Rate this book
Broken omegas, and the protective alphas who make them whole again.

This non-shifter accidental-pregnancy mpreg bundle contains books 1-4 of the Men of Meadowfall series, as well as extra scenes for all four books (10,000 new words!). Packed with heat, angst, and fluffy moments, the Meadowfall men will bring you on a roller coaster ride of emotions that'll leave you smiling by the end.

The Omega's Secret Pregnancy: When Felix bumps into his childhood sweetheart, he doesn't expect Kade to accidentally give him a baby. But Felix has secrets; that was why he left in the first place.

Omega Teacher's Baby: Greg, the college president's son, has been hitting on Professor Dale Kinney. Then Greg finds Dale in heat, and things get messy.

Omega's Stepbrother: Single dad Wyatt collides with the one alpha who has always loved him: his stepbrother.

Two Alphas, One Omega: Unbeknownst to Sam, his two new cooking class students are his ex, and his ex's lover--both of whom are alphas, both of whom want to protect him the instant they discover he's pregnant with their child.

Sweet fluffy omegaverse stories in an amateurish writing style, that still manages to feel warm, welcoming and have good chemistry between the protagonists. All four stories are insta-lust centred, with falling in love not far behind.

The Omega's Secret Pregnancy; 1.75 stars. Childhood friends growing up to become boyfriends. The entire plot revolved around a total inability to communicate with each other, including telling outright lies to one another. Way too childish behaviour from two characters supposed to be 30 years old.

Omega Teacher's Baby; 3.5 stars. Re-read and the plot was actually better than I remembered, so I upped it half a star. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show....

Omega's Stepbrother; 2.25 stars. Too similar in style and plot of the first story of the bundle. Two stepbrothers are reunited as adults, with an evil grandmother as the main lover's obstacle. A bit meh.

Two Alphas, One Omega; 2.75 stars. The polyamorous angle lifted this story. I enjoyed the two alphas' different personalities more than the shy omega role, a personality that felt like a repeat from several of the previous books in the series.

It turned out I only really enjoyed book 2, 'Omega Teacher's Baby', which was the one book in the bundle I'd read before. Oh well, not a great success but at least I got to re-read that one.

Let me preface this review by saying that if you don't appreciate trope based, i.e. formulaic writing, then Anna Winehart's books might not be your thing. All of them are hurt/comfort omegaverse novels, and most of them include a second trope as well. This digital box set contains books 1-4 in the Men of Meadowfall series.

1. "The Omega's Secret Pregnancy: When Felix bumps into his childhood sweetheart, he doesn't expect Kade to accidentally give him a baby. But Felix has secrets; that was why he left in the first place."

3.5 stars: Felix really annoyed me. I get that he had a borderline emotionally abusive father and that he was worried about Kade's response to what Felix's actions had affected Kade's family having gone bankrupt, especially learning that fact had led to another tragedy for the family. However, if you love someone and believe they love you, you need to trust them and talk to them. Don't just assume they'll reject you and leave first having said all kinds of hurtful things to them to enforce the breakup. Anyhow, the story was well written, and the characters were fully portrayed.

2. "Omega Teacher's Baby: Greg, the college president's son, has been hitting on Professor Dale Kinney. Then Greg finds Dale in heat, and things get messy."

4 stars: I really enjoyed this story. It was well written and had an interesting plot. The bit involving the university's bias against omegas, especially when one forms a relationship with a student, which might be immoral but isn't officially illegal, pops up again a few more times over this series as well, and I was so glad after that issue was finally resolved in book 8.

3. "Omega's Stepbrother: Single dad Wyatt collides with the one alpha who has always loved him: his stepbrother."

4 stars: This story was well written and had good character development. I often find the stepbrother trope to be interesting, and this story didn't disappoint me at all.

4. "Two Alphas, One Omega: Unbeknownst to Sam, his two new cooking class students are his ex, and his ex's lover--both of whom are alphas, both of whom want to protect him the instant they discover he's pregnant with their child."

3.5 stars: This story was well written and had good character development. While polyamory isn't one of my favorite things to read about, I can't deny that stories like this one are sexy, and I can often even believe that there's love between them and not just sex, which was the case for this story.

This is an engaging, entertaining, memorable group of men, that I had the immense pleasure to meet in my Meadowfalls reads. Each man is endearing and a heartwarming addition to the group. Many are a bit damaged from supposed loved ones with good intentions (and some not so good). They are survivors seeking their hearts' desires, and each eventually gets their hea thanks to a merciful author. I previously read these books, and when I saw this bundle it was an automatic no brainer one click. I will be patiently rereading this set waiting for the next bundle to come out. I'm addicted to the Meadowfalls men. The characters and the world the author built is definitely one to revisit time and time again!

Excellent series. Good stories. Fantastic family and friend support groups. I liked Two Alphas, One Omega best. Sam, Valen and Harris were the sweetest guys. Their tragedies made them stronger individually and as a group. I think reading the box sets si best, because you can continuously read straight through. One story is 'not' enough. You will want to see if the guys can find their happy. Well done. Anna, brings you in and makes you part of the family. Well done!

I can’t believe that I’m about to say this, but I’m DNF’ing this book! The premises are fine, but I don’t like how it was being narrated to me instead of letting the characters speak!
This is heartbreaking to me because I absolutely adore Mpreg.
Just not for me. By all means give it a try.

Good storylines, full of angst

If you like good mpreg Alpha Omega stories, no shifter, with lots of angst then you should definitely read this.

DNF

I had to abandon ship in the first book in this set. Felix was AWFUL. The way he treats Kade just makes me so mad.

it just gets better with each one.

I am loving this series. With so many and spin-offs too, I’m going to be able to stay in this world for a good while.

I have plenty of self-esteem issues of my own so I don't enjoy reading about main characters with such these low levels of self-esteem. Not my cup of tea.
