A surprising amount of fun!

Cryptid Circus is the 4th book in the Cryptid Zoo series takes place on an isolated farm and has an entirely different feel from the previous books, but not at all in a negative way. The cryptids, especially Samson, Songs and Roman were well trained and well cared for, and if not for the actions of a drunk idiot, would still have been fascinating, reading about the Circus alone would have been interesting, but, thanks to his inadvertent self sacrifice, we got an even more interesting story to enjoy! If you enjoy slow burn creature horror, Cryptid Circus is the right book for you. This book can be read as a standalone book if the rest of the series doesn't catch your attention but the circus theme does. Overall, 4/5 stars, for the right audience, this is the right book!

Now this is my kind of circus!

This was one of those books that just grabbed my attention from the beginning and just got better and better. From a nasty, old, clown who loves to kidnap teenage girls to a circus filled with cryptids, I was amazed at how everything came together. I love books about werewolves, bigfoot, and basically anything similar and I was so pleased that this book introduced a few new creatures to me. I certainly hope that there will be more adventures with this circus.

Favorite of the series

I really enjoyed this one. All the previous books have been good so far but this is my favorite of the series. None of the previous book's characters make an appearance. I really enjoyed the circus characters, especially dwarf family. The circus of misfits that were helpful and not evil was nice. The serial killer clown was a nice touch too. Overall, it was a fun, quick read with a nice pace.

Another fine mess ... !

Though it seems like a slow start, it isn't long before the action starts and when it does ...! I have really tried not to get too involved in this set of books but they have prooved too exciting to ignore!

A circus like no other

Interesting story about a missing girl, a cryptid circus with lots of amazing creatures and more. Not the best of the series but it was entertaining and kept my attention.

What happened?

I absolutely devoured this series until this book. It was a very slow mystery and not the entertaining series and characters I enjoyed. What happened? I’ll try the next one and hope this was just a speed bump in a good series.

4 Stars

I've enjoyed reading the cryptid zoo series. Book 4 to me wasn't quite as good as the other 3 but was still worth 4 stars. A circus full of cryptic animals. A bad clown kidnapping young girls. Two FBI agents hunting him makes for a lot of excitement.

Not one of his best, but still good….

The character development took a little long for my taste, but hey….. is what it is…. Once the story got rolling it was a pretty good roller coaster ride.

Fun read

Fun read as always from this author, but did not seem to have any relation to the first 3 books.

I only have this book 3 starts because I didn't love the circus theme as much, but the story held true to the premise of the series and was just as fun!

worth the time! and I’m picky

I didn’t want to put it down, finished it in one day! I like the circus aspects, little mystery and amazing imagination on the characters. Loved it!
