It was the worst day of my life.
I know most people say that about something obviously horrific—a first heartbreak, the discovery of a fatal illness, or the funeral of a loved one—but my situation was a little different.
Not only was it my wedding day, but it was also the day I chose to die.
Two men.
The first, my Master, my captor, and my impossible love.
The other, his brother, a mafioso I was meant to ensnare and ruin.
If I had any hope of living a normal life reunited with my family, I had to make a choice.
End my old life as I knew it and start fresh, or take down the monsters that hunted me and haunted my Master.
In the end, the decision was never really mine to make. Because Alexander Davenport would come to claim me even in death.

ok so i managed to finish this and Alexander still sucks, Cosima has severe Stockholm syndrome (somebody please call a psychiatrist), Dante is cool (can't wait for his story) and the rest of the characters are forgettable

“I am Alexander Davenport, Earl of Thornton, heir to the Duchy of Greythorn. And this,” I said as I crossed to the woman I planned to spend the next hour breaking apart and the next century putting back together, “is my slave.”

GO. TO. HELL

sonofabitch, sees his wife (after what the hell she's been through) after years and announces her as a slave publicly and continues humiliating her. this is not bdsm, this is slavery, it's human trafficking, it is continuous rape and just because sb climaxes during rape doesn't mean it isn't rape. there is so much Stockholm syndrome, Cosima still doesn't value herself. I'm done with this shit. Plot is either Alexander thinking about Cosima's vagina, Cosima in a fashion show, or Cosima and Alexander bumpin' shitties.

GOD FUCKING DAMN IT!

5 Sacrificial Stars ⭐

"Were all love stories inherently tragic?"

Love should be effortless if we believed in fairy tales. But from a young age Cosima Lombardi learned that everything beautiful comes at a price including love.

Sold into slavery to settle a debt and to provide a future for her mother and siblings, she still bears the scars from the aftermath. Betrayed and heartbroken she has returned to modelling where her beauty is put to good use; creating riches to keep those she loves taken care of. And if she's barely surviving, it's a small price for freedom and honour. A freedom she would willingly surrender to be back in the arms of her one master, Lord Alexander Davenport.

"To see her was to want her, to know her at all was to be enamoured by her."

He was never meant to love her. She was merely a pawn for his revenge. It was against the rules of the 'Order' to fall in love with your slave. But for Alexander, Cosima has always been his weakness. Forced to break the chains that bind them, time is required to settle the wrongs and to reclaim what is rightfully his.

"Wherever you are, however far away for whatever length of time, I’m yours."

Enamoured is the epic conclusion of the forbidden and destructive love story of Alexander and Cosima. This tale of stolen innocence, corruption, manipulation and ultimately love will have you holding your breath in anticipation. There is so much wrong with the paths these two travelled but I was totally riveted. Their love will eventually conquer the insurmountable obstacles, and one should never doubt Alexander's determination to have her back. I have waited a long time for the ending of The Enslaved Duet, and it was totally worth it. If you are one for a dark, gritty love story, you need this story immediately.
Please note this cannot be read as a standalone.

This conclusion to Cosima and Lord Thornton’s romance was long, twisted, tragic, violent and frankly unbelievable. I can overlook some issues but it became more and more far fetched. Enough so it could sit on a paranormal shelf with the evil that is Noel. In the first book he was set up as a doting father figure, then he showed his true colors. In this book his colors seem only black and beyond human. I will explain a little later on.

Cosima has escaped from the Pearl Hall celebrations of her marriage to Alexander, Xan. For some reason he doesn’t know that she was taken to the dungeon and beaten by Noel in front of the half brother of Xan, Rodger. Rodger is the spawn of the evil Noel and he is teaching him how to be beyond evil....this apparently works.

Cosima is now a well renowned model, living in NY and still haunted by her connection to Xan. She is still the ever doting daughter. I still can’t get over how much she takes responsibility for her family. The sisters are unaware of her real plight and selfishly feed at the Cosima trough. No one asks how she is, no one sees her apart from Dante. Dante the brother of Xan and belongs to mafia in the US now while hiding the living Salvatore (father of Cosima and Xan believes he killed his mother).

There are an enormous list of allies, spies, the Order, the Mafia, MI5, the Prime Minister of the UK, socialites, slaves etc. so many threads and on top and beyond all reach seemingly is Noel. He is on “house arrest”. Mmm how does one deal with that type of punishment when your house is Pearl Hall equipped with servants, gardens, ballrooms, dungeons and so on? Well Noel being on house arrest seems to be irrelevant because he is to blame for;
Keeping track of Cosima
Keeping track of his sons
Keeping alliances within the Order and Mafia in another country
Setting up a hit and kidnapping of Cosima twice
Able to have his son come and go as his lackey (who at one point is described at being fourteen.

With all the goings on it seems the author has given the villain too much power. There are too many things he has set in motion while supposedly being under watch. Meanwhile the hero constantly drones on about how he won’t let anything happen to Cosima.
She is manhandled by a member of the order, who wants her as his slave
Blackmailed by the same man
Kidnapped by her father figure who appears for an instant and then gone again
Attacked in a deli where she kills the mafia boss and is shot and put in hospital
Kidnapped again from her mother’s restaurant during a family celebration
Held captive by Noel for almost two weeks where she has to kill or be killed and manages to kill no less than three people in one night after being abused, starved, etc

So you see even though the book had many things going on there was simply too much to make it in any way believable in any way. The hero, Dante, her dads, cook, bodyguard, always thwarted by ONE man a continent away. How is that possible?🙃

Wow after the end of book one of this duett i waited really hard for this conlcusion. This book gave me a lot of things I exspected because of knowing other books written by Miss Darling.
We got such an intense story❤️ all those different feelings ripped me a part while reading.
A long the story we had seen a lot of story and character development. Wich brought so much tension into this second book, because we never knowed whats gonna happen next.
As a few auhtors are only able to Giana brings up Serious themes in her books but makes it possible to relate to her charcters while they dealing with them. Again this books shows us a theme thtas kind of tabu in todays society even if every one knows this things are happening.
I was really caught by the thoughts both of the characters because they are making the story more interesting.
All this tension and sparks in this books get me hugged to this story from page one.
Alexander is Man whose heart seemed to be caged but if someone gets in to it he fights for this person. He mostly is a serious person and likes beautiful things and women. Also it's important to him to make the rules in his life. And if he orders something it happens most of the time.
Cosima is a young girl who things a lot. Family is really important to her. She is really strong and sometimes do not follows rules. She questions things that seem wrong to her.
All in all i can say that this hot swoon story is totally catching. If you fell for the first book this book is perfect for you. So much energy and much events that made this book so amasing. All the possible stars.

I have been waiting patiently for the conclusion of Cosima & her Master’s story. The ending of book one had me seriously bent out of shape & wondering where Giana would go with this story. Well I can tell you - she went all the way! She absolutely smashed it.

If you thought book one was dark and complex hang onto your hat for book two!

As with Enthralled, this one explores VERY dark themes. You get betrayals, brotherhoods and brutality. You know what else you get? A love story. It’s obviously not your average love story and there were moments I raged at these characters, and moments I raged for them.

Cosima & her Master share a passion and connection that defies societal norms. Their love doesn’t make sense to most people. For me that’s what makes it so special. Loving someone because you cannot feel any other way is a love story I will sign up for every day of the week.

It’s dark, it’s delicious and it’s dirty AF. Gasp out loud moments. Stunning imagery. Chemistry that drips from the page and characters I feel like I know.

Giana at her filthy best. Yes Master. Yes please!

I received an arc of this book.

Am happy they found their way together again. I’m not sure I can wrap my head around how their beginning can be undone but they want each other-so ce la vie.

A little segue as I am reading the books out of order but Cosmina annoyed me in how harshly she judged Elena for not moving on and choosing bitterness. The bitterness is a symptom of how betrayed she felt and from her history of being mistreated.

Elena is my favourite sister. One betrayed her. The other judges her for not ignoring her absolutely understandable feelings. Yes Cosmina May have recognised Elena and Sinclair’s unsuitability but it doesn’t dismiss that she had genuine feelings for him. Sebastian needed to be nodded at by Giselle-thus giving her permission for him to leave with Elena after Elena attacked Christopher to save Giselle. The family does not deserve Elena.

There is no BDSM is this duet series. There are rapes, starvation, beatings, repeated humiliations.
The plot is all over the place, plot holes everywhere. Nothing makes sense.
The characters are completely crazy. The "hero" deserved to die and the heroine should be in therapy for the rest of her life.

I feel absolutely horrible writing this review. First book by Giana that I didn’t like at all! Scenes felt more of a been there done that kinda thing. Chemistry between characters were awkward for me. She runs away from him after facing something horrible by his father but manages to fuck him once more before leaving? It all felt odd. The dialogues were mediocre at best.
Cosima lost her child in the first novel and it was kinda brushed over in my humble opinion. I wanted a proper grievance for her. I guess the root problem is that I don’t feel connected to the character. Cosima talks about being a model and being vain but nothing about her character shows she’s vain. I’m a vain person so I get it. Nothing wrong with being an exhibitionist and being vain. There were no description of how she’s vain other than she likes to watch herself as she gets fucked in the mirror. And that was only once!
I dislike when there’s 7 big dramatic scenes happening to the main characters and at that point it doesn’t make sense. It started to feel repetitive. I’m so sorry but this is how I feel. I don’t hate this author’s work. I’ve read some of the best sex scenes from her. I will continue to read and support her.

Well, what can I say?... After reading Dante's story, I think I was expecting too much from Giana because these duet couldn't keep up.
Clearly this one is better than the first, a 4.6 stars. Maybe it was too long... It lingered too much... Don't know...
Let's see what Sinclair and Giselle offers, though I'm not that anxious like I was with The Enslaved duet.
I'm waiting on the story about Sebastian, the last Lombardi siblings 🤭

Every predator is prey to something.

Giana Darling’s writing is always a delight to read. With a distinct flourish, the dark sensuous sentences and bright romantic moments intertwine into an evocative and raw narrative. Full of wanton twists and devious intentions, the eroticism and lasciviousness delivered a rich, intricate romance—the vicious albeit flawless conclusion for Cosima and Alexander.

They made him into a monster, so I was going to become theirs.

Cosima, still shadowed by heartache, blooms into a fiercer woman with strength and reverence. She’s constructed fortified and hardened barriers to enclose her bruised and battered heart, but this decision doesn’t diminish her abilities to become a contender in an uncertain and dangerous situation, or belittle her tenacious and determined attitude to succeed in obtaining an evermore.

Devilish and handsome, Alexander’s as casually devious and cruelly deviant, threaded with a hardened exterior and promises of licentious domination and debauched servitude. However, we witness a softer, more affectionate side blossom that made falling in love with this cold anti-hero easier. His warm-hearted side is reserved for Cosima—his wife, his slave and his beauty.

“Where ever you are, however far away for whatever length of time, I’m yours.”

In Enamoured, Xan and Cosi have a bittersweet reunion, but the moment they reunite is short-lived; there’s no lack of imminent danger lurking within the shadows, or sacrifice to secure a safe, irrevocable love forevermore. It is savage and arduous, however the outcome is as beautifully intense and wonderfully passionate. Xan and Cosi’s connection burns brighter and magnifies into something greater.

****AVAILABLE NOW - FULL REVIEW ****

4 Love of the Gods CROWNS

GAHH!! Giana’s writing is always so solid, her prose gorgeously written, and Enamoured is the exemplification off all that I love about her style.

Master Alexander did not disappoint in any capacity with the way he loves and fights for Cosmi. I honestly couldn’t have loved this man who thinks so little of his capacity to love but has the biggest heart.

Cosmi transform from a slave to a queen, and I loved the way she transformed, always willing to sacrifice for those she loves and punish those who harm them.

The plot was way more involved than I thought it would be, and there were many threads running, which at times detracted from the overall plot of Alexander and Cosima. Without giving away spoilers, there are parts that I felt were glossed over, that I wanted more details about, more build up to those moments. Now this is a lengthy book, so maybe that wasn’t possible. I did love the epilogue, and my heart was so happy for these two people who fought so hard for the HEA.

Overall, I loved this world. I became enamoured with this couple and, as always, the writing of Giana Darling.

"Every predator is prey to something."

I am so proud to say it was worth waiting The Most awaiting and highly anticipated book when the outcome is so outstanding that after finishing the book you still want more. It was way better than my expectations. It was Dark, full of thrilling twists, it's about undying brutle, agonizing love of two sad and broken soul. This was one hell of a book while reading you have been through all sort of emotions that one could endure in the span of his/her life.

"I was Cosima Ruth Lombardi. Born August 24th 1998 in Napoli, Italian to Caprice Maria Lombardi and Amadeo Vitale Salvatore. I was not a victim. I was a survivor.

This is a story about enslavement, depravity of the elite secret society. Story of Master and his slave, it's about the sacrifices one made for the Love ones. It's about the Predator who was also a prey, it depicts some dark , cruel, and fucked up aspect of the bitter Reality that made your skin crawl.

"“This is who you are,” he whispered into my ear, tracing the gold thorns around my throat so that I shivered. “Not just a slave, a trinket to own and flaunt and punish, but my slave, my topolina. A woman so beautiful it makes me ache. A warrior so powerful Joan and Artemis would shudder at your feet. Do you know how it makes me feel to make you sweat and cum and cry? It makes me feel like a God, fierce enough to deserve you, and a peasant, wholly unworthy of such a magnificent gift.”

As much it's dark as it also evolve around a passionate love that started under fucked up situation and seems unhealthy but there were loyalty and sincerity in it. And then gradually it become everything a love should have

"“You are mine, topolina,” he vowed with the same solemnity he had spoken his vows at our wedding. “I know this because everyone is a slave to something, and I am enslaved by you.”

"“Where ever you are, however far away for whatever length of time, I’m yours.”

There's way to much to say but won't enough or should I say my words won't enough to describe the beauty of the book, other than that it was undoubtedly a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ star book, unable to put down, kept you on edge till end with anticipation. And HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for those who binge themselves in dark a d twisted romance read .

I had my doubts, I really fucking did.
But this book ATE.

I DEVOURED this. Every page, every word, every letter. It SERVED.
I loved the characters development and growth. Seeing Cosima embrace her darker side and grown into who she was after the trauma she went through. Seeing Alexander soften only for his beauty and embrace his more loving and caring side. Seeing them evolve and mature as a couple.
It was all so. Well. Done.

And if you read my review for Enthralled you will know that my one concern was that Cosima wasn't going to have her own mind, beliefs, be able to make her own decisions, that she was going to remain in that slave mindset outside of sex and scenes, but guess what?? My concern was unnecessary and I could not be happier.
She had her own mind, she made her own choices, and he let her 🙌
(yes, I know the bar in on the floor)

I LOVED this book and while no, I would not want to be in a relationship with Alexander, butttttt would I fuck him?
...
HELL FUCKING YES 🤣

This was one of the year’s most anticipated reads for me. I absolutely LOVED Enthralled, so I have been dying for Enamoured. It was everything I wanted and more! The perfect conclusion to The Enslaved Duet. It’s sexy, dark, and so fucking dirty. Gah! I’d kneel for Master Alexander any day of the week!
If you like dark romance, this is a duet that you just can’t miss. It’s definitely not for the faint of heart. I LOVE when I get to say that in a book review! I like my books as depraved as they can get and The Enslaved Duet is top notch! Highly recommend!

Giana Darling was trying to kill me. Enamoured planned my death by never ending shocks. This whole story is an extravagant festival of dark sensuality, jaw dropping secrets and all consuming love. My heart was a puppet and Giana made it dance, cry, faint, swoon and break with her genius writing.

Enamoured was one of my most anticipated read in recent times. Cosima and Alexander 's story ended at a massive cliffhanger in Enthralled. And I was dying to know what will happen. Giana did not disappoint me. This story has so many layers and interconnected compartments. This story has dual POV and that was really important. Because I needed to feel this epic journey from both side. Alexander is finally coming at terms with his feelings about Cosima. And Cosima is trying to find herself and rebuild herself after the devastating events in England. The story has so many factors obstructing and interfering. The ancient corrupt, dirty, obnoxious and power hungry Order of Dionysus. The twisted royalty of England the celebrity fashion world. The mafia. And above all Cosima and Alexander's own feelings. Time is going to test them and Giana is going to drag them to through hell. I was cursing out loud in frustration because as soon as I was swooning and melting in the glorious Master Sub magic, she would do something to make everything bleak and painful. But that made this story more enticing, more tragic and more special.

Cosima Lombardi is a goddess. Inside out beautiful, this woman can rule the world with her incredible strength, compassionate heart big like the ocean and perseverance that would put most powerful men to shame. The horrors she suffered enforced the hardness of her heart. I felt nauseous and enraged with all the degradation and torture she suffered. And yet she is the most gorgeous, courageous and forgiving woman ever. A pillar of strength for everyone in her life and a source of golden light to every dark soul, including her Master Xan. My heart was breaking for this utterly dominating and completely infuriating man. His demons are no less savage than Cosima's. He may lead the life of the riches but he is empty and cold inside. Only his feelings for Cosima made him alive. And Giana wrote a lyrical description of how he fell in love with slave piece by piece. His brutality and cruelty is directed to anyone trying to harm her. His need of dominance finds a vessel in Cosima. This chemistry is really indescribable. I was speechless, breathless and mesmerized with the power of the emotions. The words flowed effortlessly like a dreamy poem in my heart. And I had no choice but surrender to the raw beauty of their explosive passion. It was the steamiest and sexiest relation I read this year. Dominance and Submission is tricky but god help me, Giana is a champion of the game. Pleasure and pain mixed and balanced to create pure ecstasy and love.

Enamoured is the very definition of true love. Timeless, defying everything, all consuming, soul deep and intense to the extreme. Giana's words hold my heart and soul as hostage. Every angsty moment, every sweet memory and every little twist has left a permanent mark. Be ready to worship at the alter of Master Alexander and be enamoured by Cosima.

Book two in this exciting and steamy dark romance is finally here and well worse the wait! In book one, Cosima Lombardi finds out she is to be sold on her 18th birthday as payment for a debt to a devilish man named Alexander Davenport or as Cosima will learn to know him as Master! We start this book where Enthralled left off with Cosmia disappearing after her wedding to Alexander. He wants her back no matter what! “To see her was to want her, to know her at all was to be Enamoured by her.” Was it the Secret Society, The Order, he was pledged to or was it someone else that took her if she was even taken at all? Can Alexander fight against them and really win to rein free? We finally find out how strong The Order of the Dionysus truly are and how much power they contain. Can Cosmia find herself again and put the past behind her or will a part of her be missing? Cosima Lombardi & Alexander Davenport’s tumultuous, intense relationship continues in this epic conclusion. Beware of Master’s wrath! An undeniable connection, betrayal, lies, passion and many many twists await you in this conclusion to the Enslaved Duet. Some BDSM, Told in dual POV

These two share something so raw and beautiful while being so patient and full of love. It’s not accepted or understood by most, but it’s theirs and that’s what makes it special!

I do really look forward to a story with Elena and Dante. Hoping the author throws them together!

I’m over this book. I refuse to read it, I’m shocked that though my question on her social media was not aggressive any way, they were just to ask when the book would be released, they had the audacity to delete my comment and act like I don’t exist. If you follow her on Instagram - She’s always on vacation or out on a boat somewhere, and overused the word SOON when it comes to her release. She promised a release in May, then July and then a “surprise” release in August, told one of her fans that it would be released in August for sure. It’s september, and it’s gotten to a point where she doesn’t take her readers serious enough to address the situation or keep us updated. I’ve never felt so disrespected by an author, and not to mention we’ve all been lied to. I don’t care how good this book will be if it ever releases. No longer one of her “darlings”!

TW: a lot of messed up shit happens in this duet.

Where do i start? I really liked the first book, and although it revolved around him buying her a s#x slave, i liked the idea and i was looking forward on how in this book Cosima forgive Alexander for the shit he did, and how he would grovel to try to get her back. That did not happen here......

First Cosima is a dumbass, a hypocrite, and thinks the world revolves around her. I liked her until around the 40% mark, she thinks no one is intitled to give her their opinions on her life, or judge her, but at the same time she does this to other people. For example she had a suspicion that her sister giselle was having an affair with her other sisters fiance, but she decided to not tell her sister anything, because "Thats their story, and i shouldn't interfer", i wouldve respected this choice if SHE DIDNT INTERFER IN HER SISTERS LIFE!!! She straight up told her to get over her fiance cheating on her with her sister, and to grow up???? and then she started talking about HOW MUCH shes been through, as if her trauma is worse than her sisters, so she should just suck it up and forgive them. im sorry but that just made me mad, and to top it all off she asked her sister Elena (who was cheated on) to be a lawyer in Dantes case, and tried to guilt trip her.

“And why would she fight from this corner for a man she does not know, let alone a man like me?”
I tipped my chin just as she would have with pride radiating through my voice. “Because I asked her to, and there is nothing she wouldn’t do for me.”

When she said this i almost deleted the book, like her ego is so big. OH yeah and she still stayed friends with the ex-fiance, and WAS soooo happy that he and her sister Giselle were getting married, and kept talking about how happy she was that they found love, but kept talking about Elena as if shes just SOOO bitter that her ex married her sister, AND GOT HER PREGNANT behind her back.

Now lets talk about Alexander, at the beggining i was happy that he wasnt as dumb as i expected him to ber (considering he's pushing 40), but then he just got stupid for no reason, he kept his father alive for absoulotly no reason, and was surprised Cosima got kidnapped???? like bitch you KNEW your father has enough reach and money to get Cosima kidnapped, and he was hmmmm i wonder how he kidnapped her???? Bro is so annoying.

Now i wanna go into the storyline, i really liked the time where Cosima was away from Alexander, because i felt there was a REAL storyline going on, like her trying to take down the order, but the moment they met again, it just went downhill. SO MUCH UNCESSARY S#X SCENES, like damn i get why the first book had a lot as it was moving the storyline forward, but this book had so much for no reason, it got to the point i read the same words and sentences over and over, and i just skipped through them because it was adding NOTHING to the storyline. Like please stop being horny for one chapter, also does she not have her period?? how did she get pregnant when we never see her have period, and having s#x 24/7???

Also how they took down The Order was sooo anti climatic, but i was like the book is FINALLY over, jokes on me there was ANOTHER 100 pages for no reason, like if we took some veryyy unecesarry shit out this book wouldve been a good 250-300 pages, BUT NOOO we had to add 500 different s#x scenes krbfhreufgeriufgierygfregferbfgh.

Cosimas twin brother makes an apperance in the begining of the book, and then he just disappears, no phone calls, nothing. He comes back in the epilouge though, and Cosima has to put her head where she doesnt belong because SHE INVITED HIS EX'S to her christmas party????? and then she just ignores her brother when hes mad and tries to get him to reconcile with his ex's??? Like what if they were abusive? what if they were the ones to break up with him? that just made me even more mad, and made me want to give the book 1 start just because of that.

Anyways, i think ill end the review here even though there were more things i wanted to talk about, but i dont think the english language has enough words for me to explain this book, so ill leave it at COSIMA IS A BITCH.

Giana has youth on her side, which gives her a killer attitude when writing dark romances. She's brave enough to make her villains dark and heroes darker. Her heroines aren't whimpering damsels in distress, just steely spined "Baby put in a corner". They pick themselves up, flex their fists and with their backs to the wall- Fight!!
Alexander Davenport is the Master who's slave/wife - Cosima Lombardi has run away. As much as he is on the prowl with a growl, "I don't need her, I don't want her", he misses her cause she's taken a piece of his heart with her...... The one he INSISTS doesn't beat for Cosima.
She on the other hand is existing, heartlessly wandering but her heart aches for Alexander
It's a conundrum. Their love is biting & scathing, thornful & scornful.....yet it works somehow. It was very tough for me to get into their dynamic..but Hey! Who am I to stop their bodies from exploding with passion whenever they are in each others orbits.
It's a dynamic, fast paced story with sizzling intensity of emotions and dramatic turn of events that shall keep you enthralled and enamored throughout

I’m flabbergasted, blown away, completely enamoured and awed by Giana’s epic conclusion to this duet.
It is long but there is soo much to happen. This is an epic battle against all their foes- plus a few more that were unexpected, a battle of wits, the long awaited moves on a chess board to finally get that checkmate that you’ve been dying for, the bitter sweetness of revenge and retaliation against evil. It’s what we’ve been waiting for and needing after Cosima ran away battered and bleeding.

This book picks up with Alexander’s awareness that his wife has gone. And we watch him grow as he slowly moves his pieces into play to take down the Order of Dionysus so that he may one day again be with his wife.

We watch Cosima grow up in the real world, to understand the she herself was her reason for living, but that she could use other people for her happiness. She bides her time with the fantasy that her husband will come back to claim her.

The love between these two is epic. While it began as purely physical, Cosima’s love and kindness was able to leech beneath Alexander’s hard exterior to show him that he did have a heart after all.

Be aware that there will be many moments of loud cursing and exclamations and you enjoy his journey that Giana sends you on.

PS,I can’t wait for Dante’s story, I think he’ll make us swoon so hard!

ARC received for an honest review.

+5-star story, 2-star editing/proofreading.

ENAMOURED is one of the best books I’ve ever read! It’s sexy, suspenseful and there is absolutely nothing predictable about this duet! Just when I thought I knew what was happening, Darling threw in another shocking curveball! The twists, turns, highs and lows kept going and going, leaving me constantly on the edge of my seat! ENAMOURED is truly a remarkably beautiful story!!!

Although the story deserves +5 stars, like its predecessor, ENAMOURED is badly in need of a good edit/proofread. I didn’t notice a single mistake until page 99 when the errors suddenly became rampant. There were literally more than 100 mistakes (I’ll admit it: I‘m anal and I highlight them as I read)!! The mistakes in this book are not those that would be caught by a spellchecker but were missing words, words in the wrong place, phrases being capitalized some times yet not consistently, grammatical errors, punctuation mistakes, etc.. For example, the word REIN was used in place of REIGN, CONVEY instead of CONVOY, and the word GORGEOUS was used 32 times. If a really thorough proofreader or editor could clean this up, ENAMOURED might easily be the best book I’ve ever read!!!!

Beyond thrilled to have the super sexy conclusion to Cosima's story. Darling has outdone herself. Beyond fascinated with Alexander Davenport and live how she cleverly ties the story in to the Evolution of Sin series where we first meet the heroine. Bellisimo.
