Discover your divine purpose and live the life you were meant to live with this inspirational and deeply spiritual guide. Who am I? Why am I here? What is my purpose? These are questions we have all asked ourselves at some point in our lives. Though we know ourselves best, it can be difficult to separate who we are from who we want to be or how others see us. We present so many different versions of ourselves to the world that our true identity can get lost in the process. Maybe you’ve been on a steady path for a while, and you’re only now beginning to question if you’ve been heading in the right direction. Maybe you’ve wandered all your life with no direction at all. Either way, writer and spiritual guide Janet Conner offers the tools to reconnect with ourselves and the divine purpose affixed to our souls. Read Find Your Soul’s Purpose and An inspirational and spiritual book with a soul-community creator as your guideRenewal of meaning in your day-to-day lifeA journey to finding yourself and your divine purpose
In Writing Down Your Soul: How to Activate and Listen to the Extraordinary Voice Within, Janet Conner tells a profound story of what actually happens in our hearts, minds, and souls when we write with the intention of accessing divine wisdom. Not content to have simply experienced the life-changing power of writing, Janet set out to uncover the science that explains why writing by hand is the single most effective vehicle into unconscious mind and beyond. Weaving together the most potent elements, Janet presents a simple, modern process that anyone can use to access the wisdom that waits just below the conscious surface. With this practical tool at your disposal, you'll know exactly how to ask for and receive the guidance you need to create the life you want. "
Some parts applicable and inspiring, other parts not so much. What I do appreciate about Janet is that she acts as a guide for your journey, not as a know it all with pat answers. Worth the time for spiritual explorers. Part of a larger series of books/classes called The Five Things Your Soul Wants.
The basic premise of this book is a spiral. Thinking about life as a spiral, going back to when you were born, finding and rediscovering what brings you joy in life, meditation on your purpose, and refocusing on what you are being called to do in this lifetime. A good read if you want to recommit yourself to your life’s purpose.
Not in the mood for this book at the moment. It is languishing on my shelf for now. I just wanted to know more about soul writing. The book has helped. My current focus is memoir, writing and research for future writing projects. Plenty of tools included here for those interested in personal development and creative visualisation. Online meditations accompany the book.
