At the end of When the Side N*gga Catch Feelings, Part 1, all hell breaks loose. The two side dudes that Heaven and Treasure have fallen for pretended as if they could play second to another man. Now, their feelings are in the way, secrets have been revealed, and Vegas and Ross are determined to make sure that the outcome is deadly.
Mello's dreams of being with Heaven have always only been fantasy because of who she is married to. Yet, one summer night led them into a steamy affair that has ended in complete mayhem. Heaven welcomes the mayhem, however, as long as she finally has Mello, a man that truly loves her. But as her luck has always has it, she can never have what she wants without it coming at a hefty price. When she refuses to pay the price, Heaven is forced back into a life on the streets...without Mello.
Vegas had never cheated on Treasure...not once. But when she is forced to reveal her infidelity with Vegas' “friend”, Damo, Vegas throws away the ring and their relationship and runs into the arms of the one woman that Treasure despised. Treasure literally makes herself sick with the thought of Vegas being with Princess. Then, Treasure is forced to reveal more of her secrets and she loses her best friend, Heaven, too.
In this finale, Heaven and Treasure's unfaithfulness literally shatters their world and changes the course of their lives forever. Now, Ross is determined to make Heaven and Mello pay with their lives for deceiving him, and Vegas is falling for the opposition. All the while, Damo and Princess are still plotting to dismantle this crew. Will Heaven make it on the streets? Will Treasure be able to make it on her own two feet? Will Ross finally pay for the havoc that he wreaked on Heaven's life? Find out in this heart-wrenching finale that will leave you breathless until the very end.

This author definitely knows how to tell a story. Part 2 was just as good as the first one! I enjoyed the fact that the author gave all the main characters voices. Another fast paced page turner!
I made it to about 52% of Part 2 before giving up.. There was a lot of crying and repeat of the first book that we already read and then there was more of the same BS from Ross. The characters frustrated me. With the dialogues and situations they wre put in. I skipped through and ahead to the end to see what kind of ending this book has. But there was a whole lot of what I thought was unnecessary fillers all the way to the end.
Mello's mother isn't very smart, Heaven and Mello end up together, Ross is still Ross like he hasn't learned anything.
Ultimately, it was just ok. Didn't love it, didn't hate it..
I listened to the Audible version of this book and read the Kindle book as well.

This was a pretty good series but I still had so many questions. How is Heaven with Ross for 3+ years and doesn't have a penny saved. Who does that? How you don't go from basically living in a mansion to being homeless. I think not! Then you think it's okay to catch feelings for your husband's son. Come on now! Yes, Ross was dog but his son should've been off limits. Yeah, this series did way too much in my opinion.
I loved it. I’m glad Ross got what he deserved. Mello’s mom was wrong. Paris trifling. I’m so happy Treasure got Vegas back I felt so bad for. I’m happy that Heaven got her man. I would love to hear more from them.
Part two of a two part story. Some of the content was redundant, and there were a multitude of editing errors, but notwithstanding those issues I thoroughly enjoyed the book.
I was glad for the characters who finally found happiness with the one they truly loved. Lots of chaos getting to that point. Ross was evil & deserved what he received. Good ending & series.
This book had me in TEARS at the end. Definitely kept me on my toes until the very end. Ross FINALLY got what he deserved!!! I was scared for Heaven and Mello the entire time. Even though Treasure messed up, I’m happy she was able to work things out with Vegas and they got their happily ever after.

YO, OFF TOP, I WISHED Y'ALL COULD'VE SAW THE LOOKS ON THE NON-BLACK LIBRARIANS FACES WHEN I WALKED IN MY LOCAL LIBRARY & INQUIRED ABOUT THIS BOOK SERIES USING THEIR TITLES AT CIRCULATION! IT. WAS. PRICELESS! Okay, now to the conclusion of this book WTSNCF 2 I think Divine-not Sunshine POPPED OFF during the cliffhanger. But I'M IN THE MINORITY OF READERS WHO REALLY HOPED THAT THE PERSONS WHO WERE SHOT WAS TRIFLING A** HEAVEN & HER HORNY A** STEPSON MELLO. Usually, I don't wish for anyone to have gotten GOT, BUT THAT STORY LINE OF A STEPMAMA SLEEPING WITH HER OWN BARELY LEGAL STEPSON MADE ME PHYSICALLY SICK! I ACTUALLY EXPECTED BETTER OF JNW BECAUSE SHE'S ONE OF THE FEW STREET/URBAN FICTION WRITERS WHO DON'T CONSTANTLY HAVE HER MAIN LEAD CHARACRTERS THE VICTIMS OF SA/RAPE, WHICH IS OVER SATURATED & EXTREMELY OVERUSED BY S/U FICTION WRITERS (I would name a few but I'm sure y'all have read some of those s/u fiction writers work). I just wasn't expecting a story from JNW of incest (Yes, readers. Sleeping with your STEPSON is INDEED just THAT:INCEST) where the readers are encouraged to root for a A STEPMAMA & BARELY LEGAL STEPSON IN A LUST-FILLED RELATIONSHIP. Then, Heaven crapping on the grave of her dead abusive husband WHO MAY VERY WELL ONE DAY BE KNOWN AS HER FATHER-IN-LAW! SICK! I WAS COMPLETELY DISGUSTED BY IT & REFUSED TO SUPPORT IT, EVEN WITH VEGA, MY FAVORITE CHARACTER BEING IN IT. I was glad that Vegas had taken Treasure back & the two welcomed into the world a son with a fabulous name! I gave this book a 2 star rating because of VEGAS TREASURE & THEIR SON BECOMING A FAMILY!
Even though the book didn’t end how I wanted it to, I still enjoyed the finale. I wanted everybody to seek revenge but unfortunately not everybody did lol but some questions definitely was answered and nothing was left out or no cliffhanger. I enjoyed this series
Thank you for this book....it was a surreal journey that I was anxious to end. I had my hang ups bcz I really dislike silly characters. Heaven was definitely not my favorite...she annoyingly keep doing things without thinking and it was drivin me crazy.....I will say I didn’t expect the ending but it seems as tho the cliffhanger leaves the possibility of more to come ...idk it could just be wishful thinking, whatever the case this was a good story.
I anticipated the release of this installment and although it picked up from part 1, it seemed a bit rushed. Damo was a nutcase and Ross wasn’t too far behind. Treasure received her karma but she was also able to grow from it all. Vegas was a good dude and I’m happy things worked out for him. Overall... this was a decent read and it held my attention.
This book was so drawn out I couldn’t take it...the first 40% was pretty much the characters still crying over what happened in the last book...I really wanted to like this series but this book just wouldn’t allow me too...
Man Ross was something else. Yeah eventhough Heaven and Mello was wrong Ross did the most. He got what he deserved in the end. Mello mama was stupid as ever. Treasure and Vegas happy they got it together
She didn't even try to better herself not one time. She was just happy with men taking care of her. Ugh. Good read as usual though. Just hated her character and mind frame.
This series has everything but the kitchen sink. The editing took away a lot from the storyline. It was entertaining to read one ratchet situation after another. The only character that was rooting for was Vegas!
This was a good read, I just wish Heaven Would have met mello with being married to his father, I know love is love but sometimes lines aren’t to be crossed ... She mostly definitely should have been kilt Ross his as would have been dead the moment he pop me
Love, deception, backstabbing, lust what more could you ask for....Love it... glad Ross got what he deserved...April is one sick puppy to choose a no good bastard over her son... Great Writing
It kept me reading through the whole thing. I love the break ups and make up. I would have loved to read Vegas and Treasures make up sex part..but we were cut short lol
I hated to see this story come to a end. From the first book and first page this story draws you in. This second part was even better. Ross Karma for how he treated Heaven came back in a way he couldn't imagine but it also sent him on a rampage looking for revenge. Ross also didn't realize that what he did to Tish would come back to haunt him. The way Heaven and Mello came together is not the idea way but sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants. However Mello had a secret he could no longer hold in. Knowing the consequences of telling Heaven. Mello took his chances and told Heaven who world was turned upside down. Heaven didn't know how she would get through knowing the truth but also knowing that Ross was behind it. Princess was a spiteful tramp. She should have known Damo wasn't going take what she doing lightly and let her just walk away. Treasure was brought to her knees when she found out who Vegas had ran too after their break-up. Although she had hurt him. Treasure couldn't fathom the thought of loosing Vegas but she also know that she was the cause of him leaving. Vegas world was shattered at what Treasure had done to him to the point he ended up with someone who he knew wasn't going to make him forget the pain in his heart because it was just a rebound. Vegas also ended up finding out what Princess and Damo was up to which had him feeling completely stupid.
Bravo, bravo, bravo Jessica n. Watkins!!! Pull out your Kleenex because chapter 2 is a bonafide tear jerker! Ross busts Heaven and Mello sharing sweet nothings and shid hits the fan for real!!! He is on killed mode and Heaven leaves. Mello loves Heaven soo much he spills the beans about Angel and Caesar. That gets him kicked off Heavens love list. Treasure is so tore up about confessing to Vegas to get rid of Damo, she tells Heaven about what her and Vegas did to Ross. Heaven cannnot trust those she loves. Lowest.one more swift kick when she decides to ask Tee Sunshine’s dad and that is a straight bust. Vegas is hilling with Princess who is working with one of his boys. Treasure is sick to hear there is a baby on the way way. Paris and Teyanna ,are still fighting over Mello not knowing his heart is with Heaven. Last result Heaven, Divine and Sunshine move in with Mello, Apryl still sleeping with Ross and sides with him on killing her son. It is some trifling , very thirsty azz women looking to take anything just to say they have a man. Once it is discovered who Mello really loves, Mello will be raising his son without Paris! Vegas and Treasure have exciting news and they are slowly changing , growing and realize they still hav much love for each other. When Ross finally seeks his revenge he has no care in the world and may the best man win! 10 Star banger!!
I liked Vegas, he was supportive, kind hearted and did not play. I was happy that in the end, he and Treasure were able to work through their problem, have a son that they both loved. Forgiveness was what was needed for them to work things out and the fact that Treasure had grownup. I did not like that scheming Princess or Damo.. There was love between Divine and her sister, Heaven. I was happy that Treasure and Heaven worked through their issues. Ross was a hateful and abusive man. I don't know who was worse, Ross or Damo. Ross tried to kill his son! Mello mother chose Ross, her baby daddy over her son. Mello and Heaven had great chemistry in spite of her being his father's wife. Hello just fell in love with Heaven. The author did a good job with this series.
I really liked the books but Heaven was really sickening. To take her child and live in a car, to struggle to feed her and then put them in harm's way was stupid. There was nothing admirable about that choice. For my child's safety and well being, I would stay with my betrayed until I could do better. I just don't think she had good sense throughout the book. Vegas was weak for sex and gullible especially where Princess was concerned. I did like Treasure and Mello. Glad Damo, Princess, and Ross got what they deserved. A few misspelled words. As a whole, pretty good.
This series was so good and full of that messy stuff. Ross was the devil, plain and simple!! Heaven was just about as close as he'll ever get to experiencing the real thing. All the drama deceit and chaos surrounding Ross is deeper than you'll ever guess. My girl Treasure just can't seem to do right and just when she thinks she's catching a break, her secret is revealed. Vegas and Treasure may never get through this nightmare. Very good read with a good dose of vengeance.
Loved it great read had you on the edge off ofoff of your seat the whole time!!! I’m glad Ross got what he deserved he is a PURE narcissist who preyed on young women!!! I’m glad that Paris and Mello life turned out as expected as well as treasure and Vegas and the rest of the family... I would recommend this book to anyone who loves urban fiction... I choose this rating because it was an easy read to follow and I love books where I can get really lost and just let my imagination run wild
