Rescued on a dreary night
This book has two of my favorite things, big cat shifters and Gerri from the PDA. The author really outdid herself with this debut novel in the PDA world. The book fits perfectly with the other books in the series and yet it still contains that flare that makes this one of my one-click authors. I enjoyed the instant connection, the overflowing romance and physical connection between the characters, and the air of angst and danger that brought depth to the story. I can’t wait to read the next book by this author I really hope it’s Brayden and Jess’s story. I feel like there might be something special there. Regardless I am already counting down until the next book.

This was 3rd person pov but has so much internal dialogue it was very similar to a person in real life who talks about themselves in 3rd person. Super awkward to read.
The internal dialogue was also super repetitive and annoying. It felt like it was trying to force us to like the characters only personality traits. How many times did I really need to read that uzzi is a widower? How many times must we know his wife was better at finding mates than him? How many times must I read that Elissa was curvy??????? Like did you think I forget that everything was already mentioned 27 times before.

The Paranormal Dating Agency books are all quick, fun reads. Elissa and Hunter's story is no exception. I loved their story and hope to see more from the Maverick Pride.

Gerri Wilder always delivers a mate to those who retain her services. It usually is not the smoothest journey to love. I really have enjoyed many of the Paranormal Dating Agency books which are written by different authors.
This story has Hunter and Elissa finding their way to each other unexpectedly. She has had the date from hell when Gerri finds her. Hunter needs a mate to get back in control and doesn't expect a human.
They definitely make for a fun couple. The chemistry is there right away but there are always obstacles even to true love.
I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

My first book in the PDA World but won't be my last. With all the broken relationships, mine and others I see. I have always liked the idea of fated mates. The knowledge that nothing will be allowed to separate your loved one from you.
A dating agency that can find that fated mate, awesome.

super cute holiday themed shifter romance story, Elissa has had one bad blind date too many when she is picked up walking in the rain by none other than the infamous Gerri Wilder herself proprieter of the paranormal dating agency who is on her way to help find the mate for the Neta of the local Tiger pride.. is she what he needs?

Another great shifter Fated Mates romance. It was very well-written with characters that you feel you know them and want to be their friends, except for one shifter and one sleazy human male. The way she was "purrfect" for him and he for her in their attitudes, actions and wants was very nice also. I dont't want to give away the story, but you will not be disappointed and cannot wait to read more about this clan.

Gerri of the PDA introduces Elissa and Hunter to each other. Hunter's tiger says Mate and Elissa is definitely attracted to him. For someone who has never even known about paranormal beings shes handling things very well. The story is very fast paced and there is some danger and a few surprises along the way. I really enjoyed this book very much and look forward to the next one.

This is one hot and steamy paranormal romance story. I loved it! It's a quick and fun read. Mrs. Wilder runs a successful paranormal dating service and Elissa and Hunter are about to get purrfectly mated thanks to her.
Elissa's date isn't going too well and then she is forced to walk in the rain, at night, alone and scared. That's when Mrs. Wilder finds her and decides to do a little matchmaking. After all, Hunter has asked her for help and Elissa seems like a perfect match for him.
It's a well-written story and has some really interesting characters. I loved both Elissa and Hunter. Their story is perfect.

November 11, 2019I am a huge fan of the PDA books. To have one of my favorite authors join the series, bonus. Elissa is having one helluva night. On her walk home, in the rain, she is picked up by none other than Ms. Wilder. This will change her forever change her life. She takes the news of shifters being real very well. But being the mate of one, an alpha tiger on top of it, is a bit harder for her to believe. She and Hunter definitely have chemistry, but she wonders if he needs her to secure his position. Finding his mate would solve all of Hunter's problems. The Pride quickly accepts Elissa as their 'Nari' and things seem to be going well. But there is one among them that is not happy with this new arrangement. When the couple is gifted with something magical, it will bring the two even closer. A bit of mystery, a little action and a whole lot of heat. An of course, a HEA. Ms. Gorri has done it again. I'm hoping to learn more about Brayden in the near future. I would love to learn his backstory. I received an advanced copy and this is my voluntary review.

You can't go wrong with tiger shifters and Gerri Wilder, which made C.D. Gorri's debut novel in the PDA World a great success. For fans of this author, you'll see some familiar characters/series mentioned and I enjoyed how they fit seamlessly into the story. Elissa is a chef who takes her roommates place on a blind date that goes horribly wrong. But just when things couldn't possibly get worse, Gerri comes to the rescue and opens up a whole new world to Lissa. Hunter is the Neta, or Alpha, of the Maverick Tiger Pride. With his tiger losing control and rumors about his ability to lead, he's in desperate need of a mate and turns to Gerri for help. His whole life changes the moment he meets Lissa and their chemistry is off the charts as their mate bond instantly begins to connect them. At times the inner monologue of Lissa and Hunter's conversations with his tiger had me laughing out loud. Super steamy romance between Hunter and Lissa plus the mystery of who is undermining Hunter combine for a great story that will have your attention from beginning to end. I can't wait to return to the Maverick Pride and see which tiger finds their mate next!

Stunning read. This is part of the Paranormal Dating Agency series and is a amazing addition. As always Jerri wilder is always right so when she is on her way to meet the pride and finds Elissa by the road she nows this is the mate for Hunter. But will everything go smooth umm does it ever. This story was a great read. Being the leader does not make it easy to find your true mate but with Gerri Wilder on the case there is nothing to worry about even if it means picking a woman up on the side of the road in the rain.. This story was sexy, fun and exciting..

One of the very first story
It’s from Gorri was a shorter version of this steamy fated mates story right here! Although some characters have changed and one story line is not in this version it’s still the best of Gorri! My introduction in the shifter world!! The one that got me hooked and has me coming back for more of the great imagination of Gorri!!

Elissa agreed to go on a blind date in place of her roommate. To describe it as the worst date in history is being generous. When she refuses to go along with the guys plans for the night, he dumps her along the side of the road in the middle of nowhere in the rain. As she is walking home, soaking wet and freezing, an elderly man in a limousine offers her a ride. She knows she shouldn’t but she also knows she won’t make it home otherwise. He introduces himself as Uncle Uzzi and indeed he seems harmless enough, and riding in a limousine isn’t bad at all. Uncle Uzzi knows she is the perfect mate for the Alpha that he is on his way to see, but when he learns she is a professional chef and needs a job, he tells her he has the perfect job for her if she will accompany him to where he is going. She is still a little skeptical, but decides to go with her gut that is telling her to trust him.
Hunter is the Alpha, or Neta, of the Maverick Pride of Tiger shifters. He has been so busy trying to run the pride and the construction business since his father died he doesn’t have time to do anything else. When someone starts rumors that he isn’t an effective Alpha because he isn’t mated and contracts start dropping for the business that supports the pride, he contacts Uzzi’s Magical Matchmaking Service. Hopefully Uzzi can help him out because he doesn’t have time to look for a mate!
When Hunter and Elissa meet, the sparks fly, literally. Elissa has just learned about shifters from Uzzi and is a little skeptical, but she can’t deny the attraction she feels towards him. When she agrees to be his mate everyone is thrilled! Well, apparently not everyone!

Great addition to the Paranormal Romance genre!
The writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world that was created.
The descriptions of the characters and their feelings are so involved, you can truly picture it in your mind. Their attitudes toward the events that are happening makes the story even richer.

What's in a name? Little Gianni, and his dress, send lots of messages, eh? Gerri, does it again! Hunter is the Neta/Alpha of the Maverick pride. His tiger wants a mate, badly! There is one in the pride who is sabotaging, Hunter. Elissa, personal chef on the worse blind date 'ever', as a favor to her room mate Gretchen, where her date, Little Gianni expects Lissa to show her appreciation for the meal and his company. She indignantly jumps out of her date's car deciding to walk home! Then realizes she's a two hour car ride from home and it's starting to rain. Good time to reflect on the 'worse' date ever! A limo stops and offers a ride. Gerri trusts her gut, because it never lies and discusses shifters and her Agency. Elissa takes the whole 'paranormal' thing in her stride. Gerri introduces Elissa, human to Hunter who recognizes his mate. Lissa feels the attraction, but questions all feelings. Lissa wants feelings and questions Hunter's motives. This was a great start to a new series. A very well written story. Great chemistry between the characters and kept my interest from start to finish. I can't wait to see what's next.
