Pretty good volume, lots of action and the main plot has developed a lot. Can’t mention anything about this volume as pretty much everything will be a spoiler! One of the best volumes of this saga so far

Volume 21 will go down as THE Accel World volume that is read in full in a single three or four hour sitting. Yes, it was that gripping and good that I started and couldn’t put it down until I reached the end. Somehow a total and complete ambush from Oscillatory Universe and the question of if our Negabu favorites and friends will make it out of a potential Unlimited PK left for a mystery that I just needed to see play out. Fortunately, Kawahara didn’t drag it out to multiple volumes.

Without spoiling, it was an excellent battle of sorts with one mystery in the world of Accel World uncovered and skills used in previous volumes making reappearances. Also, seeing how the kings differ in power to the others was highlighted excellently.

Overall, this was a fantastic volume and one that I would hope every Accel World fan gets to someday.

I am surprised by how consistent this series is. Every volume you have new mysteries, revelations and emotion-packed scenes. Accel World is one of the best series I am reading right now.
