About the author

I found books when I was going through a hard time in life. They became my means of escape when things got bad. I realized quickly how much I loved to take a backseat to someone else's life and watch the journey unfold. That began my journey with books in November of 2012. I constantly had a book open on my Kindle app. Never in a million years would I have imagined myself as a writer, because I never thought I was creative enough. I'm living proof that things will fall into place when they're meant to be. People will make their way into our lives when we don't expect it, setting the path for what we are meant to do. Never give up on people. Never stop taking a chance on others. Someone took a chance on trusting me with her work when she didn't know me from a stranger on the street and gave me the opportunity of a lifetime as our relationship progressed, which led me to editing and writing as well. This is my dream I never knew I had. As soon as I sat down and gave writing a shot, it was like the floodgates opened. Now, I am lost in a world of fiction in my head, new characters constantly screaming for their stories to be told. Continue to dream and to go for them. Okay, I'm such a cheater marking this as a double read when I separately reviewed each of the 4 books telling Breyson's & Kinzleigh's story, BUT I need the extra books. Goodreads says I'm currently 50 books behind schedule. I have no idea how I'm supposed to read 80 more books before January.

Wow, I'm proud of myself for reading over 1,100 pages. I was intimidated a little bit by the length of the 4 books, but I'm so glad I took a chance on the series! I highly recommend "Soulmates by Fate"!

Accepting Fate by Charisse Spiers

Wow just wow where do I begin? This book was my second book by Charisse. I actually read Chasing Fate first because I was given that book. Once I read that book I was so blown away that I went an bought all her other books which leads me to Accepted Fate.
It follows Kinzleigh Baker and Breyson Abercrombie. I truly adored this book it was beautifully written with thought out characters full of depth and emotion.
Kinzleigh a soon to be senior is a good girl with a heart of gold but is determined to never fall in love, and she has built a wall around her heart to protect herself especially since she seen the damage love has caused her brother. Then Breyson and and a flying volleyball come crashing into her life full steam ahead.
Breyson is visiting his cousin from Mississippi and meets Kinzleigh a girl who he can't get out of his mind. The only problem is she won't give him her number or where she's going to be moving.
Can there hearts survive after all is said and done? Oh and what a cliffhanger be still my heart!!!! Onto the next book Changing Fate.

Changing Fate by Charisse Spiers

I adored this book! It's the second book in the series and continues Kinzleigh and Breyson journey. Kinzleigh has just moved into her new house in Mississippi and things are beginning to look up when she meets her new neighbor Adalynn. She informs her there is a place on the cheerleading squad for her. Maybe her senior year won't be so bad. Well if she can stop thinking of certain southern blue eyed boy.
Breyson can't concentrate because all he can think about is the beautiful girl Kinzleigh he left in California with no way to contact. Then two weeks into school he discovers she is right here in his very own school and he never knew. When they see each other in the hallway everything and everyone just fades away it just the two of them.

One of my favorite quotes from the book:

Their journey is epic heartbreaking, soul searching, heartfelt, emotional gutwrenching romantic loving rollercoaster ride that will leave you ugly crying by the end. Oh my what a cliffhanger be still my runaway heart!

Twisting Fate by Charisse Spiers

This is the third book in the series and wow just wow what an incredible emotional gutwrenching rollercoaster ride this one turned out to be. I don't like the way you are messing around with Kinzleigh and Brayden it's doing a number on my heart and manicure Charisse!!! Lol 😢 I'm not sure how much more my emotions can endure. You are a skilled storyteller I feel as if I'm there with them experiencing all that life throws them. I feel their laughter, love,joy, pain and soul crushing sorrow. This book wasn't what I expected but lord knows it had me so emotionally invested in what was going to happen next. I was angry ,frustrated, and even cried a few times. I loved the new characters and even the old ones and hope to see them get their own story some day. I must say your ending are going to be the death of me, holy hell really!
I'd give it more than 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 if I could.

Lasting Fate (Fate Series Book 4) by Charisse Spiers

There couldn't have been a more perfect ending to series unless it never ended. I will never be able to express just how much I LOVE this series. It was an incredible journey for Kinzleigh and Breyson that had me on an emotional rollercoaster. At times I was ugly crying, screaming and cursing why, and other times laughing, smiling and happy crying. There were so many twist and turns,trials and tribulations that I thought how much more can they endure?
They were so beautiful together and had so many beautiful quotes that I just pick a few of my favorite ones.

"I love you. I've never needed anything like I need you. I don't care how many times the sun rises or sets as long as I'm watching it with you. I don't care whether we're rich or poor, as long as I'm with you. I don't care if we live on a beachfront property or in an open field, as long as I live with you. Nothing has meaning to me if I can't experience it with you. Don't you see? My heart will always belong...to you."

"First time I laid eyes on you in that bikini on the beach. Your body is sexier to me than any other woman I've ever set my sight on. Truth? Those few marks across your stomach verify that my baby had a place to grow. That baby weight proves that you helped create a miracle. Your new curves are evidence that you gave birth to our son. One look at you and I'm no less turned on than I ever was before. I want you more now than I ever have."

I love the bond between Kinzleigh and Karsyn. How Karsyn pledges her friendship her "womance." It was truly a beautiful moment. Which brings me to this part in the book.

"Friends are like angels. They are always watching over you, even if from afar, and they are always by your side when you need them. It doesn't matter if they have to drop what they're doing to get there. Everywhere you turn in life there are little gifts from God to get you through life. It's up to us to recognize them when they come."

The Fate Series was my first read by Charisse Spiers and will not be my last. This entire series has captivated me. I love all the characters but my favorite couple by far is Breyson and Kinsleigh. It was amazing to see them fall in love. They are put through so many challenges. Most of the challenges you can relate to if you have ever been in a series relationships. This goes to show you that fate can bring two people together. If you love romance, drama, suspense then check this book out. Their chemistry is fire!!!!

AMAZING!!!!

I am mad at myself for not finding this series or this Author sooner!
I don't usually enjoy books with a couple so young.... but this was just WOW! I am invested and will continue with every book in the series. As much as I am looking forward to reading their friend's stories... this couple will always be my favorite! I am glad I read the box set as it would have made me crazy with the cliffhangers and waiting for the next book to be released.

Please make this a movie

I am in love with Breyson and Kinzleigh. This book has everything. Tears of joy and sadness, heartbreak, romance, love, and growing up. I would love to see this in a movie. I would recommend this book to anybody that loves romance. I cannot wait to read the rest of the series

Soulmates

I was skeptical of this series but man I am soooo glad I started reading it. This was such a good read, not boring at all. New to me author and loved her story of Breyland and Kinzleigh. It was a awesome read!

I loved the first 3 books and first part of book 4…. After that the last 3/4 of book 4 seemed to drag on and it was hard to focus on story line. Over all this Is a good book of love, tragedy, family and learning to live.

Just okay

All in all a cute series of books, but book 3 was so long and so unnecessary. It nearly ruined it for me. I almost put it down.
