I really enjoyed this book, there was lots of twists and turns throughout, I found myself once again not wanting to put it down.
The characters are well-rounded which I find is equally as important to a story as the plot I felt for Zoe and what was happening. I highly recommend to fellow Cozy Mystery fans who enjoy a bit of magic and paranormal thrown in. Cant wait to read book 9
Zoe is worried about the new mixed Council Meeting coming up, she hopes everything will be ok. While her nerves are getting the best of her, she decides to see if the mail came. As she is headed inside, the mail is dropped in her hand by the mail witch. There is a letter to her boyfriend Beau with no return address on it. When she shows it to Beau, Beau starts acting really strange. He tells her to throw it away. She does as he asks, when he leaves she gets it out. Zoe sees the letter as very weird and threatening. She shows the letter to Heath, he agrees with her. He tells her to show it to his father Sam. Sam also agrees that the letter is not good, they decide to go to the station to see Beau. They can't believe what condition they find Beau in when they get there. Zoe will have to find out what happened to Beau and who is behind it. When another falls under the same spell. Zoe will have to step up her efforts and weed out the suspects. Zoe with help of her friends will have to get to the bottom of this before it gets out of control. Who is behind this, is not who you would like it was
I truly enjoyed this book, it was kept at a nice pace, with a number of people that could have done it. The surprise is the one that really did it.

This is a brilliant read. Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believeable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story. Can't wait to read more of these. Recommend reading.

Things have still not settled down for Head Witch Zoe Clarke in the town of Moon Grove. She would like a bit of stability in her town and time to turn her attention to her new live-in shifter boyfriend, Beau. But it looks like someone is jealous and trying to ruin her relationship! Her morning wasn’t so bad, as Beau delivered a perfect breakfast in bed. But then they started receiving disturbing anonymous threatening letters in white envelopes with only Beau’s name on them stuffed in their mailbox. Beau seemed almost afraid to open and read the letter, so instead asked Zoe to throw it away! Even worse, though, was finding Beau trapped in his golden retriever form and then his co-worker Olivia trapped in her cat form. Who is casting the spell to prevent their turning human again? Why? How far will they take this?
This is such a good series! Zoe is always so busy with her involvement in everything. She has new Council members to encourage to play nice and mysteries that continue needing her intervention to resolve. Will she get this one resolved and return Beau to his human self?
Zoe is a witch and Beau is a shifter, and they have just moved in together. So how does Beau have l delivered to him at this new address? Not only that but the letter has no return address and is disturbing.
Zoe has to check this out. Meanwhile, the council is trying to integrate the new council members and the town. Lots of changes. speaking of changes, Zoe goes to see Beau at his new job and is delayed by his secretary. When she does get to his office, Beau is in and has been in his shifted form unable to return to human form.
Add this issue and the strange letter(s), Zoe is worried and needs to investigate.
There are rabbit trails to take you away from who you might think done it. Beware. I got caught.
Like that we get to see Raina and Mallory again. But I still miss Zoe working on her magic abilities.
If reading for first time can be done but will want to go back and learn the story. Fun, and easy to read. Can be done in a day.
This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.
This is such a delightful series! I believe I have read most of them. By now at book 7, slipping back into the world is like catching up with old friends—if old friends were witches and shifters! I love the relationship between Zoe and Beau. Loved the banter between them before things went south. This mystery had some unusual elements, which I thoroughly enjoyed. While I don't read many shifter books, I loved that this book’s core mystery centered on a shifter who was cursed to stay in his animal form. I don't think I've ever read that in another shifter book. So it's fun to run across an unusual concept. While I don't mind murder mystery cozies at all, it is fun to mix it up every now and then and have a cozy that doesn't have a dead body (or three) at the center of it. Just another great installment in this fun paranormal cozy mystery series.
I received a free copy of this book but that did not affect my review.
Shifters and Sabotage: Paranormal Cozy Mystery - Book 7 ” by Lily Webb is a tale of what can happen occur when the Head Witch Zoe Clarke...of Moon Grove...simply checks the mail...and delivers an addressed envelope to her beloved BF Beau...whose reaction is NOT to his...nor her liking. Spell Mail?!? Curses ....what manifestation is THIS?!? And WHY?!?! With Beau confined to Retriever mode...and Olivia entranced as Feline ....Zoe is left to discern WHO is behind this blatant misuse of magical powers!! As Head Witch ....Zoe MUST lead the way...in responsible witch behavior ...per Council criteria and common sense ....such crazed nonsense as THIS must be corrected. Moon Grove..and Beau & Olivia are depending on her. Can she rise...yet again to the occasion?!? Read and See!!! Much enjoyed and Highly Recommended. Our heroine is ready to try and take it easy for a change when her boyfriend gets cursed in his animal form. Guess she is going to have to step up once again.
This is book seven in the series. The book works very well as a standalone. All the essentials are covered early on, so feel free to start at any point.
As usual, the story is well written and easy to follow with a plot that definitely has lots of twists which keep the reader on his/her toes. The setting is also nicely detailed and makes an background for these story. Last but not least is a diverse cast of crazy characters that really bring the entire thing to a boil. I am still really enjoying this series and look forward to more in the future.
Highly recommended.

If you have been keeping up with the series you know that Zoe Clarke is now head witch and that strange they still keep happening around her.
The characters are still fun to read about and news are being introduced to keep the story fresh. Luckily this time no one had to die to give it a little mystery to solve. Changing up the story base is always the best.
Luna makes her usual snarky appearance but others do not. Again you have to make allowances to keep it interesting.
Overall, I still love this book and series. Zoe and the gang will keep you guessing and laughing so pick up the series today.

Head witch is on the case. Now that Zoe is co-head of the council of Paranormals, her first case involves her boyfriend, Beau. On his last day in his current position, he is turned into his dog shape and can’t get back to human form. While investigating, one of the suspects is also turned into their alternate shape, a cat. With so many potential suspects, who Zoe rules out then in then out, can she ever get to the bottom and find the culprit? Someone who she believes is innocent is obviously lying. But who? This was a wonderful book and it was a mystery this time in a different form. There wasn't a death but what can Zoe do when she discovers Beau, her boyfriend and live in interest these days is getting mysterious letters and then what she goes to the station to meet up with him, he is stuck in his dog form. How did he get that way and why can't he shift back. Zoe has more on her plate than she bargained for once again and can solve the mystery and get Beau back to the man she loves or is she going to be stuck with another pet? It was so good I read the book straight through. I hope you enjoy it as well.
This is book 7 in the series, I would recommend reading them in order to get a grasp on the characters as well as their relationships with each other.
Someone is jealous of Zoe and Beau’s budding relationship. Either that or someone is targeting shifters in their community. It’s up to Zoe to solve the mystery and help before everything gets really out of hand.
I enjoyed this book quite a lot. You get a nice list of suspects and I thought I had it figured out only to find out I was wrong. I never would have guessed this one. Great character interactions and an overall great team.
I received this story for free in a boxset through BookSprout and am leaving a voluntary honest review.
Zoe is facing another mystery, and this time someone is not attacking her, but her boyfriend, Beau. He shifted into his dog form, but seems trapped in there. With shifters in the council now, and Beau's dad one of the councilmen, she has her work cut out. A funny cozy mystery, full of interesting characters - but if you have not started the story yet - start from the beginning. The book has lots of references to earlier stories and may be difficult to read for a first-timer. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The characters in this story are well developed, quirky, and likable. The storyline is entertaining and well written, with humour, magic, mystery, curses, drama, and intrigue.

Zoe is hoping to settle down to a quieter life with her boyfriend but that is just not going to happen, especially not when there are jealous eyes around, who are prepared to curse shifters into their animal forms. But Zoe is not backing down and is prepared to find out who the culprit is.
Another fun filled read from Lily Webb. Lots of possible suspects and enough twists and turns to make you change your mind as to who it could be. Entertaining, excellent read.
