The next installment of Rumini did not disappoint! Although this is a shorter volume (284 pages), the adventure is no less exciting or action-packed than the previous ones. I like that Judit Berg can figure out plots that always have a unique setting, new creatures that our heroes meet and a satisfying conclusion. The only thing I was missing (or hoping for) was, maybe an epilogue with Vanita and Rombó finally finding each other and living happily ever after. Those who know know :)

I praise that this series has a static good quality, book-by-book not falling behind in standard, which is a huge achievement from the author. I recommend this whole-heartedly to every parent and child, 8 years and up, who wants to get immersed in a maritime setting, great animal characters and a breakneck adventure every time you pick up a Rumini book. Also this new edition with the updated drawings is great in my opinion, this is the only edition I collect.
