I never really liked poetry and then Mike's poetry made me like poetry and I especially never liked Haiku but there Mike is, yet again, with these amazing Haiku. At this rate, I half expect Mike to show up at my dinner table and reveal to me that I actually love cabbage. One day I will turn around after saying, "The color teal is so ugly," and Mike will be standing behind me in a teal shirt that changes my opinion immediately.

Seriously though, this book is incredible. Contrasting images, floating philosophies, and so much more. It can be a light read or a heavy read, just depends on what energy you have to give.

This book is incredibly short but it’s not something I’d want to read in one sitting. These are some of the most absurdly creative little poems I’ve have the pleasure of reading. I liked reading them one or two at a time, playing with them in my mind. Stay awhile. Play with the haiku. Savor the haiku. These fantastic images. It’s like a haiku version of Coney Island of the Mind. Shit, I don’t know if it all means anything. It doesn’t have to. I’m just enjoying the ride.
