The party was supposed to be easy. Wear a mask, dress sexy, and get laid. When a stranger walked in, everything changed. I didn't expect him to look at me that way or touch me so perfectly. I also didn't expect to meet him again months later, working at the same company and leading the biggest project of my career. Luckily, he doesn't remember me until one slip of the tongue throws me back in. Nathan Richards isn't exactly single, and his roommate and boyfriend, Clark Peterson, has other...interesting ideas.
My name is Melanie Hoffer and I've wanted to be an author my entire life. In 2019, my life changed when I FINALLY finished that book I'd been writing, and The Wild Rose Press took a chance on me. I love romance with extra heat! Come join me on this wild ride!
This was my first book by Melanie and let me tell you it was an absolute joy to read. The chemistry between her characters is almost palpable and the storyline flows easily. A wonderful read for lovers of romance, highly recommended.
BOOK REVIEW: Falling for Two is a steamy tribute to throuple positivity. I absolutely loved this book. Healthy boundaries, equality, communication, and balance between each of the three relationships (M1M2, M1F, and M2F) were all discussed, modeled, and explored without becoming preachy. Our female MC is Brianna who is driven but not a workaholic, NYC career-woman. I loved her relationship with her bestie, Lucy. Lucy also models healthy boundaries in poly relationships even though her relationship didn’t work out. She’s not bitter and supports Brianna in navigating her new relationship.
The guys are positively swoon-worthy for opposite reasons. Nathan is the sexy nerd who you bring home to mom. He has a workaholic attitude, suit-&-tie style, mile-wide responsibility streak, and a secret freaky side. In contrast, Clark wears his wild side as his outside. He’s a hard rocker with a soft heart. One look into his guy-lined baby blues and Brianna was hooked…like everyone who has read this book. I loved the tender moments between the guys and their love language (acts of service) to one another. It was obvious this wasn’t a fetish book from page one and a true romance. I’m not going to get into the sex scenes but wear light clothing, hydrate, and bring a fan when you read them.
Overall, I highly recommend this hawt, hawt, hawt romance for its positive depiction of throuple relationships, memorable characters, and heart-warming plot.
Don't think, just buy and enjoy!! I received this book as a gift and I am so glad I did. I can tell a book will be good by how much i get sucked in without knowing it. The first time i started reading i was hooked for 2 hours of reading. I didn't want to put it down, i wanted more, and more was definitely served. Finished reading the book over 4 nights. For a story that takes place during a short span of time, it packed in the heat in all ways possible. The drama and spice was the perfect amount in my opinion. Looking forward to more from this author for sure!
Goodreads: "What do you think?" ... I think I need a cold shower to cool down. Hot. hot. hot. This book makes me realize that I need a man...or two. :-)
I really enjoyed reading this! It's not my usually genre, but I'm glad I gave this a shot. The story surprised me a few times, especially the bitter sweet ending. I'm a little sad it didn't end with the three of them happily every after, but there's something satisfying about Nathan fucking up so badly and regretting everything in the end. I love Bri and Clark together and they seem like they're going to have a happy life together.

I like a good throuple romance. There’s something fun about two guys and a girl all enjoying themselves…and each other. This book had all the right things. Three people drawn to each other. Two guys devoted to each other, too. A woman who knew what she wanted. Romance. It was hot.
I liked the aspect of the party, the faceless interaction and heat, too. It really brought me into the story. The work romance aspect was good, too. Where some books have a struggle with throuples, this one balanced the various people rather well. I got a good idea of who each character was and how they felt about each other. It didn’t feel like one couple was more important than the other partners.
I wasn’t a fan of how Nathan and Bri got together. It felt like Clark had been left out and that bugged me. I’m also not a fan of first person stories. While this wasn’t my cuppa told in this POV, it might be perfectly fine for other readers, so don’t be deterred.
If you’re looking for something hot, spicy and exciting, this might be exactly what you’re looking for. Try it!
I'd never heard about Melanie Hoffer before, but I came across this book on Booktok and I'm too thankful I did.
The spice in this book was so well done. The spice scenes were well-written and enjoyable. There was healthy communication, well-set boundaries, and what seemed like a good balance in this MMF relationship. The FMC maintained a good relationship with her best friend instead of letting the friendship falter like I feel like happens in a lot of whirlwind romance books.
I felt the deep-seated love between all 3 of the characters. Melanie Hoffer wrote characters who felt like actual real people. Their relationships weren't perfect, they made mistakes, they had insecurities, they were flawed. All while genuinely falling for each other.
The only thing bringing my review down is the ending. I wish the end of the book gave us just a little bit more. I'm not even upset about the actual ending, it just felt super rushed for some reason.
This is the story about three people trying to find their way through a relationship And all its trials and tribulations. This book is brutally, honest,, raw with emotions and packed full of steam. This book does in on somewhat of a cliffhanger and I awaiting the redemption of Nathan!!
Fantastic book until the last 15%, where it seemed to turn very unexpectedly and rushed to an unfulfilling end. Hopefully there will be a follow up. Much was left unresolved.
🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶5/5 Wow. This book was soo much more than what I was expecting. It sucked me in and kept me there. The writing was so good. Also how dare it make me feel so many emotions 😂
