GOD, how I love the worlds that Amo builds. Truly. The way she weaves the storyline has my mind working overtime to see how it is all going to fit together. And every single time I think I have it, I don’t. I just don’t, and it is the reason I love her at story telling.
Amo seems to know just what I love when it comes to a dark hero - depraved, violent, and an a**hole. Doesn’t sound like someone you should love, but do I ever and I don’t know if I’ve loved one of her characters like Kill (shhhhh, don’t tell Nate). Killian just has that something, the charisma that lures you into his trap, the smile that hides his sharp teeth ready to tear you in two. And I’d let him, gladly. He is the villain with a heart, and dare I say he might be Amo’s dirtiest and swooniest hero EVER.
Saskia is the perfect counterpart to Killian. She pushes and taunts and fights him. Their relationship is filled with banter and the push and pull I love. His black heart matches hers, and I know I’ve said it, but it bears repeating, these two have some rough, hot, dirty times. Phew. It got HOOOOOTTTT. As readers learn about Saskia, they will love her just as much as Kill and see how she pushes his evolution as a character.
This story takes place in the same world as In Peace Lies Havoc, but their story is completely different from the previous couple. It still has all the twists and turns we love and expect from an Amo Jones book, but the romance...Amo legitimately stepped up the romance game (it is still dark, but the romance is amped up). Some swoon-worthy lines fell from his lips as he coupled them with darkness. The perfect juxtaposition that encompasses Amo’s worlds and writing. It is a wild ride, and the layering is truly some of her very best, but I really loved the topics and themes of soulmates and forgiveness and trust and how elemental they are to love. Add to that the cameos and the next couple shown at the end, and I never want this world to end.
My love for Kill and Saskia is next level. This world, these couples, and their stories are really more than I ever thought they would be. It is darkly romantic, complex and riveting, and speaks of a love that truly survives against the odds, of soulmates with dark hearts that click. It is dark romance perfection.

How do you go about writing up a review when the book consumed you, it took over your life and spat you out at the end after closing that last page and leaving you numb..Book by book this author is holding us captive with her words, she's taken the book world by storm as she goes from strength to strength with each book and 'In Fury Lies Mischief' was no different. She nailed it!! This book deserves more than 5 stars!!
The beauty of Saskia was placed on this earth specifically from God to taunt me for all my wrong doings. Only Saskia isn't from heaven. No, Saskia isn't sent from God. That kind of beauty is crafted from evil.
Killian in the kind of wild you want to run away with, not cage. He's an untamed animal, turbulent and vicious.
It captivated me as soon as I opened that very first page, right up until the last. I love this world, high octane of feels, Killian and the gang put all previous book boyfriends to shame.
Another amazing cover, another amazing read!!
This book ticked so many boxes, from the enemies to lovers, to the nail biting stunts, to the hot filthy sex, the twists and turns, the dark and grit went hand in hand, these two were perfect for each other. Unique, Unputdownable, Utterly addictive!! Amo Jones set up the stage perfectly..!!

OMG!! Amo Jones did the damn thing ONCE AGAIN!! In Fury Lies Mischief was legit FIRE!!! I was mesmerized and consumed from the first page. Killian and Saskia were basically a cauldron of explosiveness that never let up from the getgo. And honestly, I thought King was everything - but Killian? God Almighty! Jones broke the mold with him. HE IS THE BEST HERO SHE HAS WRITTEN TO DATE!! I NEVER WANT TO LEAVE THIS WORLD!!!!
What I love most about reading an Amo Jones book is feeling like I am coming home. Her stories hit the spot and I never want them to end. I thought I knew who Killian was after reading book one, but honestly I HAD NO IDEA. This man had hidden facets upon hidden facets that I could only dream of. Ladies and Gentlemen- he was beyond sexy and addicting. He was edgy and intense and like a drug - I need more!!! I am so in love with him it isn't even funny!!! The minute he rolled up on the page I sat at attention. I loved his fierceness and the way he was drawn to Saskia. Their connection could not be denied. Likewise, Sass was the epitome of an Amo Jones heroine. She was so damn strong but also filled with real vulnerabilities and raw emotions hidden deep inside. She was closed up on the outside but when she loved, she loved deep and all consuming.
Overall this story was hands down magnificent. The sexy and fiery banter, the passion, the deep love and loyalty within the brothers and sisters of Kiznitch, the fantastic playlist I read along with, the sensual and mystical vibe of Midnight Mayhem itself and the dark and hidden secrets of this world we are only just learning about took my breath away. I am so here for the next book and look forward to more from Jones in the future!! Killian and Saskia are hands down 5 Star Goals!!! Bravo! ~Ratula

OMG! I definitely wasn't ready for this story. In Fury Lies Mischief is something out of this world, dark, gritty, sexy, angst, an explosion of feelings and magic that blew out my mind, wow, I have no words to describe it; It's a MASTERPIECE, I couldn't put it down a single second.
Killian, dear God, is my FAVORITE HERO BY THE AUTHOR, he is a handsome evil, cocky, he exudes sensuality and mischief, a single smile of his can set your panties on fire, and he is as addictive as a drug, you can never have enough of him, he awakened in me feelings that connected me in a deep way to him. Saskia is a mysterious girl we know little about. She is an ambivalence, innocent but rude, vulnerable but brave, so badass and sassy. I loved her.
Kill and Saskia are pure fire, their explosive attraction is so scorching hot, so intense, I loved their interactions, their constant full and push, their challenges and their banter. They are like two magnets whose magnetic forces are attracted to each other like invisible threads, and I loved getting into their minds and their darkest thoughts, they also made me swooned so hard.
Gradually more secrets and mysteries are revealed and new twists and events left me with my soul in my mouth, on the edge of the seat and turning the pages as if my life depended on it.
The story consumed me in a vortex of magic, mystery, hedonism and sensuality. Scene after scene unfold vividly before my eyes like a movie that owned my senses and enthralled me in a unique way. The author created an amazing world that still vibrates through my blood, I feel it beating with my heart. Midnight Mayhem is an addiction that you can't get enough of. Get ready for a book hangover of hell. I can't wait for the next one.

aight first of all, that cover is making me feel some type of way... i mean damn. the cover model is
the tattoo, the clown makeup, the abs... k MOVING ON (sorry, quarantine is making me crazy).
so this book is about Killian Cornelii, 1/4 of the Brothers of Kiznitch whos the funny one and who has “telekinesis” and mind illusion powers, and Saskia Royal, the new recruit and member of Persephone's (h from first book) group. this is their story and it’s another plotline revolving around amnesia, mind games, and petty drama.
i kinda liked this better than the first book but not by much. i connected with the characters in the beginning but then it declined towards the middle and the went up again near the end. i swear, every good thing (development, connection, etc.) that should've happened throughout the book ALWAYS happens near the end, like, why?
➳ romance
the romance here is similar to what happened in the first book and to summarize on how Killian "wooed" Saskia:
does this sound familiar? if it does, then ladies (and gentlemen), you have also been a victim of the fuckboy wooing .
but in all seriousness, this aspect was my least favorite. they just seemed so wishy-washy and don't seem to care if they're with other people, at least in the beginning and middle part (mostly on h's side). i also personally don't like it when MCs relationship is just all about sex. i was expecting a bunch of banter here since this is Killian's book but nope. it was just sex sex sex.
i need substance and emotional connection instead of just the MCs being attracted to one another physically because it'll lead to their relationship being all superficial, which will then lead me to NOT believing the MCs when they finally say their "i love yous". and that's what happened here. they tell us their soulmates but it's NEVER shown. so yeah i don't believe it. sorry.

i LOVED Killian in the first book because his friendship with Persephone was so cute but he seemed like a different person here. he just became your typical NA hero who's constantly saying the h is hot and he wants her. like, what happened to the funny guy from the first book?
i liked Saskia in the beginning because when Killian was wooing her she didn’t give in

ugh guys, it was SO CLOSE. but alas the heroine is another victim of betraying body syndrome . let's pray for her.
oh! let's not forget the scene where h thought H had a foursome with OW but still sleeps with him the next day. how romantic.
to be fair, the betraying body syndrome here isnt as annoying as the first book mainly because i already liked Killian so i didn’t really care but still. Saskia just gave out the "im not like other girls" vibes cuz shes a “loner but beautiful”, smokes cigarettes and weed, and drinks, etc. and i just couldn't connect with her. she was just so bland and nothing about her interests me. so far, the heroines in this series are unrelatable and hard to connect with. i don't know, there's just something off about them.
➳ OW drama
Killian uses Callan (OW and another group member from Saskia's group) to taunt Saskia. in the beginning, they slept together but there's no scene and it was inferred they were "doing it on the regular" before the heroine. after Killian and Saskia get together, he uses Callan to make Saskia jealous or to push her away. there’s also this one scene where H lets his own cousin watch him and h have sex... isn’t that lowkey.. incest? whatever. i didn't really care about this drama as it wasn't too bad, it was just really annoying and petty.
➳ friendship
this is my favorite aspect in the book! to be honest, Saskia and Val's (the "OW"/meangirl in the first book) friendship was so cute and wholesome to read. their development is WAY better than Saskia's and Killian's. i was looking forward to their friendship more than the romantic interaction between the MCs since their interaction is predictable (always having sex).

i'll still read the next book cuz the characters are pretty interesting and i like the friendship dynamics but the romance and the writing so far are just meh.

this is my favorite aspect in the book! to be honest, Saskia and Val's (the "OW"/meangirl in the first book) friendship was so cute and wholesome to read. their development is WAY better than Saskia's and Killian's. i was looking forward to their friendship more than the romantic interaction between the MCs since their interaction is predictable (always having sex).

When I take an Amo book or write a review about it I just can't help myself. I'm flooding the story all the time. It is what it brings out of me. I read from a lot of authors, but she's my BEST EVER.
The highlight of my life when I start to read a new book from Amo. Everytime when I got her books in my hands, the real world is disappears. From that moment only that world exists what Amo's created. And this world ruined me. Fucking. Ruined. Me. This feeling, this characters! I can't explain with words. This is FUCKING EPIC.
I thought there is no character who I liked better than King. I was wrong, again. KILLIAN IS PERFECT. He is occupant and savage but simultaneously he is a protector and a real likeable character. We can know a new heroine. She is Saskia. Her character has long been a mystery to me. I didn't understand if she didn't know about Killian why did she fight so vehemently against. However, that there is no escaping, because, yes it's LOVE. Twisted, dark and maybe ugly, but LOVE. Meanwhile, I felt that this whole thing isn't that simple. Something is happening in the background. Somewhere there is a missing piece which makes it a whole picture. I thought nothing new, already she can't surprise me. Yeah, I was wrong, again. She masterfully twist the story. The whole thing taking place before my eyes and I didn't see. She did it again, she gave us a PERFECT STORY again. Although I still don't understand why I'm so surprised...You need to read!!!!

What have I just read… My mind is completely blown away. I feel like Amo Jones has compelled me and threw in a different dimension, where reality blends with something out of this world. I have no words to describe what this sorceress of an author just did… I’m so consumed with Midnight Mayhem that I don’t know how to act in a normal world. Can someone remind me what year it is and what’s currently happening on Earth?
There is no proper way to explain the storyline of this spectacular book. All I will say is that in order to experience it fully you have to go into it blind. Every detail, description or event is important in general and each of these surprises allows us to feel the impact of this story deep to the bone.
Killian and Saskia are amazing characters, precisely detailed, perfectly imperfect and astonishing. I never knew what behavior I could expect from them and what they will do. They made me gasp, cover my mouth from shock and clutch for my chest. I wanted to shake them, slap them and hold them tight. The push and pull between them made my head spin, but they shared such an incredible bond that I wanted them together all the time. And their passion? It was raw, intense, consuming and dirty. There are few things that could embarrass me, but Kill and Saskia’s intimacy definitely made my eyes pop out of my head and my face turn crimson.
Killian is a guy who instantly makes you obsessed with him. Like some kind of drug, he lures you with his undeniable charm, flirting and promise of good time just to switch his personality to intense, dangerous and cruel bastard. But he’s so addictive that you’ll let him fool you every time. You’ll allow him to caress and daze you, just so he can bite you and steal a part of your soul.
Saskia turned out to be the biggest mystery and I loved to peel off all of her layers. She’s a mix of vulnerability and power. She’s both delicate and tough, innocent and deadly. She keeps her walls up and her heart guarded, but also cares deeply for the ones close to her.
Jones proved that she’s the biggest trickster ever, because with her captivating words she’s taking control over our thoughts and emotions, and we’re just like puppets asking for more. Amo Jones kills it once again! In Fury Lies Mischief was raw, twisted, dark, edgy, and filled with dark goodness. I thought I had a pretty good idea of who Killian was from In Peace Lies Havoc but dang was I wrong. There are so many complex layers to Killian that just when you think you are starting to get a grasp on his story Amo pulls the rug right from under you. Killian is an amalgamation I tried to solve, but instead just sat back and enjoyed the ride.
Then there was Saskia. No one writes strong, resilient heroines quite like Amo Jones does. Despite the real vulnerabilities and flaws her heroines share that make them human just like the rest of us, she also shows just how strong one can be. That despite living through difficult times in ones life, one can always find strength and resiliency in themselves and those around them that support them. Saskia is the epitome of strength and resiliency. I was utter awe of her. And damn is she doesn’t give Killian a run for his money!
Once again Amo creates an explosive and captivating story that I can completely loose myself within. As I read it was like I became a part of the story. I got lost in the characters words and emotions, in the crazy world that is Midnight Mayhem. In Fury Lies Mischief was one of those stories that demanded your attention and you were all too happy to oblige. There is something so unique and special about this world that Amo has created. Midnight Mayhem is like this larger than life world one goes to to live out ones deepest darkest desires and fantasies. It draws you in and never lets you go.

How can something so dark be so beautiful I don’t know but I know it’s something I need! I also know Amo is the only one who can fill that! Her stories weave a web of bloody lies and twisted tales that I can’t ever get enough of!
The brutal honest truth at the heart of every Amo story is that sometimes blood isn’t thicker than water and the “families” that we find in the bonds of friendship are stronger than anything because you need trust and you need love to form those bonds!
In the very darkest corners of Amo’s stories you will find the most beautiful souls and that shows how truly talented Jones is!
Killian’s story is full of what I have come to love in an Amo story! It’s full of the most twisty twists (yes that’s a mouthful but this book is MIND-BLOWING) and when you think you have Kiznitch figured out BOOM you’re slammed with new insight that leaves you reeling! I am in awe of this group of dark people and I have fallen in love with each one! I know the road is paved with more darkness and bumpier roads but I’m here for all of it!

In Fury Lies Mischief is undoubtedly the best story by Amo Jones till date . The depth of storyline and characters. The emotions messing my heart and soul. Pure addictive, depraved and sensational chemistry. If you think Amo Jones played games with your heart before, you are not even ready for In Fury Lies Mischief. Because this is a new level of dark and twisted perfection from the queen of angst!
You should read the first book, In Peace Lies Havoc to fully grasp this mysterious world of Midnight Mayhem and Brothers of Kiznitch. They are not an entertainment show. They definitely are not a circus. They are a group of powerful and sinister people without conventional sense of moral boundaries. They are bound by loyalty. The brothers would kill and die for family. And the exact reason for Killian to not trust Saskia aka Sass. She is the dancer and the fire bender. But she had secrets she herself doesn't know and it's Killian's duty to unveil them. Unless he gets unravelled by the beauty first. The danger from is coming and they have to face some brutal truths. Now it will either break them or make them one.

I love this world so much. Midnight Mayhem is gritty, dark, and so fucked up, but it's everything our little black hearts need. 😏

In Fury Lies Mischief was everything I was hoping for. I was captivated from page one. This story is crazy, it's dark, it's hot as hell, it's just so damn good! It will keep you on your toes the entire time. Killian and Saskia have such a crazy, hot as hell, push and pull between them. These two, whoo! Saskia and Killian were damn hot. She is the perfect match for him. I can't wait for everyone else to get to read these two. You will not be disappointed.
And Saskia, girl. I obviously loved her, but I'm not gonna talk much about her. It's best just to get to know her when you read it.
I was up entirely too late reading, but I just couldn't put it down. It's the same thing I experienced with the first book. This world and these characters just suck you in. Amo's writing is the type of magic you look for in books. It makes you disappear into a fictional world and forget your own reality until you're jolted back when you realize the book is over. It's an amazing journey.
Also, make sure to listen to Amo's playlist while reading. It gives the story a whole new depth and feeling while reading. It makes it so much more immersive. And now every time I hear one of the songs it will remind me of a specific scene or just the book in general, and who doesn't want that!? Plus Amo has fantastic taste in music as well as being an amazing writer.

I absolutely love it when a book can make you feel everything with the characters, and Amo does this so well. There is so much emotion and depth in In Fury Lies Mischief. You know those books that make you smile simply from how damn good it is, and you just can't help it? I was smiling from page one. I have been so hyped to read Killian's book. I absolutely loved him in In Peace Lies Havoc, and dayum, this boy did not disappoint.
He's Midnight Mayhems trickster, but his games are so much fun.
In Fury Lies Mischief was everything I was hoping for. I was captivated from page one. This story is crazy, it's dark, it's hot as hell, it's just so damn good! It will keep you on your toes the entire time. Killian and Saskia have such a crazy, hot as hell, push and pull between them. These two, whoo! Saskia and Killian were damn hot. She is the perfect match for him. I can't wait for everyone else to get to read these two. You will not be disappointed.
And Saskia, girl. I obviously loved her, but I'm not gonna talk much about her. It's best just to get to know her when you read it.

Freaking amazing! Amo Jones slays it with In Fury Lies Mischief. I am so in love with Killian and his mind fckery, alpha ways and gah, just everything. And my lady boner couldn’t get any harder for Saskia! The author penned a dark romance worthy of infinite stars as she take us on a journey of mayhem and mischief with complex characters and twisted conflict. The darkness, loathing, mistrust and love that flow between Killian and Saskia will have you on the edge of your seat. The author dominated my mind with her words and she weaved a tale of debauchery tangled up in darkness that will leave you speechless. If you haven’t started this series yet I highly recommend it!!

5 black heart stars!! Omfg I am in love again. This book is straight to top three of 2020!! I need Amo Jones to pipe down a little bit I don’t know how I can want every single asshole she writes.
This is book two in the “Midnight Mayhem” series and I don’t advise reading as a stand alone. But this can be read as a stand alone, you will just miss out some very hot men!!

This book had some hot as sin scenes. Probably some of the hottest scenes I have read. Killian is a savage. Every women needs a Killian. Damn, Saskia is a breed of her own as well. That women is all fire.
It drove me crazy to not know what the boys knew. I knew there were secrets they were holding onto but I had no clue. This book keeps you coming back. You can’t get it out of your head and now I mad at myself that it is over. I should have savored this book, but I had no will power.
Amo is one of those authors that paints you this wildly vivid picture and so you see every thing. I want to go to a Midnight Mayhem show with every fiber in my being. I want to be on those RV’s and I want to play mind games with Killian. I also fell pretty hard for some of the other guys too.
I can’t wait for the next book!!

Five amazing, twisted, mind blowing stars for this dark and gritty romance! In Fury Lies Mischief will grip you right from the first page as this author has nailed it again with her intricate storytelling and clever world building. There were heart stopping twists and turns, astounding revelations, red hot scorching scenes, and of course, intriguing characters that kept me enthralled from beginning to end.
This author never fails to create a captivating cast of characters that are dark, damaged, and so sinful that you cannot help but be pulled into their allure. And Killian, the “Trickster" is just that and then some. He is the definition of dark and depraved and pretty much everything you wish for in an anti-hero.
Saskia is a fascinating heroine. She is strong, yet vulnerable and is one of my favorite heroines by this author. I love the affect that she has on Killian and how she harnesses that push-pull between them. These two imperfect characters are in fact, perfect for each other. Their relationship is complex. The chemistry between them is intense and the magnetic force between them is palpable.
In Fury Lies Mischief is book 2 in this author’s Midnight Mayhem series, but Saskia’s and Killian’s story is uniquely their own. This book, in theory, could be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading In Peaces Lies Havoc first to get the full experience. If you like your romances raw, dark, unpredictable, and full of intrigue, then you will definitely want to pick up IFLM.

Amo Jones reached the new level of darkness and madness. I thought after In Please Lies Havoc she wouldn’t surprise me more. But In Fury Lies Mischief completely destroyed me, owned my heart, stole my breath away and left insanely addicted to every hero and their unbelievable performances.
Amo Jones well played me with Killian and Saskia’s story. In Fury Lies Mischief is an unputdownable enemies to lovers story filled with uncontrolled passion, chemistry, and raw feelings. You can feel how much Killian and Saskia gravitate toward each other but something is stopping them, causing pain and twisted emotions. You can feel the slowly unrolling secrets with every page and anticipate the deadly danger, ready to strike.
And boy, prepare for epic proportions twists and turns!
The whole plot, scenery, and heroes are deliberately written, captivating from the very first page and yet still mysterious. Saskia and Killian are strong, deadly and untouchable in the outside but in the inside vulnerable and very complex. Their imperfection, honesty, and trust are the best thing to read about.

Shout out to one of the most consuming stories I have read so far. Amo Jones not only took me into her magical world filled with music, hard work, and wild parties. Someone who is your the weakest spot but also the strongest soulmate.

I don’t think you guys are ready for this book or killian this truly was a masterpiece that Amo Jones has created, from the first page till the last I was taken on this incredible journey that only she can take you on...
They way these characters came to life just shows you why Amo has become the queen of creating these dark, emotional charged, depraved A holes tbh lol but ones you just can’t help but fall for even though in reality you’d be running for your life. But killian omg I love him so damn much I know I shouldn’t and it’s crazy to want this man who does nothing but push Saskia and make her feel things for him only too then walk away, there’s this hidden connection as you go through the book you find out why they are drawn to each other.
Saskia is the perfect counter to killian though she doesn’t back down to him she’ll push him to his limits and make him realise she won’t be his play thing all the time, the way she teases him, taunts him the heat between them is palpable it literally burns of the screen....
I adore Nate and Tillie but these two have tested my love for those couples that’s for damn sure.
Absolutely incredible storyline that will have you questioning your own sanity but one you will not put down, Amo has done it again 5 SEXY STARS and then some.

In Fury Lies Mischief was incredible! It was amazing to step back inside the lilac tents of Midnight Mayhem. To be with the Kiznitch Brothers again. The heat and intensity and overall mayhem had me devouring every word and page as fast as humanly possible.
Killian and Little Dragon have a connection that they continually try to fight, but cannot deny.
As with every Amo Jones book, In Fury Lies Mischief is packed with the most delicious and dark anti-hero's and the sassiest and most powerful heroines. The back and forth will keep you on the edge of your seat and begging for more, as will the twists and turns. And those cameos toward the end... LOVE THEM!

Okay, so I read this book ten days ago. TEN. I have thought about it literally every single day since then and I still can’t seem to come up with a coherent review, so apologies for what is about to be a rambling review.
I’ll start off by saying that I am a diehard Amo Jones fan. This woman embraces dark romance in such a unique, engaging way and I eat up every word of it. She weaves these fantastic stories about different types of worlds and the people who run them. They’re intense, sexy, twisty, and she manages to hook you in within pages every time.
But there’s something different about the Midnight Mayhem universe. The combination of the show they put on and the characters involved just ramps everything up tenfold. It is truly a one of a kind experience. We were introduced to MM in Manik, but we didn’t get to dive deep until In Peace Lies Havoc. I fell hard and fast, buried so deep in this heady, seductive world. But in IFLM, things just get elevated to another level.

Hands down, a top read of 2020.

Okay, so I read this book ten days ago. TEN. I have thought about it literally every single day since then and I still can’t seem to come up with a coherent review, so apologies for what is about to be a rambling review.
I’ll start off by saying that I am a diehard Amo Jones fan. This woman embraces dark romance in such a unique, engaging way and I eat up every word of it. She weaves these fantastic stories about different types of worlds and the people who run them. They’re intense, sexy, twisty, and she manages to hook you in within pages every time.
But there’s something different about the Midnight Mayhem universe. The combination of the show they put on and the characters involved just ramps everything up tenfold. It is truly a one of a kind experience. We were introduced to MM in Manik, but we didn’t get to dive deep until In Peace Lies Havoc. I fell hard and fast, buried so deep in this heady, seductive world. But in IFLM, things just get elevated to another level.

"Forget the stars aligning, Heaven and Hell moved when we were born."
I feel like not writing a review at all and just leaving you a link to my highlights. There are many of them, and I'm only sharing some.
Again, I feel like this book is better enjoyed if you go in blind, so this will be a pretty generic review.
"Everything ceased to exist around us, as if all of the words that we had never vocalized were being spoken in the language of eye contact."
Killian is incredible. He's also depraved and a real asshole at times. He's infuriating, and I wanted to punch him, hold him, slap him, kiss him, and do all sorts of other things to him. And then I realized that that's because he's very much human. Full of flaws and some redeeming qualities that may not be enough for some, but that were way more than enough for me. This is only my second Amo Jones book, and I don't think any other of her heroes will ever mean more to me than Kill. Yes, I may be in love.
Saskia is the perfect counterpart. They're the same, and yet so different, so much so that they just click. She's strong, and she's so inspiring, full of flaws as well. Maybe broken, definitely bent out of shape, and so very human as well. She's been through so much, and yet she's still here. The things she's endured would have killed a lesser person, but not her.
"He feels good behind me. Even if he did just literally mark me. Twice. But, I feel safe. Protected. For the seconds that I’m in his arms, the minutes don’t matter."
Make no mistake: both of them are deeply damaged. This is not a Cinderella story, nor is it your usual happily ever after. They're not gonna run off into the sunset together. And that was fine by me. It was what I needed, and it seriously broke me last night. I was sad, I felt like crying, and I felt numb at the same time.
If I'd finished this book at a normal time, when people were actually awake, I would happily have chatted about it. It took me a long time to fall asleep.
The best books will do that to you. I have a really bad book hangover right now.
"Answer me, Saskia. Say yes. I’m not fucking sharing. Not you. Not ever."
There's chemistry, tension, and connection between Killian and Saskia, but what they have goes well beyond that. It's deep, and it's embedded in both of them. They can run, but they can't hide from what exists between them, even if not everyone understands it. It goes beyond being soulmates, because they're somehow more than that. It's like neither of them can exist without the other.
"I’ll fucking wait for you for as long as I need to, because time doesn’t tick unless you’re in my arms."
Their brand of love may not be for every reader out there, and there are some people who may be triggered by this book, particularly the last 25% or so. For me? It was perfect.
The way both characters are developed only makes you want more. The secondary characters and the Midnight Mayhem backdrop are addictive. And the sex? It's dirty, it's hot, and it's fucking off the charts.
"Love is a destination that not many have the opportunity to find. Everyone’s road is paved differently, and we all have dissimilar paths that lead off of it. Every choice you make will be the deciding factor on whether you reach your destination or not."
This was dark romance perfection. Midnight Mayhem is a messed up world, but one I can't help but want to live in. Killian and Saskia's story is still being written, and it may have its twists and turns in the future, but the destination is obvious. They begin and end with each other.

In Fury Lies Mischief is jarring and riveting. From the first page to the last it is a whirlwind journey full of twisted mystery, sinister revelations and explosive chemistry!
Amo Jones is no stranger to shocking dark romance. Her stories are always well developed and carry an ominous undertone that sucks readers in and holds them captured to the very end, which is something I love about her storytelling and writing.
Killian is the Trickster. He’s devilishly handsome and he knows it. Armed with the power to manipulate the mind, he’s destructive and powerful. He’s always about pushing limits.
Saskia is seemingly innocent. She’s a newer recruit to the Midnight Mayhem and part of Perse’s dance performance. Armed with a beautiful face and flawless physique, she’s lethal without evening knowing it. She’s strong and gifted but her life is shrouded in mystery. She is bound and determined to fight back when tested.
These two together are the perfect storm. The push and pull between them is intense and palpable. The chemistry between them ignites the pages. They bring out the bad and good in each other. Literally the perfect duo.
This story is everything we love about Amo Jones. The story is dark and full of twists that keep us enthralled throughout the story. The character development is insanely good, and you see overall growth of characters throughout. The story itself is always unpredictable and leads you further into the mayhem of their world.
Amo just continues to blow us readers away with her creativity. It’s gritty and messed up at times but the stories are just so enthralling. I’ve never read anyone else like her. I can’t wait to see what other revelations unravel within this twisted world.

ALL Amo's books are just simply Extraordinaire!! They are addictive and brilliant! I read the first book of Midnight Mayhem (In Peace Lies Havoc) and as usual it never fails to amaze me. You will definitely fall in love with all the characters. They are just insanely good! Can't wait to read this 2nd book!! Amo's works are my stress reliever. Amo's mind is just so beautiful, creative, dark and complex that she creates books that whoever reads them will never stop reading and will crave for MOOORE!! I even recommended ALL her works to my co readers who are looking for very good books and they loved them!! ALL her books are just highly recommended!!! More Power, Amo Jones!!
