Note the description of this book and the title is not the same as the book I was given to read. I'm not sure why, but be sure you can handle it be fore you buy it. At first I was not going to finish this book, but I started reading chapter 5 and decided to finish it. Esmirelda has been bullied in high school and now, her nemesis back to do it in college. When her tormentor pushes her and Michael catches her, there is something there. He gives her hard love, where her family always walks on tiptoes. If you can't handle suicide and abuse. Do not read this book. It brings some hard truths into the story. Going from one bad situation to another. What will happen to Esmirelda? What will Michael do to help her? Who is more abusive? What will happen when everything hits a head? I will say a lot of this happens, but I cannot agree with some of what went on with Esmirelda and Michael. Its a hard situation to write about, and effects people in different ways.

HUH

I am so confused by what I just read. This book is NOT what the description says. I decided to give it a chance anyways. This is the hottest of hot messed I have ever read. The book is literally all over the place, there are TONS of started and unfinished storylines and ideas, then the book just ends. Just like that. I feel like this author has potential, but someone needs to give him/her some serious feedback. HONEST feedback. I was more confused than anything, found I didn't care about what happened to either character, and never got sucked into the story. I was more interested when I was trying to figure out where the boy from high school came in. I love bully books, especially series so I MIGHT give these authors another chance, but it won't be anytime soon.

The author has given us characters we can connect with. Esmirelda has been bullied for years and there is no end in sight when she runs into the bully at the college she attends. Michael just happens to be there when Esmirelda is pushed down the stairs and is able to keep her from breaking her neck. He takes it upon himself to show Esmirelda how strong she actually is and she helps him deal with his own issues.

Misleading but good

When I read the blurb on what the book was about, it said that he bullied her in high school, however it is truly about a girl that is bullied by another girl and he helps her become her full potential. When I first realized that the blurb mislead me, I was already addicted to the book, too late to write it off as a loss and move on. I then continued reading falling in love with the main characters. This book received a four due to some areas that the author didn’t expand on that left questions in my mind, however, it did not stop me from reading.

I'm not even sure where to start with this review. This is the first book I've read by C.C. Piper and I'm sitting here with my heart in my throat for several reasons. Truthfully, there are enough reviews on this book right now to give a brief synopsis, so I'm not going to do that. What I am going to say is this is a dark, intriguing, troubling, chemistry filled storyline that kept me glued to the pages until it was finished. As many triggers as there could be for someone who has them, I have to say, I want to know where our author goes with this.

ARC review I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. 10 stars for cuteness and great writing . Esmeralda is being bullied enough that she has been cutting herself and self harming to the point she has tried suicide. But when Marissa the bully hurts her Michael saved her from her hurt more witch sets them on a path together . I have to say this story shows you that sometimes what you need and what's best is not always the way to go. Awesome job.

It was extremely boring. I didn't connect with any of characters, didn't relate to any events, actions or reactions. I can't even say if it was written well or not because I so had to pressure myself into finishing reading it,that it overshadowed everything. Btw,the description of story is completely misleading and have nothing to do with the book. Needless to say,I will not continue with next installment, but will look for something less boring to read.

Can't recommend it.

Couldn’t finish the book

I enjoy reading bully romances but I read 35% this book...this book sucks. It’s ridiculous how the Main character lets her girl bully from high school bully/physically hurt her in college & you feel no connection to the main character. I don’t recommend wasting your time on this book. Skip it!!

Meh

This was book was just meh... not horrible.. but not something that I was into. I DNF. I found myself bored. The characters where unrepeatable. The writing style was mediocre at best. The author failed in the angst. It just saddened me because with a great writer this book would have been great because the premise and plot of the story was good.

Rescued

A riveting story! I kept waiting to see what would happen next. To be so young and experience such pain. Both of the main characters have very strong determination. They were the support for each other.

Fast paced prequel. Get a little confused on the different girls at the college. Decent story overall. Maybe the series will be better.

This is a first book by this author for me. I will need to read a full length book to see how I like.

So the description of the book is wrong and although the book obviously deals with emotional difficult topics the author managed to bring out zero emotions from me the reader. Did not finish and bored as fuck....

love Esmeralda and Michael

I loved this story, but the end just stopped. There was no completion or finish. It’s like they are in the middle of a conversation and the book ends almost. That is why I did not give it 5 stars

Good read

It's good book, the protagonist grows stronger as the relationship grows between them. There's no major misunderstandings and both of them are pretty straightforward

Tempt Me Bully is about Esmirelda a young woman who has been bullied since she was in high school. While in college she finds out her bully from high school is there too and tries pushing her down some stairs. That's when she meets Michael as he is in the right place at the right time to save her from her bully. I loved how the relationship between Michael and Esmirelda grows and they fall in love but I wasn’t' expecting their relationship to head to the dark side. Although I enjoyed reading the first book in the Deer Valley College series I was a bit confused because this was nothing like the story explained in the blurb. But, I will be continuing on with this series if it continues Esmirelda and Michael's story. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Natali and Sergeant are smoking! I know this is a prequel and it leaves you with wanting more so I can't wait to see what else happens. I love second chance romances and Natali and Sergeant is exactly that with a great story and background. I liked reading how they navigated their second chance again and Sergeant proving himself to her.

Spoilers Ahead

Ok, so I really tried with this one, and I could not get it. I think the synopsis had it wrong. So Esmeralda was being bullied by Madison in high school but now she's in college and she still being bullied by her and now this guy name Micheal. Micheal is telling her all these mean things but yet he's saving her at the same time. She's cutting her self and he's taking the time to call her an idiot and that he really only wants to bone her and she's cool with all this. In my opinion he separated her from family and few little friends she did have and she's like "I'm seeing the light"Like honestly nothing made sense in this story. I might need to go back and read this again or something because this was beyond confusing. I do not know if I want to continue on to the next

Book Review: Tempt Me Bully
Author: C. C. Piper
Four Stars
Maybe due to the length and just my inability to connect fully with the characters but I was left wanting in this. I hope that since this is just a prequel that I am able to get more involved with the full story once it is released.
However with that being said, the writing is solid and the story line is full of potential and I am sure that the first book will be great. Ms. Piper really has the basis for a great story. I can definately see the creeper and am curious to see where this goes and whats going to happen next.

A first for me reading this author. Natali and Sergeant grew up together, grew up being more, til Sergeant made a mistake of leaving his one true love behind, now he has a chance to proving his reasons and love. Natali isnt sure if she can trust Sergeant, she wants to cause she never really stopped loving him, but life happens and neither are the same.
