The two worlds merge. While that in itself is not an issue due to all of Touya's footwork, the Wicked Deity uses the situation to get a foothold in it as well. And it seemed to have developed a weapon that is particularly strong against Touya and his loved ones.
The author is not changing the formula, so an entertaining light-hearted read with some decent world building and likeable if somewhat simple characters mixed in with the occasional eyeroll at their behaviour. There is some solid plot progression in this volume and only a few side tracks, which for me makes it one of the better reads of the series in some time. So, for the series a good read.

The series continues to deliver the goods. In this book, we see the merging of the worlds and and actions of the bad guys. We also find out about a couple of significant historical events in that alternate world.
If you like this type of book, this series is a must!

I am looking forward for the next story. I am enjoying the series greatly , I appreciate the work that goes into an project of this scope. Creating a world and populating it with believable individuals who capture one's heart. This is the wonderful achievement.

Good somewhat clean fun
The story is written rather well and the characters are very good development and I like the world building and the drama and the fun things that happen. Of course I'm more used to reading more mature writings but this is an easy going relaxing read.

It really it’s coming all together. I can’t wait to see what Gila has in store for Touya. The revelation of the creator of the gollems is something interesting. The countries coming together to fight is something.
