Thank you for reading my bio and my books! I live and work in Dallas, TX. I'm the mother of two amazing daughters and two fantastic, intelligent grandsons, with one more on the way, and a wonderful son-in-law. I love to cook, travel, and write, but I'm also an avid reader. Being from a military family, my books often center around strong, military men but I also LOVE strong, independent, intelligent women. Trevor/Banks has been quite cocky this whole series, until the last book, where he saw how his actions hurt himself and others. It really made him think about his life in a different way. Part of trying to figure things out has him in a kids trauma group, which seems weird, but works, both for him and the kids. It was fun to see the kids give him grief about not sharing when they did, it was what he needed to get his butt in gear. It was also interesting to see how those kids reacted and they did so in a good way, a way to see that he wasn't a bad man, just made bad choices.

The romance with the Dr. that leads the group, was a bit off, you just had to go with it. The one thing that Ashley did well was get through to Banks, when she did her whole show and tell. It was visceral and just what he needed to see that he wasn't his injury, he was more. Ashley's story was awful and got more so when her personal "bad guy" got out of prison and started to come for her.

Ashley got to see first hand, up close and personal how the SEAL's and REAPER worked. It was eye opening for her in so many ways. But even with what she saw, she did make a stupid move, one I would have made her in place with all the same circumstances. It all turned out ok in the end, but it was touch and go for a bit.

There was a secondary romance in this one that was cute, but frustrating too. I'm glad that the couple worked it out and have happiness in their future.

Trevor and Ashley and Cruz and Camille

Wow talk about a severely demented and cruel ex boyfriend and that is just what Ashley's ex was, but she is a wonderful and loving doctor to her young patients that also endured tragic abuse from either their parents or from their boyfriends. Trevor was always previously mentioned in other stories to be a man whore, but I believe after what he went through in the previous book that he woke up and realized he needed to change his ways and Dr Ashley was part of his healing process and very glad to realize that his parents left him at the fire station at birth because they loved him, but weren't old enough to take care of him. Also over five years ago, Cruz met Camille at her families home in Louisiana at Belle Fleur' and fell in love with her, but she was married to an idiot verbal abusive butthead at the time, but now years later they found their way back to each other and Mama Irene and Pops Matthew couldn't be happier to add more children to their family. Happy reading.

Two For One

This is a wonderful story showing what love is. Trevor had been sounded & lost a part of his body. Unfortunately for him he thought because of his condition he was unlovable. Ashley proved him wrong but she has a secret . Trevor helps her and in the process quickly falls in love with her. Ashley 's crazy ex boyfriend has broken out of prison and headed her way to get her. The team enlists the help of REAPER to save her. While at the compound of REAPER John Cruz sees a lady he's been keeping an eye on for a few years as he's instantly fallen in love with since the first moment he's seen her. It's like having two stories in one. There's plenty of action, romance and just plain caring. I love this series.

Good book

I am enjoying this series, and I like the books for the most part, but the was things I just found like. The women always seem to be apologizing to the men, even when they did nothing wrong. Its very weird.

Fantastic!

Not as much steam until the end in this one but the amount of excitement makes up for it. It was nice reading about REAPER again though. Can't wait for the next one!
