Loved
Lila is back! Have always loved her stories and reading this one was no different. Marissa is coming home from being away at school and is excited to see Liam. Liam has been her guardian ever since her parents were in a terrible accident when she was younger. Now fully grown, Liam was not expecting her to walk through the airport looking like that. Taken off guard, he lets his walls about love and relationships slowly fall and let's her in. Loved these two! How and sweet at the same time!

Steamy, quick & enjoyable read! I liked Marissa & Liam, although I would have liked a bit more of them together outside of the bedroom (I'm always like that, tho!). : )

H is an asshole while the h is so desperate I couldn’t even finish reading this. I think this author is not for me.

Short, smutty fun. This little taboo romance is over the top and dirty, so really entertaining to grab as a quick treat.
The first part sets the mood for this young, curvy ward to recount her solitary life under the aloof protection of a rich entrepreneur.
Next is a very hot reunion where the mature man tries to resist the many charms of his youthful protegé. Spoiler alert, they give in and it's a flesh fest. Steamy and wild passion ensues.
Then, a little sad scene where all hope seems impossible as this hard man refuses to commit. I got a little mad at him, but there is a lot of bliss in store for this age-gap couple and a very festive epilogue. Cute and hot.

disappointed
this.book.started off well. i.have no.issues.with the subject matter. BUT. when.he.left for like 6 days and came back she just instantly forgave him. she made it way to easy for him and i lost untetest at this. After making her feel like she wasnt important and putting her through that he should have.had to grovel a bit. wouldnt go back for a second read.

First things first; I really like the cover of this book.
This story is short, fast paced and hot. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. After losing her parents at a young age, Marissa was sent to live under the care of her father’s best friend. After eight years at a Swiss boarding school, Marissa is back and is still attracted to her guardian. Liam is a successful businessman. He has no time for love or no desire for it. When his ward returns home from boarding school, he struggles to resist his desires. Will Liam give in to his attraction to Marissa? Will Marissa finally get her man?
I did see some chemistry between Liam and Marissa but I would have liked a little bit more. That being said, the passion and sexual tension between them was clear to see. I liked Marissa and I wanted her to be happy. I liked Liam but I wasn’t his biggest fan. He was annoyed about feelings that Marissa had for him. Yet he never let her no his intentions.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.

Interesting premise but seriously lacking...
I dunno why I keep trying to read this author’s books because it’s bad enough that every story is in dire need of editing, but just when the real emotional parts come into play it’s like all the hurt and heartache is quickly glossed over in favor of more sex. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy extra steamy scenes but not at the expense of the story and characters. I was more disappointed in this particular read though, because I just don’t get how Marissa could be so heartbroken and upset by Liam’s disgustingly callous behavior, but the instant he comes crawling back after slinking off like the coward he is, she doesn’t make him work more for her forgiveness for his completely asinine behavior. It just... the whole thing falls utterly flat. I’m just glad these books are on Kindle Unlimited because I’d be really upset if I had actually paid individually to read these books.

3.5/5 STARS. Damn Liam really left her like that after the office sex fail incident? He really needed to figure his emotions out. This is the basic ward/ guardian story. The guardian sees her like a daughter and then he finally sees her as a woman and the ward sees him as a saviour or love. Well this story is about Marissa who is 18 and Liam who I think is 33. She comes back from boarding school and he is taken back at his beautiful she is. One night she comes from partying and his jealousy of her dress is possessive. They fuck and are immediately in love but he doesn’t acknowledge it. As I said in my first sentence he left her after a failed office sex incident to go to Europe. Then he came back a week later to finding her pregnant with Joy and like that all is forgiven. Although I would have loved a bit of grovelling. But this man is a sex machine.
The smut was great. This man Liam has the horsepower of a ferrari. Actually.

Marissa lost her parent and became Liam’s ward not knowing what to do with a young girl he sent her off to boarding school but now she’s just graduated and is back and ready to take what she want him. Liam doesn’t have time for anything other then work but when he see his hot young ward he wants more then just to protect her but will the fact that she’s his ward basically his daughter stop him. They may have spent a long time apart but Marissa know what she wants. These two were off the charts hot together Liam may not have been looking for forever but definitely found it in his sweet young ward. Definitely recommend reading.

Lila Younger has done it again I loved Sweet Ward Of Mine so much I couldn’t put it down, it was short sweet and dirty just the way I like it! I loved Marissa and Liam and I loved their story another hit Lila can’t wait to read more!

I really liked this book. Marissa was an amazing character and with everything she had been through, very mature. Liam was the typical alpha bad boy workaholic. Marissa and Liam together were great. I was mad at Liam for a bit, but he redeemed himself very well. Loved their happy ever after! Definitely recommend reading this one!

It’s a quick story about Liam, the guardian for his late friend’ daughter, Marissa. She’s 18 and set to put the moves on Liam now that she is of legal age. Their sexual chemistry is read hot and try as he might to avoid her, he relents and he beds the young virgin. It is such a hot read, and well written.
