எழுதிய நாவல்களில் முதன்மையானதாக இதை தயங்காமல் சொல்லலாம்.. அவரின் கதை வடிவம் உரையாடல்கள் குறைவாக இருக்கும், கதை சொல்லல் மற்றும் எண்ண விவரணைகள் அதிகமாக இருக்கும். இதுவே அவரின் பலம் மற்றும் பலவீனம். அவரின் எழுத்தில் நான் கவனித்தது, வாசனைகள் ஒரு முக்கிய அங்கமாக எல்லா நாவல்களிலும் இடம் பெறுகிறது. உப்புநாய்களில் வரும் நாயின் வாசனையை எழுத்தில் உணரலாம். அதேபோல் ரூஹ் வில், பல வாசனைகளின் மூலம் உணர்வுகளை கடத்துகிறார். நாவலை பற்றி எழுதுவதற்கு நிறைய இருக்கிறது..இந்த வருடத்தின் முக்கியமான நாவலாக இந்த நாவல் இருக்கும். இரண்டு நாவல்களுமே Must read வகையைச் சேர்ந்தது... Do read👍

புத்தகங்கள் என்பதே இருந்த இடத்தை விட்டு நகராமல் உலகை சுற்றி பார்ப்பது தான் இதுபோன்ற பயணம் புத்தகங்கள் உங்களை இன்னும் கூட புத்துணர்ச்சி படுத்தும் ஒரு பயணம் செய்தது போல்.மருத்துவர் அருணாவின் நகைச்சுவையான எழுத்தும் இந்த சுகமான பயணத்தில் அவர்களுடைய நண்பர்களுடன் சேர்ந்து நாமும் பயணித்த அனுபவத்தை இந்த புத்தகம் உங்களுக்கு கொடுக்கும்

Lovly read
Writing a Travel experience is another great experience for the writer him/herself.
There will be n number of little detail would strike in our mind which we never realized during the travel itself.
Its an awesome journey with Aruna in her tour.I could connect my self easily with the story since I have travelled in Budapest 10years ago..
The writer never Attempted to thrill the reader by any cooked up stories..she narrated the story as it is.She had never missed anything including the sex shop, kissing couple the guy who she liked in the bus etc.. At the same time she never meant to shock or surprise any by writing them..its goes nicely with the flow..
She had mentioned the native Europeans and Afro-Americans but never mentioned anything about the of the Hindians /Tamils living in those countries..its rare chance she never met any. It could have been an interesting if could have added one episode about them.
And i didn't go along with katteri,mohini pisasu , asuvasam like words used for narration.
I liked Lot of funny phrase of Tamils used by twisting them.. Like mudhugai parthen.. Padi padi sonnen..etc.
Good read.. In one go.. my best wishes to author.

when we comes to know three ladies going to Europe alone, we expect lot about freedom, women oppression and other stuff, but writer cleverly avoids these and brings her experience of the tour in funny simple way. sometimes not mentioning things can be more political?
written in Micro blog style , the books takes across Europe in express pace. it is very difficult to write without mentioning Histories, details, statistics about a place while writing about places, but writer did not bore with us with these details and gives just information about her experience. this makes this book special.

The author impressed me with the simple narration style. It's humorous, informative (not the details but some basic subjects), engaging. She makes us to feel the places, people & set-up as she describes. Travel-Literature is a least worked genre in Tamil literature and contributions like this will inspire a lot of people to travel & write their experiences as well. Looking forward to have more of such works from Author

Good read
It gave me a different experience, it did not guided you for the tour, it did not added knowledge on far away places, it did not give a reading experience. Rather it relaxed our mind, enjoyed the language, it made my mind to give such opportunity for my wife. Keep it up Aruba.
