USA Today bestseller B.V. Larson and Dragon award finalist David VanDyke have released book six in their epic military space opera!
The Breakers find a new home among the stars: Utopia. An engineered planet that is vast beyond comprehension with plenty of room to grow. They set up trade routes and work as mercenaries for their supplies… but trouble lurks.
Pirates strike their merchant lanes. Key personnel are captured and enslaved. Straker is called upon to do something, and thus a new conflict is set in motion.
Don’t miss HELL’S REACH, a wild thrill ride of combat and intrigue among the stars. This new novel of military science fiction is the sixth book in the Galactic Liberation series. Look for book #1, STARSHIP LIBERATOR if you’re new to this expanding universe.
David VanDyke is a former Army Airborne soldier and later, an Air Force officer. He lives in the Tucson area with his wife and three dogs. Look him up at davidvandykeauthor.com
Nothing sophisticated, just an interesting, imaginative space adventure with intriguing characters. Escapist Sci-fi that doesn't strain the brain but also doesn't insult your intelligence. I'm reading all of his series of books.
It looks so much like the final book where each main character attempts to define himself/herself and then come to a humongous finale which had me up in the wee hours trying hard to pry my eyes open I order to see the end. Then again there’s unfinished business and it’s going to be interesting to know more about the Engineers.
I surely enjoyed this, as much as I have the entire series (and much of BV Larson's work) but
It is fine when books challenge me - art isn't always supposed to be comfortable, after all - but reading light military scifi is usually a casual affair for me and I didn't like it.
I am a fan of BV Larson and like the galactic liberation series and I've read them all. Hell's Reach was a good read and was fun to reunite with the characters which had continued to grow in depth. I think the storyline was a little bit weaker than the other books before but I also sense it was an important transition to another wave of great galactic liberation novels. Keep it up.
Incredible!! This series has always been awe inspiring to read but this book outshines the rest! New technology, New adventures and a heartfelt story tying it all together. Keep the stories coming please
This was my favorite book in this series so far. The story is a fast paced space journey tackling personal and social issues combined with just enough humor, action, and destruction to keep me turning the pages.
What a wild imagination these authors have. Couple their imaginative vision and ability to built such an intriguing storyline is unbelievable! Throughly enjoy reading this series and Larson’s other series!
Classic BV Larson material. He is good at pushing the reader to think about different philosophical and moral issues. This aspect of his writing plus the rush of good space and ground battles keeps you entertained through the entire book.
This book and #5 are distinctly better than the rest of the series - a huge step up from what was a good and fun set of books, to something much more interesting.
Thoroughly entertaining with exceptional characters. An exciting space opera with thoughtful introspection of what an alien race might think of humanity.
This was good fun, just what I expected. Predictable format with familiar characters that I’ve enjoyed in past books overall, but that's what sci-fi operas are all about.
