NEW COVER EDITION
ASIN: B00GLATANQ

Trapped in an elevator with a handsome stranger was the perfect meet-cute, but Dr. Snow Daze wasn’t interested in being the heroine of any romance novel. A serious researcher at Providence Hospital in Snowberry, Minnesota, Snow doesn’t have time for a personal life, which was exactly the way she liked it.

Dully Alexander hated elevators, until he was stuck in one with a beautiful snow angel. Intrigued by her gorgeous white hair, and her figure hugging wheelchair, he knows he’ll do anything to be her hero. When a good old-fashioned Minnesota blizzard traps them at her apartment, he takes advantage of the crackling fire, whispered secrets on the couch, and stolen kisses in the night. Dully will stop at nothing to convince Snow she deserves her own happily ever after.

I love love love Dulley! Okay so I love how I feel that I can be a better person after reading K. Mettner's work. It contains flaws that everyday people have to deal with and most authors gloss over. She can take a difficult situation and show it in detail but it's not the focus, it takes a back seat to the love story, but shows that not everyone is the perfect height, made of millions and lives in fantasy land. Another hit!

I don't know where to begin. I absolutely loved this story. Easily fell in love with Snow and Dully. Their story of how they met, and how they fell in love... Wow. I wish the story didn't have to end. I felt like I was watching a movie as I was reading this book. I was not even one bit distracted cause Dully had my full attention ;) The one thing I loved about this book was how Dully Loved Snow for who she.

Holy really-badly-written book, Batman. DNF.

I made it to page 25 out of 120, and that's... a fair try. But the writing was piss-poor, the plot nonexistent, and the characters flat. When we got to "I love salami and anchovies on my pizza" followed up with "A man after my own heart!" I gagged and mentally threw it against the wall. Since, you know, it's an ebook, and thus I can't throw in in my burn barrel.

Pass on this one. It's not worth it.

Snow Daze by Katie Mettner is a little gem of a romance that starts with a meet cute in an elevator between a doctor and a man on a “rescue” mission to visit a sick friend at the hospital.

From the opening to the final pages there is a bitter sweetness to the emotional placement of a broken heart in comparison to someone else that has held out for the real thing with the understanding that it might never come.

The beauty and realism in the story is delineated with a light hand, as this isn’t just two people who have a romantic connection, but a story of quiet struggle between what is a huge challenge in life and one most of us won’t ever understand.

The diversity I crave in stories was present in that the most desired person in the story was also in a wheelchair. I adore that the heart and love is shown as the most important catalyst and everything else was secondary. This was a brilliant way to deliver the message to others that love surpasses everything else. This story came when I needed something wonderful and heartfelt to help me through my own challenges.

We all want to be seen the same as other people and to have the chance to live and be who we are. Rather than Dr. Snow wallowing or feeling sorry for herself in the great difficulties she faced on a daily basis, she came off as straightforward and savvy, but not too jaded to let the light in when it arrives in the form of Dully.

It was a refreshing change that the person with the most struggles was also capable, successful career whise and a sexual being with deep feelings. Rather than the Cinderella trope where a woman is waiting to be rescued by someone, it feels like two hearts are on an even keel and it’s a fateful meeting that changes two lives for the better.

I will certainly be reading more of the author’s work and deeply appreciate the messages of strength through perseverance and this delightful story of true love. The final scene was pure fantasy and fairy tale romance that made me miss the snow of my childhood.

Very sweet novella!! Dully is one special guy. Snow is such a unique character! She is disabled and that in itself makes for a very interesting romance. How will the guy treat or even relate to her? It was wonderful to learn of his background. Together they are just perfectly suited 💖💖💖 Loved how this author showed how love is limitless!!

WOW! Katie Mettner has done it again! This story was so sweet and loving I was done before I knew it. I am hooked. The characters are amazing with big hearts and wonderful personalities. It is so refreshing not to have everyone in the book be perfect. This is more like real life were the people have issues and imperfections. They have overcome trials and are fighting to keep moving forward with positive lives. In a world with so much hate and rudeness it is nice to be able to escape to the small town of Snowberry and emerge yourself into their world. I can't wait to move on to the next story in this series.
It was hard not to love Snow right from the start. Her cheerful personality really shined through. Although she had her doubts about her self she wasn't whiny about it. She had her moments when she was a little negative but people do and then she was right back to only wanting to find someone to love her just the way she was. Dully was that someone and he too was looking for that one person that he knew he would find and when he did he didn't let her go. He was beyond sweet and very sexy.

What starts as a chance encounter in an elevator will bloom into a heart warming and inspirational relationship. Katie Mettner really knows how to cheer the human spirit and make you feel what her characters are feeling with effortless talent. Their vulnerability and their strength will have you rooting for a happy ending you know is inevitable. This is a great seasonal read and will make you laugh and cry.

5+ stars all the way!

Snow Daze by Katie Mettner

Dr. Snow Daze is trapped in an elevator with Dully Alexander. They strike up a conversation and a mutual attraction occurs. Snow is very busy and career oriented, a new relationship is the last thing she was looking for. Dully is totally taken in by Snow, he loves everything about her, he is determined to win her heart.

Snow is very likable, she is in a wheelchair, but doesn't let it define her. Dully is able to look past her disability and love her for who she is. I really likes Dully and the tender way he teats Snow. Overall I found Snow daze, to be a warm "feel good" love story. I highly recommend to those who love a sweet Romance.

3.5 stars. I really like the story here, and the disability representation was excellent. The writing...wasn't my favorite. It wasn't BAD but there was a lot of telling vs showing. I did not FEEL the connection and love between these characters...but I thought their love story was beautiful. I'm definitely going to read the next book in this series and am hoping since it's a little longer that I will like the writing better and will feel more connected to the characters and their emotions because as someone with a disability...we NEED more authors out there telling these beautiful love stories that include people with disabilities.

It all started in an elevator,
And from there, snow daze just took off.
What I think is the perfect romance.

And I don't read romance, very often. but I think this is the sweetest. The perfect read.
I needed a short read. This was the one I picked. I loved the book cover. The characters are absolutely perfect together.

Definitely suggest this story if you're looking for a short read... However there are books that follow. The book fastly became a series. I will definitely read the rest in the future... I read this book on kindle unlimited. That's where I will read the rest.. I will read the rest of them on kindle unlimited as well.. My husband and I both enjoy kindle unlimited..

A heart warming start to the Christmas Season!

I’ve definitely become a fan of Mrs. Mettner’s work! I’m quickly working my way through all of her books! This one did not disappoint! I think the best part is the characters! I love love love the way she is not afraid to put characters who are true to life in her books! They live life, have problems, and find love just like in real life! But best of all, she doesn’t feel the need to make them perfect except for their special someone else! I love this book, and I know that you will too!

Dully is a special education teacher and Snow is a Dr and does research at the hospital. Snow has a disability and does not have time for a man in her life and thinks all men would be scared off by her wheelchair.

Dully and Snow meet when they are trapped in an elevator together. Later the Minnesota blizzard keeps them stuck at Snow's house and Dully does his best to convince Snow that she deserves love. Will he win Snow's love and trust?

This is an enjoyable, quick read with wonderful characters. I will definitely be reading the rest of the Snowberry Series!

Snow Daze is a short story with a big impact. Dr. Snow Daze is developing a wheelchair that responds to voice commands, and she is not only the researcher but the owner. And after a bad relationship years ago, she has decided to devote all of her time and effort in MAC ( the wheelchair). But a Chance meeting has her questioning her decision. Dully, is different than any man she has ever met. And has a passion for those that are disabled. Snow and Dully’s story is fun, inspiring and reminds us that love or friendship can blossom when you least expect it, or even when you don’t want it

This is a very sweet novella. I finished in under an hour. While it may be a short read, the characters shine through and the plot is complete. I liked everything about Snow Daze and will check out more books by this author.
Interesting fact - the lead character is in a wheelchair as is the author herself!

Short…but well written…

As a person with a disability I was looking for romance books focusing those of us using wheelchairs. This book was short and the story moved too rapidly. Character development of Snow was great, but Dully needed a bit more. Overall, this was a good heartwarming story.

Fast easy read . Great energy between the main characters a wheelchair bound Doctor and a special education teacher she meet by chance when an elevator gets stuck. If you are looking for a fast easy snowy read this is for you. This author has a character in her books with some form of disability that is very tastefully written

Good, but short read. The author, an amputee, does a great job of normalizing physical challenges and showing that those facing them have normal romantic, sexual relationships. This is the story of beautiful wheelchair bound researcher Snow Daze and teacher Dully Alexander. I love it when I want more of the story though I have finished the book.

Wonderful Christmas story

Such a fun read for this time of year (or anytime). I love how Katie paints the charactsrs....color of hair, color of eyes, using a wheelchair, strong muscled. The characters have such strong personalities that I want to meet them in person. Highly recommend.

Cute and sweet! I would have loved more of a build up as far as the dating and romance goes before marriage and book end, but I like the characters and the way they care about each other so much. Ready to read book two. I have already read book 3 in paperback and it was great!

I love Christmas stories. I enjoyed Snow Daze but had some issues with it as well. It is a short Christmas story and reads extremely fast. So the first issue comes in with the insta -love romance between Dr Snow Daze and Dully Alexander, special education teacher. Being a short story, I guess it has to be insta-love or you'd end up with a full fledged novel. The other issue I had was that the story was written in Snow's POV and also in Dully's POV. Personally, I like a story told from one POV or the other. I dislike the confusion with the shift in characters POV unless it is specified by chapters. But that is a personal preference I'm sure.

I did thoroughly enjoy the character of Dully. He was a character who knew his mind and his heart and he set about to win Snow's heart and make her his.

The story was sweet and enjoyable, but I think it could have been developed with a tad more length, rather than feeling so rushed.

Snow Daze by Katie Mettner is a sweet story of romance.in the days of a snowy winter in the north. I love stories that are set in the snowy north and Snow is such an endearing and enduring character, full of strength and the joy of life. Dully is a man who also knows the meaning of abundent life and together they are a couple worth knowing. This is a book written to enhance your Christmas season and it succeeds. It is a sensual Christian romance, intended for those with an active sex life.
