This is a novelisation of the pilot episode of H2O - Just Add Water. It is pretty much a slightly fleshed out script with little deviation or description. Sentences are simple and should prove no difficulty for the younger end of the YA spectrum.

The strongest thing about this is the story - H2O being the best thing for mermaid fans since Splash. I love the magical way the mermaids are created and of course the friendship between three quite different girls.

As a novel this doesn't add anything you don't get in the episode and there are no illustrations or stills other than the cover, but if you are an H2O fan then the fact that there are books available is always going to be a bonus.

Even if this is meant for kids it was still nice to read. I just love the H2O tv show! I could picture everything that was happening in the book, just like it happened in the show :)
