Explosive hard hitting dynamics of drama grabs hold of you pushing and pulling you from loving the Oh sooo Good demanding storyline to ripping the footing right out from under you sending you tumbling over the edge as the harsh twists repeated pummel you stripping away any hope you had then casually setting you upright again as if nothing happened you feel the weight lifting thats been an absolute presence throughout the back and forth suspense filled storyline impeding and defining the building of a relationship giving you hope and feeling the joy that forces it's way into your heart smiling taking it all in than with a turn of the page your rendered speechless as you take a hard hitting smack in the face that you knew deep down it was coming but never prepared yourself for as your left hanging on by a thread crossing your fingers hoping for more as it snips your lifeline sending your kindle flying screaming please Ghost Man you've got to give me more! An exciting must read that know matter how much you brace for the impact of the eye popping twists your never prepared for the frenzy this brilliantly written read puts you through! I'm of a mixed opinion on these two! Edward and Thea truly deserve one another, and I don't always mean that in a good way. Their sexual chemistry is off the hook, there's no denying that. At the same time, they seem to inflame each other just to get a reaction from the other. Like two small children when one gets their feelings hurt, they feel the need to retaliate. All hell is fixing to break loose and when it does, will they be able to be grown enough to acknowledge their own part in it? Wait until you see what happens in this one. You won't believe the emotional rollercoaster they keep you on.

This is the third book in Ed's storyline arc. It is not a standalone and you must read the other books first as Edward and Thea's story evolves throughout. It is also book nine in the Night of the Kings series. Although they are broken into story arcs (James, Lex and Ed), characters do re-appear in all of the books and there are often references to things that have occurred before. So for your complete understanding and total knowledge I highly recommend you start reading from book one. This whole story arc has kept me on the fence. It was impossible not to fall in love with The Kings as the series started and I have eagerly awaited each book and story arc. Honestly though I feel unsatisfied by Ed's books. To me the game he is playing is unkind, mean spirited and in my opinion, just plain wrong. To be honest, I expected a different Ed than the one I'm seeing. Sure he was a playboy. Privileged, jaded, entitled and a user of women like tissues. I mean that was who they were, everyone of them. And yet I could not help being charmed by them even if I didn't like them in the moment and that was how I felt until Ed's books started. Now I just don't like him. I'll be 100% truthful and admit that Thea isn't my favorite female lead in this series, I do not feel a big emotional attachment to her and she is not blameless in this game that these two character are stuck in. Still the whole thing leaves me with a bad feelings and general distaste. I mean maybe it's me, I'm not a younger person. To me though, lies and deceit are not the building blocks of a long lasting, meaningful relationship and I'm not sure that I will ever believe that this can be forgiven, forgotten and moved past. For me there are a few other issues but I do not wat to give spoilers so I refuse to bring them up. I do not feel I can without the risk of ruining the book for others. For me this is an ok read, I'm sure others will feel differently and that's how it's supposed to be. I do want to see how the story ends in the next book and I look forward to future releases from this author. This is my completely honest and totally voluntary review.

INSTAINSTATAINEOUS COMBUSTION!!!
Whoa baby, be warned. This baby is so hot, flames are escaping the pages. What can I say? I just read the important stuff. Yes! This is very important. Don't worry though, you could probably do with a new kindle. Shayne is freaking awesome. She rocked this baby. All the twists and turns, unexpected circumstances and unpredictable surprises around every corner make for one astronomical experience. Check that out. If that reference scale doesn't give you a clue as to the amazing qualities of this little treasure, I have no sympathy for you. Things are really cooking now. These two are off the charts explosive when they come together. It's so hot and steamy you wouldn't even think about dropping this little piece of gold. The drama, fear, insecurities, vulnerability along with increasing suspense as the storyline progresses tension spirals and the plot thickens. The characters and scenes are written with such realism it really pulls this bad boy together beautifully. Shayne did a remarkable job bringing this read to life. Magnificently done Shayne, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.

Excellent with another great final
A lot of suspense, not criminal, but to know whether or not Thea will understand that Edward manipulates her in his game between his real version and his online version, especially after the end of the previous part. But what tension, the author was able to describe all this very well. I loved it, the characters are always exceptional with Edward juggling between all his feelings, his doubts as he has the double information of his roles and Thea that seeks to be strong but who is lying about her feelings. She does not understand what her body already knows, she also doubts her because she does not understand Edward's reactions.
In this part, the true Edward opens to Thea, but he does not want to confess what he is creating and is jealous of the other him, "Ghostman", his virtual double with who Théa hesitates to continue to talk to.
This part is much torrid and ends with a cliffhanger that suggests a tumultuous end.

Ms Ford tells a superb story in the continuation of the 9th book of The Night of the Kings series. She never disappoints her readers in her dark, deep, mysterious reads. This amazing story of Edward’s and Thea’s continues with Thea still in the dark about Edward’s duplicity. Will he ever tell her the truth and can Ghost Man stay away and give Thea the love and romance she really needs, but will never admit that she does to Ed? Thea is now learning fast and is playing off Ghost Man and Ed, her choices are confusing as she has no experience of who she is or what love really is! Both Ghost Man and Ed frustrate and excite her but is this game just one big lie? Will Ed always be disconnected, making money and women is all he knows! Ed learns that Thea has an old innocent soul and Thea recognises that Edward is a lost, vulnerable soul, but can she help to change him? Edward just needs Thea to make her choices? But why does he keep testing her?

Thea and Ed come from very different backgrounds but somehow have similar needs that can only be quieted by the other. It is as if the universe has set them up to collide.
Moving forward in the relationship does not come without bumps. The journey is fraught with questions, and issues with trust. Will they find their way or will secrets and hidden agendas derail their journey?
Once again, Ford has delivered a book layered in drama, laced with raw emotion and spiced with an appropriate amount of eroticism but not so much that it overpowers the story. It ends with cliffie but you just know it also holds the promise of something well worth the wait!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review and I absolutely loved it. I am giving it 5 stars for a wonderful story that ticked so many boxes.

Taming Ed by Shayne Ford (who by the way is AMAZING). I love reading her stories. Hot alpha males and strong women, what a fantastic combo. For as much as I love Ed, sometimes I want to bump him on the head and tell him to stop being so stupid though. Now that Ghost Man has been discovered… I can hardly wait to see how he reacts or better yet how she reacts as the next book in series starts. Another cliffhanger but I knew that going into this series…I absolutely love this story and highly recommend it to others! I was graciously given an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

OMG, wow, I don't know how to put into words how incredible this book was to read. Loved it. It picks up from where the last book left off and we see Ed and Thea's relationship start to develop although Ed does have his way of playing games as we see. Taking Ed has you wanting more and more bug you see Thea change and grow. The book is full if intrigue and chemistry, emotion and raw passion. We are left again on an enormous cliffhanger but a fabulous one that you will love. A must read. Book four can't come soon enough.

In this book an opportunity arose where Thea spends time with Edward and GhostMan is almost history. Thea is aware of Ed’s reputation and tries to stay emotionally detached, but it is easier said than done with all the cajoling and mind games going on. Taming Ed is a great continuation of the series, it's deep, emotionally charged, has great dialogue and hot sexy scenes. Looking forward to what happens next.

This whirlwind love affair has amazing steam, drama, twists, shock value and immature behavior between the two love interests. It will be interesting to see just how childish and retaliatory these two can be, and if they can even recognise their own culpability in the drama surrounding them. The reader needs to continue in order to access the answers. This book does end on a cliffhanger and the anticipation continues to grow. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review

We pick up were we left Ed and Thea's story, Like previous stories plenty of chemistry that s off hook, Theres so many twists and turns that had me hang on by a thread kept me flipping to next page. Such an addicting series!
Edward and Thea’s journey filled with secrets and lies continues. Their relationship develops more and gives me the heat level that I look forward to from this author. She once again gives us an epic ending that will keep us in suspense once more in this addicting series that gets better and better. Can’t wait for the next installment of this really great read.

The title may say Taming ED, but it's a far cry from its title you can't tame a wild stallion. Praises go to Shayne for this train ride that picks up speed with each book until your holding on so tight just to keep from falling off with each new revelation. The repartee between Ghost / ED and CALI GIRL / Thea keeps me pulling for them and hoping that when Thea makes the connection that things don't blow apart. I'm so looking forward to book# 4 and can only hope I won't have long to wait.

I loved this book! The author has a way with description and creativity. I don't think I have read a book that wasn't awesome from this author. This story is really well written. Sometimes I felt what the characters were going through. The characters are likeable yet sometimes frustrating! Sometimes I wanted to slap Ed! Very good read and a must read you will not regret it!

Not Kings But Overgrown Boys
Let’s not even get into the fact that a billionaire businessman’s phone isn’t password protected let’s discuss the Kings. Three men but really a boy’s club. Can only love women who prove to them that they love them more. They always grin wolfishly..never a genuine smile, or an affectionate grin but wolfishly. The don’t turn around they pivot, never move closer but erase space and we all know by now that James’ lighter clicks before he lights the unfiltered end of his cigarette. Each one of them forced and enjoyed making their girls profess how much they love and needed them. I believe that none of them would be able to have a relationship with a fully grown, self sufficient, independent mature woman. This is why they set their sights on just out of high schoolers. They enjoy playing games with these girls and trampling on their emotions. Lex was the worse and Ed’s not much better. Maybe this author doesn’t know what a real man is...Jesse Ward, from the This Man Series, Cameron Cole from The Enthrall Series..these guys are just small boys trying to act like big men. None of them could handle a real woman.

If you thought the story was simmering before now it's near boiling point. The Ghost Man truly becomes his name & the courtship begins! Lies, suspense, lust & drama to the keep you glued to the pages. Thea finally realizes the nature of her actions as Ed interprets them as well as his way reciprocating.It all comes to a head & the dam is about to break! This is one of those cliffhangers that will make you crazy to get to the next book!

This is just too crazy
I would have given this crazy book five stars if it weren’t for the horrendous grammar. There are responses in some of the conversations that don’t even make sense. I guess that fits with this book, but James sounds like an idiot in this book, where he didn’t in his or Alex’s books. Anyway…we could all see the trouble coming and Lex called it. Guess we’ll see what the damage is in the next book.

At least not as many errors
While the story may be good, just how many times can you regurgitate the same thing before this becomes boring? Cause it is definitely beginning to make this story boring. We all know what comes next after the first six books, why stretch this guy’s story to four books? Really? At least the errors aren’t quite as profuse.

The story continues for Ed and Thea. This is the third book for Ed and it is NOT a standalone. It's smoking hot and it will keep you reading from page one to the end. You will love/Hate Ed lol but it's so worth it. He is slowly becoming my favorite King

I wish these books were all in one book. The short books with a cliffhanger are a little bit frustrating. I am also kind of annoyed with the main female character. She is so wishy washy and it’s getting really annoying!
