How much power do the characters have to change their world?
Tom had the power to make a completely different chance to change everything, but then we wouldn’t have this book would we?

I have read quite a number of books from this Author and I would have to say this is my favorite thus far; though I have enjoyed all of the books I read written by this Author. I would say the moral of the story is that honesty is best and keeping secrets especially in a relationship is not good. Sometimes how we think someone will react to something and how they actually react is two different things. This book is written around that idea. The characters in this book are very well developed and important to the writing of this story. And there are four main characters, Logan Payne and his sister Janie who is married to Tom Bailey, and Tom’s sister Sara. Also important to the story is Levi Moran the outlaw that feels he owns the town of Oakmede and indeed has inspired fear in many of the the town residents included the town Sheriff. Other characters important to the telling of the story is Charley and Carter children of Tom and Janie Bailey and nephews to Logan and Sara. These two add humor and affection to the story. Also adding to the story is Charley’s and Carter’s puppy. Logan and Sara fall in Love; but they are unable to pursue their relationship because Logan is keeping a secret from his sister Janie that Sara knows about. He feels he should come clean to his sister about the secret he is keeping; because she feels he might decide to keep secrets in their relationship and she doesn’t want that.
I thought it was a great story. I think the Author is a great storyteller. The pace of the story is good with lots of twists and turns. There’s no profanity and no sexually explicit dialogue.

Sara lived in Baltimore with her mother and worked in a garment factory. Life was hard but they were getting by. They received word that her brother in Kansas had been arrested and a trial was pending. Sara rushes to Kansas to support her brother and help his wife and 2 boys.
Sara had never been out of the city so she was enthralled with the wide open spaces of the plains. Even the air smelled fresh. She falls in love with the farm, her little nephews she had never seen and with Janie's brother, Logan.
Tom is sentenced to 5 yrs in prison for a crime he didn't commit. Will Tom be acquitted? Will the man responsible for framing him get away with it? Will Logan finally admit to himself that he can't live without Sara?
An extended epilogue that takes place a year later ties up the loose ends well. I received an ARC from the author and this is my voluntary review.

Partners In Justice And Love has all the bells and whistles a good suspense love story should have. Lorelei Brogan once again has brought the West to life In this story. When the mysterious bounty hunter Logan meets the beautiful Sara they both work together to prove Sara's brother and Logan's brother-in-law Tom had been framed and imprisoned wrongly. During this time of working together they started to fall in love but an argument sent Sara back to Baltimore before things were resolved. Logan needed some prodding from Janie and Tom to go to Baltimore to tell Sara he needed her and he found that she needed him just as much. She said she was holding out for the love of her life that would give her butterflies and she was right. Logan fulfilled all her dreams as did Sara for him.

Logan is working as a bounty hunter. His brother in law has run into trouble with gambling and owes Moran two thousand dollars from gambling debt. He has asked that no one tells Janie his sister because he thinks she will leave Tom.
Moran only wanted Tom and Logan out of his way but when Sara arrives he doesn’t make a move. Logan returns and helps clear Tom’s name. Good book I enjoyed reading it.

Heartwarming romance
I received an ARC of this book from the author, Lorelei Brogan, and this is my voluntary and honest review. I loved this book and the extended epilogue. The author did a great job creating the characters and writing in a way that made me want to keep reading until the end. The love story between Sara and Logan was great. They both had nurturing hearts and always put others before themselves so were perfectly matched. I was happy that Logan was able to do his job as a lawman safely. I highly recommend this book, and I look forward to the next book by this author.

Beautifully written historical romance with great characters. Sara Bailey heads to Kansas when she learns of her brothers arrest. She knows he's not the type of person to do what he is accused of and she can't let her sister in law handle things alone. Arriving in Kansas, Sara sets her mind to making sure her brother gets home to be with his family no matter what she has to do. She teams up with her brother in law Logan to see how they can bring the family back together and clear her brothers name. A sure 5 star read.

Sara Bailey was a very responsible young woman but now she has to travel to Kansas he brother needed her. Events do not turn out well and she with the help of Logan Payne set out to deal with the problem. This story was so full of action you will be caught right at first and it will not let you go. With high emotions and a realistic storyline, the characters will seem to just jump off the page. This was such a good story it was captivating in so many ways. High praise for the author she has written one hell of a book.

Logan, Janie's brother, had been a bounty hunter and left to make money bringing in outlaws to pay a debt that Tom had from gambling. When Logan heard of Tom's imprisoned he returned, and he and Sara set about to clear Tom's name. This story is full of intriguing and believable characters. It is a wonderful story of forgiveness and love. I couldn't put it down.

This story starts out fast and continues as Sara heads out West to help her brother's family. The story is well written and the characters are well thought out. Our hero is a good man, but slow when it comes to how women think. The action keeps this story moving and the romance only advances when Logan is made to see the error in his thinking. Sara is so good, it seems ashamed to waste her on an ex-bounty hunter. Sara sees the good man in Logan, not the monster that he sees.

I love stories by Lorelei Brogan. Her characters are strong and the story lines hold your interest. Logan and Sara both will go to great extremes to help and protect their siblings. Even though Tom made some major mistakes, he was taken advantage of by an evil man and will need Janie, Sara and Logan to clear his name. I totally enjoyed this book.

A warm and touching story of life on the open plaines of Kansas all the way from Baltimore.
A family who faces lots of struggles and hardships on their ranch which is made even more difficult because of outlaws. A very entertaining story that kept me reading into the night.

A very good western novel!
I really did enjoy this story of two couples caught up in the hands of evil. Their strength and love made a good story. I liked the supporting towns people and the love that grew. I recommend this book to all romantic readers, thank you, Jack.

Great story!
These characters are amazing! The two little boys are wonderfully written. I could 'see' them so clearly. I smiled at their antics. The imagery of the landscapes were also easy to picture. Highly recommend this one!

Finding love in the strangest way!
This was a very nice story about losing one’s way, and how family can overcome the pain and problems to set it right and how love and trust can cause pain, and how the truth can set you free!

The characters are interesting and so is the story. I am not certain the new house could be be built in that short of the time with all the other obligations of life, but it makes a good ending.

An Exciting Book Full of Twist and Turns
Another great author! I loved this book, and found it diffult to lay it down. It was a western full of family life on a ranch, where many problems were shared. There were many ups and downs of romance and emotions. A real page turner!
