பரபரவென்று திருப்பங்கள் நிறைந்த ஒரு கதை எழுத வேண்டுமென்று ஆசை. அதன் விளைவு தான் இந்த "நேர்க்கோடு" சாம்ராட் கதையில் ஒரு வரி வரும், "ஒரு நேர்க்கோடை போல இருந்தது அவன் செயல்பாடு" என்று . அதற்கு ஏறுமாறாக, நேர்கோட்டில் பயணிக்காத இந்த கதைக்கு முரணாக இந்த தலைப்பு. அஞ்சனா, கனி, பத்ரி , கதிர் இவர்களுக்கிடையே நடக்கும் சதுரங்க ஆட்டம் தான் இந்த கதை. இதில் எல்லாரும் ஏதோ ஒன்றை அடைய , ஏதோ ஒன்றை மறைக்கிறார்கள். யார் நல்லவர் ? யார் கெட்டவர்? ஏன் ? எதற்கு ? என கேள்விகள் கதை நெடுக வரச்செய்து , காதல் அதிகம் இல்லாமல் , ஒரு திரில்லராக , ஒவ்வொரு முடிச்சாக அவிழ்க்க முயன்று இருக்கின்றேன். ஒவ்வொரு அத்தியாயம் முடிவிலும் ஒரு 'விஷயம்' தெரியவரும் .

A story without basic search for facts mentioned in the story.

One time read. Was pretty predictable. May be a thriller, but not sci-fi as sci-fi stories does their basic searches and researches and there will be supporting facts and data.

The details about 46XX is wrong. The recombination is random and no hormone is reponsible, as it is a genetic phenomenon. (based on the recent research articles). And drugs are secondary metabolites, whereas genetic engineering based DNA research focusses on protein studies. DNA codes proteins but not secondary metabolites. Writing these here as the author is known among ladies groups. I don't want someone to read a misinterpreted fact. A little search or a discussion with concerned stream people could have helped to avoid such big blunders.

There are unexpected plots for sure. But somehow unable to accept how the main character changes. May make some readers turn against such people in real life too as ppl are normally judgemental towards such people.

Overall a good one time read, if you look for just passing the time.

எதிர்பாராத திருப்பங்களுடன் விறுவிறுப்பான Tanglish கதை. இதற்கு முன் படித்த ஆங்கிலக் கதையின் முடிவில், ஒருவருக்கு இரண்டு பெயர் வைத்து கதை எழுதினால் விறுவிறுப்பாகத்தானே இருக்கும் என்ற எண்ணம் தோன்றியது. இக்கதை அது போலத்தான். என்ன அந்த பெயர் ஒரு அத்தியாயத்தில் தான் வருகிறது.

100%suspense

I am a fan of this author. Nerkodu justifies the genre. Till the last page not a single twist could be guessed. Well written!
