Every single piece in this collection of the Muses communicates a bold confidence in simplicity and imperfection; and nowhere else have I seen pieces that make imperfection look so naturally beautiful. This book, without any words, makes an obsession with perfection, in art as well as in ones own body, seem truly superfluos, as beauty has no need for it.
