Heaven refers to them as Misplaced Halos. Humans don’t even know they exist. This faction of celestial warriors was sent here under the cover of darkness to protect humanity from Lucifer’s demons. In return for their servitude, these warriors expect only one thing: the love they were promised, what angels refer to as an amsouelot.
Never one to rely on luck or favor, Eclipse isn’t surprised when his first interaction with the female whose soul is destined for his results in death. However, he is caught off-guard when the pretty blonde who was held at gunpoint by a two-bit human turns out to be sassy and fearless and not at all bothered by the mess that was made in that alley.
Orianna McKay has spent the past six years scouring the US in search of her sister. She has put her entire life on hold, hoping to locate Amber and bring her home to their mother. What she doesn’t understand is how one failed lead after another continues to take her right back to Nowhere, Colorado. Then he appears. The handsome warrior who takes a bullet in an effort to save her. What she doesn’t realize is that warrior is an angel and nothing in her world is as it seems.
Eclipse’s mission is to protect Orianna from the demons who are out to lay claim to her soul. Somewhere along the way, that mission changes, priorities are shifted, and destinies are revealed. By the time the dust settles, Orianna and Eclipse will learn that salvation comes in many forms.
New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Nicole Edwards spends her days stringing words together to make complete sentences. Sometimes not. Her best friend is coffee, and she has a love/hate relationship with sarcasm. She’s been accused of having a filthy imagination, which she admits is true.
Nicole lives in the suburbs of Austin, Texas. She proudly claims one husband, three grown children, and two bosses (better known as the dogs). When she isn’t writing, watching football or hockey, or keeping her bosses happy, you can probably find her with a book in hand.
If you read and loved the First book, Protected in Darkness, you are absolutely going to love this second book in the series. Salvation in Darkness had me so enthralled, I was having a hard time to stop reading. Notice my play on words? We now have vampires in the story along with our angels and demons. But I’m getting ahead of myself. The story’s main couple is Eclipse and Orianna. I really enjoyed their story, there was so much she had to work through in her human life. Their connection was breathtaking. But there is so much more to the story. A Fae being kidnapped, a baby being born, a demon’s demise, a sister finally found, a vampire realizing his mate, Michael the Archangel, action, adventure, laughter, tears, romance and of course let’s not forget all of the scorching hot sex scenes. And the epilogue, Oh Emm Gee!!! I am absolutely in love with this new series. I can’t wait to read the next book whoever it will be about. I’m always sitting at the edge of my seat when the drama unfolds. When Nicole asked for volunteers to read and review, I gladly accepted. I voluntarily read and I am leaving an honest review, all my own opinion. But please give this series a try.
4.5 Star review of Salvation in Darkness (Misplaced Halos #2) by Nicole Edwards
I was a little surprised at how much I enjoyed this story as I admit that paranormal stories are not one of my go to genres to read.
Eclipse is an angel but is known as a Misplaced Halo. They are not allowed to become involved with humans unless it is their soulmate, known as their amsouelot. They protect humans from Lucifer’s demons.
Eclipse’s soulmate is Orianna McKay; a woman who is a sassy, feisty, brave and determined woman. She has spent the last six years searching for her sister Amber, determined to bring her home.
When Eclipse takes a bullet that was meant for her, Orianna feels the strength of the connection that sizzles between them. As expected with a Nicole Edwards story, there was plenty of heat and the intense chemistry between them was scorching.
There were times that I struggled a little with the terminology/names used but once I got my head around it I I was drawn into the story that Ms.Edwards wove.
There was so much going on in this story, you really need to experience it for yourself. If you are a fan of paranormal romance then this book will be right up your alley. Salvation in Darkness is a well written love story about true soul mates that just happens to revolve around Angels, Demons and now the Fae and Vampires.
I love paranormal and I love all things Nicole Edwards. What happens when the two come together? You get a great read with Nicole flare. Nicole is a one click author for me and when I found out she was doing a paranormal series about Angels at that, which we get our vampires, shapeshifters and werewolves and even fae but Angels is new for me and these are not your typical angles. You have to read for yourself and you will not be disappointed in this book.
I received a copy of this book for the publisher/author to review.

I have always admitted that I am not much of a paranormal reader. However that all has changed with this series. I am loving it so much and this book sucks you in so hard that you do not put it down. I loved every single second that I spent with these two amazing characters in this book. Along with the angels and demons we now have vampires added into the mix and it makes such an amazing story. This book has so much going on that you do not want to miss a thing and you won't be laying it down. I don't want to give anything away about this story so I am not going to tell you a thing about what happens. You just need to grab it and enjoy the ride. It is one you do not want to miss.
This is one of those books that I would get upset every time I had to put it down. Unfortunately, I have been super busy so had to put it down far too often. Then all I would think of, as I was doing what needed my attention in the real world, was getting back to my book!
I felt as though there were a lot more storylines going on in this one than in the first book. Of course, the main story is still about Orianna and Eclipse. But we get so many other subplots that have me so excited for the coming stories in this series.
Eclipse is amazing. But, then again, so is Orianna. Both just do what needs being done. Which is saying a lot when it comes to Orianna. That lady has gumption. No familial support, no friends to lean on, no money to back her up, yet she keeps on slogging away looking for her sister. Eclipse, on the other hand, has a house full of family and friends, all of whom would do anything for him.
There is no doubt that Orianna and Eclipse are meant for each other. They fit together perfectly. They understand each other almost the moment they connect. There is some “getting to know you” that needs to be done, but on a deeper level there’s no need. There’s just an understanding.
While I loved the story of Eclipse and Orianna, I actually liked some of the other love stories just as much if not more. Kaj and Acadia, Bijou and Oliver (Oh, the things I’m looking forward to with those two!!!), Asmia’s storyline. So much yummy goodness!
This band of angels, fae, heurosp, vampires, and humans is such a marvelous intermingling of personalities. All that come together to make up the most remarkable support system for them all.
I realize I have not said much about the story itself, and that’s by design. I hate spoilers and feel as if I say too much I’ll be ruining parts of this story for others. Just know that I loved this book and can’t wait to read more about this family.
**I received an ARC of this book courtesy of the author. All opinions expressed in this review are my own and given freely**
I am loving Nicole Edwards’ Misplaced Halos series, and book two, Salvation in Darkness, continues to showcase the warriors who were put on earth to protect mankind as well as find their amsouelots/soul mates who they were destined to be with regardless of the risks or sacrifices that may have to be made in order to complete the mission they were tasked with as well as hold tightly to their other half since they’re what these angels were promised for their ‘servitude.’
Eclipse is an intriguing hero and his name is fitting, not only for what he’s been tasked with but also because the darkness is the time where Lucifer’s demons roam and are most active, so knowing that he’s there, in the darkness, to protect his soul mate, Orianna, works in her favor, because while she may be a sassy and fearless warrior in her own right, it’s important for her to know who she has at her back and trust that he will always be there because it’s not only their destiny but what he desperately wants and needs after searching for her.
It’s clear from the start just how connected Eclipse and Orianna are. Their individual strengths complement each other and allow them to stand united, and their sexual chemistry resonates from the pages, not just when they’re intimate, but when they’re simply together in any and all ways.
What I can’t get enough of in this series is the variety of other worldly characters readers are introduced to the further into the series Nicole Edwards takes us. While the main focus is on the faction of celestial warriors, the fact that there are now Fae and vampires in the mix adds to the story lines that can be told and the variety of obstacles that these angels and their soul mates will face.
Some readers may find the terminology a bit overwhelming, but the glossary at the beginning of the story is a great tool to ensure that it’s clear what side all of the supernaturals involved in the story line are on and exactly what certain words and phrases mean.
I’ve always loved Nicole Edwards’ storytelling and the way that she crafts such intriguing and multifaceted characters, so it was a no-brainer for me to dive into her new paranormal series, and like her other collections of stories, I hope this one continues on for quite some time.
Salvation in Darkness Misplaced Halos, Book 2 By: Nicole Edwards Narrated by: Rich Miller
Nicole Edwards pens another awesome novel in her “Misplaced Halos” series. I am loving this series, the storylines and characters she created are fascinating they grabbed my attention and held it captive straight to the end. The time frame for this book picks up just after the 1st book, Obsidian and Penelope are mated and she is pregnant with their child. The other warrior Angels are still searching for their Amsouelots (their soulmate and eternal love) and Eclipse finds his and she turns out to be Orianna a girl searching for her missing sister. Orianna is a badass, not afraid of much she usually can get herself out of bad situations. But she is in way over her head when it comes to the supernatural, which as a human is unknown to her. That is until she meet Eclipse, he comes to her rescue and then so much more. The heavens above definitely got it right with these two and I loved how everything plays in their story. Also loved all the rest of the ongoings in the “Misplaced Halos” world, the Angels are dealing with more demonic incidents, including a threat to their home. Kaj, a Vampire who the Angles have worked with in the past brings his daughter Bijou to stay at Darkness for her safety, she and Olivier hit is off. So much more goes on, plenty of drama, action, thrilling and suspenseful moments and some great hot romance. Nicole Edwards, thank you for another great story, I am looking forward to what comes next in the Misplaced Halos world.
I listened to the Audible edition, Rich Miller is a talented narrator and voice performer, He continues to bring the characters and their stories to life. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen🎧

Salvation in Darkness is the second book in the Misplaced Halos series written by Nicole Edwards. I absolutely loved the first book and this book is even better.
This series centers around a group of seven angels (and their entourage of fairies, fae & vampires) whose mission is to keep humans safe from demons. The demons manage to steel a list of the angels’ soul mates (amsoulets) from the Fates. Each angel must find his soul mate to protect both their souls from being taken by Lucifer. This story centers around the angel Eclipse and his soul mate Orianna. For the past several years Orianna’s mission has been to find her lost sister and bring her home to their Mother. During this search Orianna is attacked. In order to protect Orianna, Eclipse kills her attacker and then disappears as he believes that Orianna was frighten of him and could never love a killer. Orianna also has issues including feelings of abandonment and not being loved. Eclipse and Orianna must find a way to overcome these issues and find her lost sister so that their relationship can evolve.
This novel is action packed; full of secondary relationships, between the humans, angels, vampires, demons and fae. The romances between the secondary characters is equally compelling. There is a kidnaping, angst, plenty of danger and suspense and love. The sex scenes are scorching hot. There are a lot of plot twists and surprises to keep the reader enthralled.
I love this series and can’t wait for the next volume. I know that I will want to binge read the entire series once it is complete.
I had to take a few minutes to gather my thoughts so I could properly express how much I loved this book in the right words. After doing that I still doubt I'll be able to describe how amazing this book truly is to everyone.
First off, Nicole Edwards should've started writing paranormal romance YEARS AGO because she absolutely ROCKS at it and does it magnificently! She's always been one of my favorite authors but after reading the first two books in this series, she's easily on my top 3 favs list.
This book will keep you guessing from beginning to end and you won't even get close to figuring out what's going on or what's to come. One of the things I love most about this series is how in each book you don't get just the heroes & heroine's story, you also get to know a lot of the side characters and an inside look into their lives as well. So you truly understand what's going on as the drama unravels from all sides because you have inside knowledge to what's happening. Another great thing was being able to stay connected to the MC'S from book #1 and continuing to be in tune with both them and what's going on in their lives as time goes on.
I never write reviews this long but I want to make sure I express how awesome this series and these books truly are. Perfection comes to mind when describing them. The suspense is thrilling, the sex is off the charts EXPLOSIVE, the connection between both the MC'S and the side characters is beautiful, and the true love you will get to feel come off the pages as you read the book is heart melting. READ THIS BOOK ASAP!!
Salvation in Darkness (Misplaced Halos, Book 2) by Nicole Edwards
I have been waiting with baited breath for this book to come out and it was so fantastic and exciting that I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. This book picks up where Protected in Darkness ends.
There are seven celestial warriors, angels, in Darkness, Colorado, who think of themselves as brothers. In the first book we met Obsidian and his soulmate Penelope, learned who the warriors were and how they are on earth to protect the humans. In this book we get to know Eclipse and his soulmate or amsouelot as the angels refer to them, Orianna. We also meet and get to know Kaj, a Vampire who helps the brothers, spend time with the Fey, and then learn more about a whole bunch of Lucifer’s followers, each one more miserable than the last.
Orianna is looking for her missing sister, Amber, to reunite her with their Mom who is in poor health and keeps asking Orianna to find her. Her search brings her to Darkness, Colorado where a dangerous encounter has Obsidian rescuing her and what she doesn’t know, is that he is her destiny.
Obsidian and Penelope’s story continues, Eclipse and Orianna’s story evolves and sets the stage with what is to come next and the Archangel Michael’s story evolves too and now I want to know more about him, and Kaj, and the Fey and oh yeah, pretty much everyone in the book because like I said in the beginning, this book is fantastic.
Nicole is an amazing author and this new series is a must read.
The series is about seven celestial warriors, angels, in Darkness, Colorado, who think of themselves as brothers. The first book was about Obsidian and his soulmate Penelope, and we got a quick glimpse of Eclipse and Orianna. This book is about Eclipse and his amsouelot as the angels refer to them, Orianna.
Orianna has been traveling the country looking for her missing sister, Amber. Her search brings her to Darkness where a dangerous encounter has Eclipse rescuing her and from that point on, she can’t stop thinking about him. In this story we are also introduced to Kaj, a vampire friend of Obsidian’s who helps the warriors from time to time. While Kaj and Eclipse are meeting with some of Kaj’s vampires he must save Orianna again. Once he takes her back to his home, they continue to search for her sister together and Eclipse tells her about her being his soulmate. We also see the continuation of Obsidian and Penelope’s story, a Fae gets kidnapped, Kaj realizes who is soulmate really is and the Archangel Michael’s story evolves too. This book opens up so many more stories that I cannot wait to see where they go. This was an absolutely amazing story and I am impatiently waiting for the next one.
It’s been 6 years since her older sister took off and disappeared. Orianna has been traveling, searching every lead she’s gotten for her sister and still nothing......until she meets him....the stranger who appeared out of nowhere......
Eclipse, one of the Misplaced Halos, has been following Orianna, keeping her safe from the demons, from hell, out there to collect her soul. His first encounter with Orianna is when he saves her life in an alley by taking a bullet for her. After that night in the alley, Orianna doesn’t realize how much her life is about to change....... There is no such things as demons and angels, right?
This is book 2 in the series. This is a new genre for Nicole and she really does have another amazing series underway. I honestly don’t know how she comes up with these fantastic ideas, but I hope she keeps them coming for a long time.
So far, the edge of your seat suspense in this series is refreshing. If you think you know what is coming next, hmmmm, don’t be so sure. I’ve come to love the unexpected twists Nicole throws into the storyline when you least expect them. I can’t wait for the next book already. This will be a series I will be reading over and over again.
Nicole Edwards 2nd installment of the Misplaced Halos series doesn't disappoint. This new alternative universe continues the mission for Archangel Michael's Angel Warriors quest to find their human soulmates (or amesoulot) before Lucifer can capture them, condemning the soulmates to eternal damnation in Hell.
In the latest book, Salvation in Darkness, the story centers on celestial warrior Eclipse and his search for and union with his amesoulot, Orianna. Orianna has been on a quest to find her missing sister and meets Eclipse in a robbery attempt gone wrong. The chemistry is immediate and combustable between angel and human as their soul's union merges through raw sexual energy and deep emotional connection.
Beyond the mission to find the remaining amesoulot's, Lucifer's demon army are still on the hunt to build their army to bring the battle for humanity to reign on Earth. Archangel Michael taps the vampire alliance (who've also been under attack) to join the fight against evil.
Unlike Nicole Edward's other 'universe', this is a wonderful paranormal romance series, that has deep character stories and multiple arcs. If you're a fan of Nicole Edwards or a fan of paranormal romance, check this series out.
I can hardly find the words to express this book. I thought the first book in the Misplaced Halos series was great, and this one just topped it. The author has outdone herself in this amazing series that is original, faced paced, never a dull moment, and characters you fall in love with. Not to mention a HEA that almost completes the story of Eclipse and Orianna, but leaves you wanting so much more. And there is so much more to want. This book is about Eclipse, an angel living on earth, fighting for the protection of the human race and all that is good. Enter Orianna, a human on the search for her missing sister, and now she is with Eclipse trying to understand this strange new outlook of life, with angels, fae, and yes even good vampires. It is good against evil, and I'm talking truly evil... think the devil. Excellent book, a new series that will keep you up reading and always wanting more. So excited for the continuation of this series. Nicole Edwards has truly come up with a wonderful, Original story. I volunteered to read this book, and my opinions are my own, and so is this review.
4.5 Stars for Salvation in Darkness book 2 in the Misplaced Halos Series. Eclipse is an Angel put on earth to protect humans and he is better know as a Misplaced Halo who are here to protect the human race from Lucifer’s demons but they are only allowed to become involved with humans if their chosen partner is their soulmate...... Orianna McKay is a strong, sassy woman who knows what she wants and she has spent the last few years searching for her sister Amber what she isn’t looking for is a soulmate but when Eclipse takes a bullet meant for her she realises there could be something very special between them....... Characters with sizzling chemistry and plenty of scorching hot scenes add to the dynamics of this paranormal romance, this is a genre I don’t read very much so I have to say I was grateful for the terminology /names listed at the start of this book. As you would expect from this very talented author this is a well written love story that will captivate you from the first few pages, it’s a love story about finding your soulmate and I believe it will appeal to all romance lovers as well as paranormal romance lovers. Looking forward to more in this series
I can’t get enough of this series. I thought the first book, Misplaced Halos, was great, but this book just topped it. This story sucks you in and you can’t put it down. The main story is about Eclipse and Orianna, but we also get other side stories with lots of other characters. Don’t worry, you won’t get confused. The author does a great job of separating the stories and the characters that you will be able to keep up.
Eclipse and Orianna are amazing. I love how strong Orianna is and how Eclipse embraces her strength. There is no doubt that they are soul mates and I loved every second of them getting to know each other. Their journey together is truly magical and I love how they make each other stronger.
I can’t say enough good things about this book. I know I really haven’t said much about the storyline, but that is because I don't want risk giving any spoilers. This book is one you have to dive into for yourself and experience the magic of angels, faes, vampires and demons. I promise that you will not be disappointed and will be anxiously awaiting the next release in this series just like I am.
The Angels are back, protecting humans and the earth from Demons, whilst ensuring that their soulmates don't become consumed by evil. These Angels work tirelessly to achieve their goal and finding and protecting their soulmates is their top priority.
Eclipse rescued his soulmate and killed her attacker. Since then he has had to take a backseat and watch over her. Orianna is on a mission to find her missing sister and she won't stop until she finds her. When their paths cross again in a club for vampires, Eclipse knows that he must lay it all out to Orianna.
Whilst this is going on, the soulmate of another Angel is captured by one of Lucifer's minions, vampires come to stay and become connected to the household, Arch-angel Michael wants to change their mission and an attack on them is never far away.
I love the world that Nicole Edwards has created here and, whilst it took me a little time to get myself back into it, once I did get back into it I was completely immersed and didn't want to put it down. This is one of the best series of this kind and one that I can't wait to continue!
Salvation in Darkness is book 2 in Nicole Edwards Misplaced Halos series and I highly recommend that you read book 1 in the series before digging into this one.
I do not normally read Paranormal romance but this book, like the first one in the series, had me hanging on every word from the first page to the last. It is the perfect combination of fantastic writing, interesting characters and a storyline that is highly engaging and I thoroughly enjoyed all of the dynamics in play throughout this book. It was like watching a fast moving board game where the players are in constant motion trying to figure out the best strategy to defeat their opponent.
Although this book focuses mainly on the growing relationship between Eclipse and Orianna there are many other characters in play throughout the story. There are angels, vampires and humans that are working together. Some are friends, some are lovers, some are warriors and a few are leaders but alliances are formed to defeat the common enemy. So, grab your copy and hold on because you are in for one hell of a ride!
I am not into paranormal romance books. I read the first story in the series and was a little confused with all the different terms and characters. After reading Salvation in Darkness I am now addicted! This series is all about the Misplaced Halos, Angels sent to Earth to protect the human race from Lucifer and his horrible demons that want to take their souls. Their reward for their hundreds of years of service is that they will meet their Amsouelot, their human that will be their soul mate for all of eternity. As Eclipse finds his. Obsidian is the head of the Halos and has found his soulmate, Penelope that you must read about in the first book. His six other brothers are now searching for theirs before Lucifer finds out who they are. Orianna is just a girl working in a convenience store making some money to survive while searching for her sister. And then Eclipse enters her life by saving her from being killed. There are Vampires, Fairies, Angels, and demons..... Nicole wrote another wonderful love story that I could not put down.
I am so glad that Edwards decided to try her hand at paranormal romance. It is phenomenal! I have always been infatuated with angels, so when Edwards started this series I was ecstatic!
Seven heavenly warriors, Misplaced Halos, to protect the human race. All the brother angels have amsouelots (soul mates) that they need to find before Lucifer and his demons get to them first.
Salvation in Darkness is Eclipse and Arianna's book. Though the book is based mainly on the couple, there are a lot of subplots going on in the background. In my opinion, I believe these subplots will become future books. I could be wrong, but it looks so good to not be true. I truly look forward to reading more of this series.
Archangel Michael makes his presence known in this book and we have a few new characters to meet. I know I am being kind of vague, but trust me, if you are a fan of Edwards and even a little bit of a fan of the paranormal then you will LOVE this series.
The epilogue alone will make you want to scream and demand the next book now. Sadly, we have to wait.
5 Celestial Stars!!!! Holy sexy battle angels!! I am absolutely LOVING this series so far!! I was hooked from the very first chapter of Book 1 and I don't see any relief in sight! Nor do I want to!! I have loved everything this author writes and the fact that she has now given me an amazing new paranormal series to immerse myself in, I mean I am in Heaven! Literally sometimes. What a world Nicole has created full of sexy alpha angels and vampires and so much more to fall in love with. It's sexy, intriguing and oh so steamy!! I love Eclipse and Orianna together in every single way. They are perfectly matched as they should be since they are true soul mates. They wreaked some serious hot and sexy havoc in that house though. I loved getting more of Obsidian and Penelope and all the other characters as well. That epilogue tells me there is more amazingness to come!! I love the whole concept of this series it is so freakin' cool! I didn't want this book to end! I cannot wait for more!!
4.5 Salvation in Darkness is the second book in the Misplaced Halos series by the talented Nicole Edwards. Nicole is killing the supernatural writing with the mix of angels, demons, vampires and other beings. There are a lot of characters in these books, but it's surprisingly not hard to follow. We met Eclipse in Protected in Darkness and I've been looking forward to his story. The angels are searching for their amsouelots, or soul mates. Orianna is human, but she's always been different. She's not even shocked when she meets Eclipse and finds out what he is. There's just a connection she can't deny. She's quickly immersed in his world and what he and his brothers are trying to do and it's a race against time. Will Orianna be able to do what's needed of her to be with Eclipse for eternity? Will Michael help the angels find their destinies? I'm really enjoying this series! There's a lot going on, but it's very interesting and intriguing!
Salvation in Darkness is the second in this series. This series is different from Nicole's other books. This series is about angels, vampire and fae. This book is about Eclipse and his finding his soulmate. Oriana has been trying to find her sister, who has been missing. During one of her nights out looking for her sister she runs into Eclipse who helps save her from an attacker. I enjoyed their story and it was easy to fall in love with this couple. They belong together. This book also updates us on characters from the first book. Obsidian and Penelope are having a baby and it was great to see how they have evolved. We get a look into Kaj and how his life is effected now that his is living with the angels. His daughter is introduced and you get a sneak peak on how her story will come about. I liked this story better than the first, its drawing me in and I can't wait for the next one. Well done Nicole!
Nicole Edwards is amazing at creating a world so real it draws you in and makes you feel like you could, and would, live in that world. This book is no different. You are drawn into a world with angels, demons, fae, and vampires and it all feels real. Salvation in Darkness is book two in the series. This book is a standalone and can be read without reading the first book. However, the series makes the most sense when read in order. Salvation in Darkness follows the story of Orianna and Eclipse as they navigate through the challenges of falling in love and getting their HEA. We are introduced to new characters in this story and we also see glimpses of our favorite characters from Protected in Darkness. Whether you are usually a fan of paranormal romance or not you should definitely give this series a chance. *I was given an ARC in return for providing my honest review*
Dare I say that Salvation in Darkness, book 2 in the Misplaced Halos series, is better than book 1. After finishing Protected in Darkness, we were given the beginnings of this wonderful new world of angels and demons and now with Salvation in Darkness the author has stepped up her game with new characters and creatures, new relationships, and a deeper understanding of this new world. There is still action, and hotter than hot chemistry between Eclipse and Orianna, and more revelations about what the angels are fighting. Once you start reading this book, the story, the characters, and the relationships just pull you in until you have finished and want the next book, the next brother, the next relationship.
Misplaced Halos Book 2 Salvation in Darkness by Nicole Edwards was absolutely amazing. This book had me on the edge of seat, biting my fingernails trying to figure out what was going to happen. I loved Eclipse and Orianna whole story. Eclipse is one of the angels here on Earth fighting to protect the human race along with his brothers. Orianna is using all of her time and energy continuing the search for her missing sister. When these two get together it was like a live fire on my kindle! Among Eclipse and Orianna, we also get the continuing story of Obsidian and Penelope, along with Kaj, Asmia, and Acadia. I cannot wait for more of this series. As always Nicole Edwards has developed a great world and amazing characters that only keeps me wanting more.
Nicole Edwards has developed an exciting world with Angels ,Vampires, Faes, who join forces to fight, the demons and Shadow hunters that are threatning them and Humans existence. The war between the Angel and demons are escalating. The vampires join in, but have their own problems. A rogue vampire group and the shadow hunters that want to annihilate them. The Good vampires team up with the Angels and Faes for a battle at the Darkess. This story has a lot action and suspense. Oh this second book is setting up whats coming next. and its going to be a good one! can't wait to see whats in store for them Rich Miller narration show the love and emotions in this story. I enjoyed listening to this exciting story. . 🎧audiobookobsessionreviewer🎧
Ugh! The only thing bad about this book is it had to end!! Yes I am in love with these angels & the fae & these vampires are working their way in too. I can’t remember the last time I was as excited for a series as I am for Misplaced Halos. Two books in & I am so invested in these characters. I love that while you have your main characters; in this case, Orianna & Eclipse, NE gives plenty of attention to the supporting characters & their stories. And just enough of a sneak peek of upcoming storylines to bait you in good! Of course I’ve throughly enjoy the interweaving of “family” members throughout the first 2 books & anxiously await the continuation of the series.
This is the second book in the series and is the story of Orianna and Eclipse. Orianna was on a mission to find her sister, who had been missing for six years, when she met Eclipse. He saved her life and disappeared. What she didn’t know was that he was watching over her in secret.
This book has a lot going on. Not only is it about Orianna and Eclipse, but you also have evolving story lines for Kaj, vampire friend of Obsidian, Archangel Michael, a kidnapper Fae as well as continuing the story of Penelope and Obsidian. And you can add in the familiarity of some of favorite characters from book 1.
Can’t wait to see what goes on next in this series!
