Lear
It was supposed to be a one-night stand with a tall, wiry, handsome, slightly nerdy guy with oddly captivating green eyes. Those eyes were the only clue that there was a lot more to this guy than I’d first assumed—they were hard, wickedly intelligent, cunning eyes. They hid more than they revealed, and the name he gave, Lear, seemed made up. But he was sexy and he talked a good game, and I was in the mood for some fun.
Turns out, though, that the green-eyed nerd I’d so enjoyed sleeping with was no one to screw around with, either. And he doesn’t like being forced to violence—which he was, in rescuing me. Not that I needed rescuing, mind you. I mean, there were a lot of them, and they were tough, and well-trained.

whoa! Cuddy and Lear's story is one heart pounding , action packed, hotter than heck story..there is so much to say and so much I can't obviously say..
Once I started there was no way to put it down..I stayed up half the night...
I need the next book ASAP cause I have a feeling the next story will be even more heartbreaking and will keep me on edge!

Balls to the wall romantic suspense…
Wow – was this a ride! Even while my mind swirls with alpha-numeric gun names (there are a LOT!), the relationship between Lear and Dani was crystal clear. Both experts in their dangerous field, they came together in a meeting of minds, hearts and gunfire. An uber-hot one night stand turned into a courtship that they fought tooth and nail but the heat between them could not be denied. And that was not the only things percolating in this action-filled, danger around every corner read. Enemies were never far away and this was a roller-coaster ride of suspense and tension…
Chemistry and humour shined under the hails of bullets, the heat simmering and sizzling between Lear and Dani. Discovering each other’s true selves should have been impossible but instead it was a testament to the love growing between them. With teammates at their back, this pair was going to make it…
The only regret I have is I started the Alpha One Security series so late as reading from the beginning would have only made this standalone read so much better.

Un-freaking-believable! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Book 5 of the A1S is just riveting. I’ve loved this whole series but I have a special love for Lear & Dani. The story was fast paced and high octane! I can’t wait to read Anselm’s story and then I hope we get a new series with Johnny Raze and the RMI group ♥️

Lear
I absolutely loved Lears book and Dani she is the sh$%, she is great, she is awesome, she is badass and as deadly as any man but she is what Lear needed and Lear is what she needed together they are and can be unstoppable. Can't wait until the next book and the conclusion it's been a great ride.

Alpha. Bullets. Cuddy.
This series is hands down one of my favorite by Jasinda Wilder. The action scenes are just as intense as the the sexy scenes and I had the hardest time putting the book down.
I love Lear. He's equally techie as he is sexy. Confident in his movements, protective when necessary and yet recognizes where someone is more qualified than him. That would be Dani. His Dani. What I loved most? That Dani was just as alpha as Lear on the outside, until he was able to reach her tender side. The side of her she doesn't show to others. Getting to her inner core was what made this story so much more detailed.
But after reading this installment, I think Cain has just about reached the end of the line. And I cannot wait to see how he will fall.
I highly recommend this WHOLE series. Action packed, sexy sultry and just down right good! This is a WHAT-ARE-YOU-WAITING-FOR.. MUST READ.. series.

OMG I loved Dani's & Lear's story!
I was on the edge of my seat the whole time reading this book.
Lear & Dani are such an amazing couple and I loved the chemistry they have towards one another.
Author Jasinda Wilder gives us well developed characters, great plot and an overall book that kept me entertained from beginning to end.
This book can be read as a standalone book in this series but I HIGHLY recommend reading them all.

Ehh, Lear isn't one to bull****, or beat around the bush, "he watched me very carefully. “Simple. My place, yours, or a hotel?” Lear tends to notice things about his woman, “you must own some seriously impressive sports bras,” I muttered. “Keeping those monsters contained during an op must be a hell of a job.” The man really is quite honest, “about you?” I laughed. “I don’t think there’s anything about you that doesn’t turn me on somehow.” I liked this book, I loved Lear.

A1S is back with an almighty bang and i‘ve loved every minute. I have loved this series and so glad to read another book. Lear and Cuddy are meant for each other given similar backgrounds and work. Throughout this book they are still trying to find and kill Cain. So glad there is another book in the series

What a story! From the very beginning, this story grabs you. I loved the descriptive scenes...I almost felt like I was watching a movie. Danielle/Cuddy and Lear make a breathtaking pair in this book and the cliff hanger is making me antsy! Wow! Definitely a power packed action and romance uniquely and beautifully done.

OMG! This book had me on the edge of my seat for sure but damn Lear and Cuddy make an amazing couple!!!! It got my heart pump into where I had to speed walk and then drop the book so could stop reading just to prolong the end..... amazing amazing amazing!!!!

I swear Cain has got to go!!!!! But the serious fire between Lear and Cuddy! So in love with them!!! Great action and hot scenes make for another great book to add to this series!!! Can’t wait for the final!!!!!

Lear by Jasinda Wilder is book five in her Alpha One Security series. Lear is , like the other books in this series, a stand alone. The previous books are Harris; Tresh; Duke and Puck.
Lear is the nerdy one of the group. He's not a damsel in distress rescuer, but when he meets Cuddy, he can't stay away.
Danielle, aka Cuddy is not a damsel. She's a strong heroine, her calling is in the military where she works super secret ops.
And thn everything changes when these two meet.
Lear is a fast paced, nailbiting pageturner that kept me on the edge of my seat.
I loved the story and the characters, 4,5 stars.

Dnf... i think this is the first Jasinda Wilder I do not finish.
didn't make sense... Heroes caught up in a deadly chase, and ALL they have on their mind, CONSTANTLY, is lust and analysing emotions... Come on... Plus Dani's behavior wasn't very coherent or in tune with the badass commando persona.
Sorry to say all the rambling bored me so much, i skimmed through entire paragraphs before finally giving up.

so far behind ...but i am making head way, on my review list ... i have read book 1 from this series ... yet to read any of the others ... now read book 5 ... great cover. who does like a hunking dude on a cover? i know Jasinda most or best in my humble opinion because of the Badd Brothers series ... i am trying to stop talking about that series but i can't ... any who ... this is a fun read ... different kind of size the Wilder folks. check it out!

Oh just when I thought I couldn’t love a series more, here comes Lear!
I always appreciate strong heroine females who aren’t just sitting around waiting to be rescued. Danielle is just that, strong and kick ass! Couldn’t put this book down, really enjoyed the excitement and thrill this book carried through right to the end. Still swooning over the heat between Lear and Danielle!

Would have been a 4 star, cause if I had to hear ONE MORE TIME on how u could bounce a quarter off of Cuddy's ass from her own mouth, I was going to jump into this book and shove that quarter up her ass myself.

Alpha One - Is that a Promise?
This was really good but I felt like Lear was maybe portrayed a bit too soft for how hard core he was. I really would have liked to see him do more high tech activities while on the run. Seemed to me that his ability to stay hidden didn’t really play very well in the storyline considering his genius. Dani is fantastic and such a badass. I loved every second of her character and them together. I enjoyed how Lear went from gentle, to passionate, to dominate and then protective with Dani. This was such a powerful, dramatic, energetic, healing, adventurous, and sexy love story of two people on the run from mercenaries who find they have a lot in common.

Just keeps getting better with each book
Damn! I want one of these guys for myself. Began with Alpha and continued with A1S, these badass soldiers are like the energizes bunny. They take a lickin and keep on tickin. Great read.

Lear made it to love
That was the coolest meeting I have read in a while and I'm so happy it was Lear. Dani is awesome and now I wonder if there's a series on the Raze company team. These characters are endless and so strong just hard to do anything but read!

out of every couple so far, Lear and Dani are by far my favorite (maybe Layla and Harris tbd) but their love story just seems much more romantic and has elements of soulmate. Just seems like they were MEANT to be together rather than forced- *cough cough* Kyrie and Roth🙄
