My favorite Silvia Violet books.
Storm is a submissive Omega with three overprotective Alpha brothers.
It makes meeting guys a real pain, despite their ownership of the local kink club.
Storm finally meets a hot military guy named Jax, but after one night together, he finds out Jax is the new hire bodyguard that his brothers I have picked out, throwing a wrench in the relationship before it can even get off the ground.
I like how tenacious and sassy Storm is. He's definitely his own person.
And while Jax is a dominant, he doesn't try and stifle Storm's natural personality.
I'm not sure which brother's book I want more, but I'm definitely sold on the series.
Nice heat level. Impact play. A/B/O, shifters, D/s, NC RP.

Bodyguard’s Bite is the second book in Silvia Violet’s engaging Howler Brothers series. We met Storm and Jax in the first book, Claiming Bite, and so I was really intrigued for their story, and wasn’t disappointed. There is a great connection between these guys right from the start, and we can feel their attraction just leaping off the page. Their scenes are intense and heated, with a lot of love and caring between them. But along with that, I really liked the dynamic between the men. Jax is protective over Storm, wanting to take care of him, both as a Dom and a partner. His military background and his current job means he is very much in caretaker mode. But at the same time, he supports Storm and his desire to be trusted and independent. Storm’s brothers are so cautious with him, always wanting him to stand back and be safe. It is important to him to be seen as someone capable and trusted to handle difficult situations and I liked how Jax is supportive of Storm in this way.

Another great installment in this series from Silvia Violet!
Storm, an omega wolf, wants to be taken seriously and to be trusted - his old, overprotective alpha brothers are always worried about his safety. Yes, he's an omega and yes he's submissive, but he can still take care of himself. I loved how independent Storm was, while still loving his submissive nature in bed. And Jax was a great match for him, especially after talking things out and making sure they were on the same page together.
I love stories that start with a bang - where the two MC's have an insanely hot hookup as strangers before discovering that they'll somehow be involved in the other's daily life the next day. In this story, Jax and Storm have an insanely hot night together before discovering that Jax has now been hired by the Howler brothers as a bodyguard - and more specifically, a bodyguard for Storm. Jax is conflicted over the professional aspect of Storm being one of his employers, but ultimately, as fated mates, they aren't able to stay away from the other.
If you want some kink - pain kink, toys, roleplay, spanking, and love shifters, this book is a great combo of that! Whew! Jax and Storm had some serious steam when they were together! I love how perfect they were for the other in bed, and how they knew exactly what to give to the other for their enjoyment.
I also love shifter books that have some great plot and conflict with inner-pack politics and conflicts, and this one definitely continued with the plot from the first book. This book also does overlap in parts with the first book in the series, so while this could stand on its own, I think it's much more enjoyable if the first book of the series is read first.
Can't wait for the other two brothers to get their stories. I'm really really looking forward to Shadow's story, since I think he'll have such an emotional, interesting story to tell once we know who his mate is!

This installment definitely redeemed this series. Everything that was missing from the first book was definitely added to the second book. The story flowed very smoothly the plot was well written and very entertaining. Silvia added just the perfect amount of BDSM in this book. Storm and Jax story had me captivated from the very beginning.
Storm is a submissive Omega who wants to be taken seriously and to be given more responsibility in the family business, but due to the fact he’s surrounded by three over protective brother who thinks he's a vulnerability to their enemies limits the freedom he’s given by his brothers. Even though Storm is the glue and the strength that’s holds the family together.
Jax is an ex military soldier whose been train to lead and eliminate threats. So when he shows up to the Howlers kink club to scope the place out. Storm immediately sees an opportunity to scratch his itch without the interference of his over protective brother’s cock blocking him. Both MC’s find kindred spirits whose fantasy are in sync with one another. Both enjoyed one hot wild and steamy night together.
I really like the dynamics and chemistry between Storm and Jax. Even though Jax is very dominant and over protective of Storm he doesn’t stifle him and he doesn’t prevent Storm from being the man he wants to be. He encourages him, and let him know he believes and trust in him. He just wants him to think first and have a plan before jumping in head first.
The impact play between them was smoking HOT! I couldn’t wait to see what other goodies he had install for Storm. This fan girl loved every wicked scenes they played out. A DEFINITE Must Read.
Silvia leaves readers wondering which brothers book might be next. Whomever's book is next I can’t wait. Will it be Bryce or Garrett? Storm left me very intrigued in the end to read Garrett’s story.

Bodyguard's Bite is another great book by Silvia Violet. The second in the Howler Brother's series, it's easily read as a standalone.
It starts with a hot hookup where Storm keeps his identity a secret from Jax. But soon Jax is Storm's new employee, starting of a great forbidden romance.
Jax's a former soldier, now tasked with protecting Storm, who happens to be a rich kink club owner. Together, these two are super hot, passionate, and steamy. There's some D/s that includes some spanking and discipline, but there isn't a whole lot of BDSM overall.
Their story combines hiding and secrets, danger and action. I'm normally not a big fan of shifters, but in this story, I loved it. My favorite has to be when one of the brothers is in wolf form, just sitting on the couch being comforted by another brother who's in human form. It's just sweet and something I didn't expect.
The Howler brothers are a strong, supportive unit. The family is a whole lot of fun. I enjoy how protective they are, despite them being over the top, treating Storm like a child. But, damn, Storm is out to prove himself to his family and it's fantastic.

Bodyguard’s Bite is the second book in author Silvia Violet’s Howler Brother’s series. I did not read the first book in this series and I was not lost at all. I really love the world Ms. Violet has created in this series. The relationships are strong and make me want more. I love the emotional angst and action in this book. This book is written in dual pov and does end on a cliff hanger.
Storm is a submissive with alpha brothers who think they need to protect him. Although his brothers tended to be overprotective, I loved how Storm is still able to live up to his name. I am enjoying this shifter series so much. I am a sucker for shifters anyway, but this one ticks my kink/ bdsm box, my close family ties box, my morally ambiguous characters box (I live for the gray), my fated mates box, and finally my HEA box.
Author Violet's writing is clever and smart. It displays a lot of societal comparisons and prejudices by using different shifter species and also by comparing shifter society as a whole against mundane humans.
Heavy themes such as trafficking, underage prostitution, dub-con/ non-con, and assault are present though not explicit.
What is explicit and explosive are the scenes between Storm and Jax. Phew! Those scenes are so hot, you might need oven mitts to hold your book while reading.
While the Howler Brothers work to clean and make better lives for shifter society, Fate is lending her hand by sending mates to balance these men. Jax is the perfect mate for Storm, inside and out. Together they work to bring down a bear shifter who has been abusing his job's power, and his family privilege to take advantage of and steal from one of the Howlers' Businesses.
Can be read as a standalone, but more fun if read as part of the series, in my opinion.

I enjoyed reading this intriguing MM shifter romance, it is the second book in the series “Howler Brothers” & can be read as a standalone. I found the plot to be well-written & entertaining. The characters are well-developed with good chemistry between them; I particularly enjoyed the straight-forward way (Storm) approached (Jax) & then how Jax tried to resist Storm after he was employed to protect him, only to discover that fate & love will not be denied.
There is: various kinds of shifters, humans, a shifter council, a submissive but independent wolf shifter (Storm), his caring brothers (King, Garrett, Bryce & Shadow), ex-special forces dominant wolf shifter (Jax), fated mates, friendship, some domination/submission, discipline, spankings, drama, intrigue, suspense, secrets, danger, deceit, betrayal, threats, enemies, devious plans, disagreements, compromises, discovery, coercion, determination, verbal banter, frustration, manipulations, advice, plans, vengeful feelings, confrontations, aggression, thankfulness, love, contentment, steamy scenes & a delightful satisfying epilogue. Another great add to the series. If you loved the first one you'll die for this one. These brothers are addicting for sure and I want to know more about each of them. This books timeframe over laps some with book 1 because Storm and Jax met before book 1 started; so we get all those pieces that you wondered about before and also get to see their happy ending!!! I loved Storm so much, he is adorable and fierce with the perfect mix of both. With brothers who are all over protective and strong it takes the right person to win them over and prove that he can take care of Storm. Jax is sexy, badass but also a sweet marshmallow when it comes to his mate. These two together is intense and chemistry is fantastic. I loved seeing Storm's side of things when dealing with his brothers; how he tries to be himself and live his life as their equal. Kinky and sexy in the best way and hints to the future and all I can say is I hope Shadow is next!!! I voluntarily reviewed an 'Advance Author’s Copy' of this book.

This series is getting stronger with each book. And though we're only on the second of the series, I can already see that with how much better this is than the first, we're definitely going to keep getting better and better. Especially when you bring in the external drama that the family gets wrapped up in too.
What I enjoyed most about Bodyguard's Bite was the connection between Storm and Jax. They had an intense connection from the beginning that was present throughout. While I wasn't thrilled with the constant denial, I think it was a good idea for them to try and find some distance so they could discover the depth of their pull as mates. How the distance was achieved bothered me because it felt a little forced and with more ignoring than forethought. If it had been a little more believable I would have been much more okay with how it played out. Their chemistry was definitely hot and that was something that never waned.
A small annoyance was the way the overlap between books one and two was included. Being more like a quick summary took the tension out of the moment and didn't allow that tension to act as a tool to intensify Storm's internal struggle with getting to Jax or Emerson.
Aside from those two things, I think the MC's were likable, the rest of the family intriguing, and the drama was interesting. I'm very curious to know more of the brothers' stories and where we're going to go from here.

Delightful story with steam, intrigue, complex characters and an intense love. This was so much fun to read. I loved the family dynamics and the complex situations that were part of the story-line. I really enjoyed each brother and the supporting characters will continue to appear in the next books i hope.
Storm and Jax really sizzle from the first pages of this story and they will steam up your kindle for sure. There is so much more to these guys then the steam, they are so connected and each has their struggle and together they do find their way.
This is book two of the Howler Brothers series and could be read as a stand-alone. I would recommend reading book one also because it is really good and will give you more insight into all the brothers. Looking forward to the next books!

As an Omega wolf they're always worried for his safety so they hire him a former leader of a shifter special forces unit, Jax for his protection unknowing that they've already met when they had an extremely hot night together.

This series I recommended to be read in order as this includes part from book 1 . Written in both pov's, this has a fantastic ending for Storm and Jax.

Even as a follower of Slivia Violet’s book, this series was a nice surprise for me. Catching it up at book 2 is never enough (I just started now book 1) but as this book can be read as standalone it was no issue. The story is all about finding someone who loves you, and accept you unconditionally even with a few (ok, a lot of) kinks and perks, someone whom you trust too much that you can trust him everything including your inner fantasies. Add to it shifters, fated mates, an interesting plot with a lot of dangers and a great HEA and you’d get a wonderful love story!! I want to add that the Dom/sub hot scenes between Jax and Storm are some of the best I ever read!!

Man this was so good!
We learn some surprising things in this book. I sure had Jax's character figured out wrong and I'm so glad. He is perfect for Storm. The names slay me. We got the cool names King, Storm, and Shadow with the other two brothers named Garrett and Bryce. I kind of feel bad for those two. Nice names but nowhere near as cool as the other three lol. I think I know what's going on with Garrett and it looks like we know what's in store for Bryce. We might even have a hint with Shadow but with this author we will still be getting a lot of surprising twists that's for sure. I can't wait for what comes next.

Amazing! I loved it!
Gah! I loved this so much! The foreshadowing in book one was on point! I saw this coming a mile away and I could not be happier. I can't wait for the next book! I adore Storm and Jax. Storm is so strong but he needs out of the watchful eyes of his brothers to show it. Jax is absolutely perfect for him in every way. He provides just the right amount of discipline combined with complete and utter trust. I also really loved the action and conflict, they provided the perfect amount of interest to balance the incredibly hot sexy scenes. This book and the first have a kink element that makes them super steamy. Read this you won't regret it.

The second instalment of this great shifter series is full of sass, stubbornness and a fair bit of kink. When I read the first book, I thought there was more to the connection between Jax and Storm, I was not disappointed by the story we have been given.
I really enjoyed this book, it has the right amount of kinky sex and action with two main characters who are perfect for each other. The writing was fast paced which was great for the storyline, we learn more about the other brothers, I’m really looking forward to the next book as this is a series that has good characters throughout. Well worth reading.

This is my first book in this series, and well it was a good read.
We meet Jax and Storm, and we follow them through a casual hot hookup the day before they finds out Jax is hired as Storms bodyguard. Storm's brothers are overprotected, tho we see Storm can protect himself.
There is also this pack politics going on, and we see how they all are solving things.
Storm and Jax struggles too and needs to talk things through before they admit they can't stay off of each other.
There are also hot moments with BDSM elements in this. Since they are both wolves, the sex is rougher than normal.
I connected with the two mcs and it was a goood read for me.

Love the story of Storm and Jax. I saw glimpses of them in the first book and I couldn't wait to read their story, I definitely was not disappointed. They are incredibly hot and sexy together. I love watching their relationship progress even as they try to stay away from each other but their pull is way too strong. I really like that Jax is accepting of all sides of Storm. Their erotic scenes together are incredibly hot!! I can't wait for the stories of the other brothers. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

This is a great new Alpha/omega shifter story. I absolutely loved Storm, an omega with 4 Alpha brothers. (Can you say over-protective?) Storm is smart, sassy, and independent. He ends up hooking up with Alpha Jax at a club for some hot, sexy times, but then - oh no - Jax is Storm's new bodyguard. *Awkward* They try to resist, but fated is fated. I really enjoyed the characters. Although this book is part of a series, it works just fine as a stand alone read.

The second book in the series Storm, who we met in book 1 as he was helping out Emerson's and King. Storm is underestimated and protected by his family but when he meets Jax he treats him totally different from the start. This book is h-o-t hot starting at the first chapter. I loved seeing Jax and Shadow relationship even though when they were apart.
We also got to see more from the other brothers (Shadow, Bryce and Garrett). I can't wait to see who gets the next book because they all seems to have really interesting stories.

I really hoped this book would be better than the first installment but, sadly for me, I didn’t get what I wanted from this story. Storm and Jax are both great characters and having their timeline run alongside King and Emerson’s was certainly interesting. But again, I struggled with some of the BDSM items and felt that the author neglected the reality of that lifestyle.
I’m sure I’ll continue to read these as I’m curious to see what’ll happen for the other three brothers.

What a great addition to the Howler Brothers series. Bodyguard's Bite is a hot, sexy, fun read. The connection between Storm and Jax is evident right from the start. Their chemistry jumps right off the page. I enjoyed seeing their relationship develop, I'm looking forward to reading more in this entertaining series.

The author has taken the standard bodyguard/client, forbidden relationship and Alpha /Omega storylines and given them a fantastic, smoking hot, sweet, amazing, fresh, original, and totally awesome twist. I really enjoyed this entry in the Howler Brothers series, and I can't wait to see what happens next.
